Time Saving & Cash Back
What do you like best about the product?
I love everything about Ramp. Iuse Ramp daily. They are constantly upgrading and making improvements, It is very user friendly. I love that I can export into Quickbooks instead of handkeying everything like I was doing prior to Ramp. I love that I can download a zip file that contains all of the receipts at one time. I love that I can send reminders with just a click. I recommend it to everyone. Some staff were a little hesistant when we impleted Ramp, but now they love it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I struggled when first using it. Doing things like setting work flows and creating differenet reports. The only downside for me is there are individual statements. I have to create them from a master list of charges. Sometimes my exports fail when importing them into QuickBooks, not sure exactly why, but I did talk to a Ramp rep about it and they said it was an issue that they were working on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I stated previously, my main issue is with exports that fail either partially or completely. Ramp said they were aware of the issue and are working to fix it.
Superior Spend Management Platform with a Credit Card
What do you like best about the product?
Previously, we used Amex coupled with separate spend management platforms. We tried Concur but cancelled before implementation was over it was so bad. We used Zoho for a while and it was OK and met our needs reasonably well. Ramp is great since it combines the functions of a corporate credit card with an easy to use expense management platform. Users getting hit with a text as soon as a purchase is made to upload the receipt is a great feature. The team loves it and it increases compliance. Automatic trip detection and bundling of expenses for the trips works surprisingly well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting interfaces are oddly difficult to manage and navigate. We have to pull down certain reports as part of our monthly and quarterly closes and it's always a challenge to remember exactly how to recreate the same export. This could be a bit better. Similarly, as an admin, the nav bar is seemingly comingled between my needs as a user vs my needs as an admin. Separate entrance points depending upon what I need to do would simplify things. I do like the bundling of trip expenses. However, the travel manager lacks a key feature we need before implementing. We need manager approval for trips. Currently, there is no method for a manager to review a team member's travel request apart from just approving the spend. This could be improved but it may meet the needs of others as is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp makes it much easier for us to get the receipts for transactions on our coporate cards. For those outside of the card, employees can get reimbursed super fast. And conversely, they can repay the company fast for erroneous transactions.
Great product that fits all our needs
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and automatic expense uploads and the ease of implementation
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no dislikes. The system works perfectly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp has made it easier and quicker for our employees to submit expenses
Time saving, simple to use software.
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to navigate, quick customer service, so many useful features.
What do you dislike about the product?
As they are trying to improve the system (which is great) the layout does change fairly often but its easy to navigate but I do like consistency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all Credit Card expenses in one place where each cardholder is responsible of uploading their own receipts and their own memos without having to keep track of bank statements and an excel sheet. All the information is in one place.
#1 tool for finance teams
What do you like best about the product?
Simple interface, customizable rules, free, responsive support
What do you dislike about the product?
Some nice to have features are reserved for Ramp Plus (charged based on # of users)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp is an all-in-one tool vs. previously having different products for bill pay (our bank), credit cards (Amex), reimbursements (Gusto), travel budgets (Excel).
Ramp has a wonderful platform that is always expanding to include useful functions
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use for cardholders. Ease of use for accounting team
What do you dislike about the product?
N/A .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking and obtaining receipts
The best way to manage business finances
What do you like best about the product?
Ramp's automations make it simple to categorize transactions, manage spend, and close books every day. One of our most-used features is "spend controls" where we can partition unique controls and gaurdrails based on vendor, transaction category, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The travel features are not fully-baked yet. Our team often leaves Ramp travel to book flights, hotels, and other accomidations. With that being said, Ramp improves quickly so I'm confident this problem will be resolved soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As our spend grew, it became hard to manage controls across different vendors, or have insights into how company-wide spend would break down across a given month. Ramp's insights and controls allow us to automate (with visibility) that entire process decreasing our bookkeeping time from days to hours.
An Honest Review of Ramp, From Integration to Daily Use
What do you like best about the product?
Ramp automates the AP process tremendously. It allows users to forward bills from their email inbox to Ramp as well as allowing users to upload the bills directly inside of Ramp. Their AI automation reads the bils and fills out most, if not all, of the information on the bill. This obviously saves a ton of time. It also integrates with your email and can match receipts with credit card transactions automatically. We implemented Ramp somewhat recently and it was very streamlined.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can not think of downsides of using Ramp. The company I work for did not have any software like this before so the AP process was very manual.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating the AP process and credit card expense process. Ramp also syncs to Sage Intacct which makes reconciliations much easier.
Excellent Resource
What do you like best about the product?
Ramp saves time by not having to fill out traditional expense reports, money by spending less time tracking everything and entering it and keeps our team on track with budgeting and receipt collection.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that it was a little easier to find where your rewards are in your account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Ramp we spent a lot of time tracking down team members that did not submit receipts, with Ramp we have much less of that. We also spent a lot of time filling out expense reports, submitting them, entering the expenses, etc. Ramp does all of that collection now and we just approve.
I have recommended Ramp to other non-profits.
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the dashboard, which is very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow to process and update when reviewing transactions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can issue credit cards to my board members.
