Great Credit Card for Construction Business
What do you like best about the product?
We love the accounting feature. It enables us to keep our books organized and expense tracking simple. We also like that the card can automatically lock if a cardholder doesn't submit the required information for charges.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to be able to categorize the transaction by item vs. by expense, so I can import all transactions into QB rather than only the charges that peer with an expense account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to be backed up with many charges, missing receipts, and memos. Now with Ramp, everything is so organized and in one place. I never miss a receipt or memo again.
Great expense management tool for Startups
What do you like best about the product?
Being stretched on time, Ramp helps in saving lot of admin work by being able to create multiple payment cards & setting hard limits so we never get over charged. With bank connection paying back card statements is also straight forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a deal breaker as their web app is very mobile friendly but having an android app will always be preferable for quicker access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unlimited virtual cards, great cash back on the spend, Receipt management.
I've fallen in love...
What do you like best about the product?
Ramp has really helped me get back in control of our companies expenses. I appreciate being able to track spend on different vendors with virtuals cards. I love being able to give my employees the flexibility of a card within seconds. I also love the automations that is helping my bookkeeping team to close the books earlier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much I don't dislike. Anything that is glitchy or has any issue I've contacted support and they get back in a very timely manner. The one complaint I did have was the quality of the employee cards but then they sent me a metal card and that was a nice touch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp is solving the old school finance systems like the big banks that just lump all your transactions into one big statement. Ramp allows you to filter and categorizes your transactions using their automations.
Helpful Program
What do you like best about the product?
Processes credit card charges and AP billing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still some bugs in the software, but it's been consistently getting better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes the process of managing expenses much easier.
Great experience using Ramp
What do you like best about the product?
Ramp is an all-in-one platform that's helped us consolidate spend and track everything in one place. The UI is really nice and the team is super responsive and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidation of spend, better security around our corporate cards, and a great negotiation service that's saved us some money
They double paid my contractors who were on recurring payments... Caused heartburn and embarrassment
What do you like best about the product?
Nice user interface and strong integration with Quickbooks
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't trust their payment system. Are they going to send money at the right time? To the right person? I have to switch away from Ramp in the new year
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My accountants wanted me to use Ramp for expense management. Due to screwups, they are referring me to another preferred vendor of theirs
Ramp is a champ
What do you like best about the product?
The extensive flexibility of virtual and physical card options is powerful. Invoice and receipt uploading and QB coding is easy. The best part is it's free!
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is a little tricky. It would help to have a concise high-level user guide for employees. Understand review/submission requirements before issuing cards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No/low credit - I don't have to pay off the card every week. Delegation of spend management. Increased functionality to employees. Reduced time on bookkeeping.
Great business card for a young startup based on our merit, not on our length of time in business.
What do you like best about the product?
Great reporting, easy to use, good look metal cards, easy to pay. Employees feel great about this card.
What do you dislike about the product?
It won't attach to my bank account - I don't work with a large corporate bank, but rather a small regional - and they aren't plaid friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As the business owner, we used 4-5 personal credit cards across the company and pay them daily. Much easier process with larger limits. Easier record keeping.
Great way for a small company to get purchasing credit cards
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create multiple virtual cards that can be assigned to different departments for different purposes - each with their own limits and approvals.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface for the account management page can take a little getting used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to provide a worldwide team with company credit cards in a controlled and trackable manner. This reduces the management overhead for purchasing goods and services we need.
Great for companies that need to pay multiple vendor
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to create cards, one for each vendor. Companies that pay multiple vendors can greatly benefit from Ramp's functionality of creating cards with distinct limits and usage rules. That helps avoid issues with cards cancelled because of fraud, for example. Also, the ability to create cards for employees and departments is very handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although I have submitted bank statements showing balance in our business savings account, Ramp is giving us a hard time increasing limits. They insist that we should link all our accounts to their system. That isn't something we want to do. Linking the checking account and providing statements of other accounts should be enough. A low limit is troublesome and we had some transactions refused because of that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp solves the problem is having a single card linked to multiple vendors. If that card is cancelled for fraud, for example, we need to put a new card number on every vendor. With Ramp, a card is issued for each vendor, therefore any attempted fraud is contained.
