Love the Ramp card!
What do you like best about the product?
No expense reports. Just email or text a picture of the receipt and a short memo
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really a downside. They do stay on top of you to send receipts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time to do a weekly expense report. Ramp is so much easier
Ramp makes reconciliation a breeze
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature has been the accounting export, it includes vendor and card rules to automatically categorize transactions and having receipt matching makes things even easier to audit.
What do you dislike about the product?
The bill pay feature is fantastic as well, however the export for bill accounting entries is available only once the bill has been processed for payment, which does not allow recognizing expenses via export in an immediate manner. It would be nice to separate the export feature from the paid section.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp has solved missing receipts because it notifies users of the card that they need to upload their receipts. We also had trouble with having physical cards on hand for in person purchases, but now most users have their own. If there's a question about a transaction, we know exactly who to ask since each user gets a card. Every transaction is recorded in our accounting system when we export from ramp so it makes for super simple reconciliation.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is no notification at the time of incurring the expenses

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp is trying various ways to motivate employees and also making the accounting process seamless. That would help our entity going forward
Intuitive solution for the dreaded expense report
What do you like best about the product?
I like the various options to get receipts into the system, whether using the Ramp card or when using another form of payment. Can upload, drag/drop or email. It all works well and quickly. As an approver, it's also straightforward on how to approve and view submissions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had some issues with it recognizing which currency the expense was in (despite the receipt clearly indicating it was in NZ$ and the merchant being in NZ for some reason the system kept bringing them in as AUD expenses.) I just had to carefully check them each time to be sure it was the right currency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlined management of expense reporting and approvals so that it is more in the flow of work vs a big process involving lots of time. Allows me to get on with my day job!
Credit Cards made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of ramp is being able to give all my employees credit cards to use quickly, easily, and seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it is great to be able to import transactions into Quickbooks, it is still a little daunting when there are a large number of transactions to import. I wish this part of the process was a little easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With ramp, we don't have to chase down receipts any longer. That has been a big benefit for our company. It saves us a lot of time.
Awesome product for our small business
What do you like best about the product?
The product is easy to use, offers cash back and has clear updates on our spending. Took a bit of time to get the hang of how it works, but once I was in and using it daily, it was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't interact with our accounting system (Wave). Doesn't make a difference if I export the transactions, I can't update to Wave.
I have removed the owner from the constant emails and he is still getting them. I get the notice of being close to our balance and such, but if I say no emails, that should be all emails. Not necessary for him to get messages on what he doesn't handle.
Would be nice if I could pay off different platforms to some of our contractors that live out of the country (eg, WorldRemit). I still need to rely on the bank debit card for these types of transactions.

We needed a credit card to pay our vendors. Most of our workers are contractors and bank cards, such as debit cards tend to throw holds when you use various platforms. I was constantly on the phone with fraud protection using their product. With Ramp, everything goes through, no questions asked. The cash back is a nice touch!

What do you like best about the product?
We like the cashback, clean interface and ease of administration.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that we don't like but would like to see continued development work to more deeply integrate Intacct to include POs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a clean integration with Intacct, and Ramp fulfills that perfectly.
Fantastic product with continuous innovation, and amazing team
What do you like best about the product?
One-stop shop for corporate card, bill pay and expense controls. We've tested out competing products like Brex, and Ramp's the expense controls aspect is particularly impressive with a ton of options presented in a low-friction process that is highly usable for all our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
No app, but I hear Ramp is working on releasing an app in the coming months. The travel expense ability could potentially be useful, but for the moment it's not strong enough to compete with standalone travel management software in the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bill pay, corporate card and expense controls. We love Ramp's expense control management that allows for us to create expense programs and block specific merchants and merchant categories, which are functionalities that are only available in some of Ramp's competitors, but Ramp does it best.
A little confusing but it has a lot of features. My accounts love it...
What do you like best about the product?
My accounts love it, which is great for them but I'm pretty ambivalent about it. There are a ton of bells and whistles but I'm not sure what they do or why I need them.
What do you dislike about the product?
They email me a ton to try and help onboard me and set up features but I have no idea why I need them and always seem to have trouble. The emails are automatically generated so I get an auto-reply and when they finally do reply I forget what I was doing and why. It's just a weird process that doesn't really work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Beats me to be honest. Something to do with making the accounting process easier, but as a founder, it really doesn't matter too much to me.
Ramp has made payments and reimbursements easier!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it sends automatic reminders to folks for receipts and that I can create different budget rules within the system to maximize security.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides to Ramp so far! It would be great to see international capabilities, but that is it!
