Great overall expense management solution with slight improvement potentials
What do you like best about the product?
Really like the lean interface and great integration with accounting solutions like Sage Intacct. Also a plus it the capability to process reimbursements for spend which is not done on a Ramp card.
What do you dislike about the product?
The clear focus of Ramp is on managing the spend on their virtual and physical credit cards. The reimbursement function is still under development and not on par with other reimbursement solutions. E.g. you can not send back reimbursement for review to an employee to change some fields (like the memo) but he has to enter everything again if not approved. Also the travel management capability could be improved (not option to manually add trips, no option for admins to add trips,...).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Switching from a traditional card program from one of the established banks, you gain a lot of transparency and live insights into the spend + great compliance and rule based controls.
Ramp is enabling the finance function to simply manage all card related spend (+bill pay spend) in a very efficient and effective manner.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple user interface with easy navigation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes a little getting used for submitting mileage and connecting personal account for receipts. Also, there seemed to be a change to the "travel policy" from our prior platform and now my flight has been flagged for out of policy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having to take photos of all receipts is very nice.

What do you like best about the product?
The immediate text after a transaction to enter a receipt is the best thing about Ramp. It leaves little room to lose the receipt. The process of entering in account information is much easier than other applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful thing is sometimes it requires an account information that may not be necessary for the specific expense. Also, the link from the text does not redirect to the application and the browser version of the app is a little whacky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's making it seamless to enter receipts and account information making it less likely to lose receipts. It also helps me save so much time from having to sit down and do receipts at the end of the month.

It would be nice if Ramp worked with our loan operating system
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp keeps me in check with my third party ordering and receipts. That benefits the file process, and helps accounting on their end.
Exciting driver of operating efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
Seamless integration with QBO so I and bookkeeper do not have to wade through credit card statements
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far; I did submit a receipt for a hotel booking for three rooms (under one reservation confirmation which I forwarded to receipts@ramp) though Ramp kept nagging me to send the confirmations for the other two rooms (since it thought I had only submitted for one).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security (we've had a few issues with unknown purchases in the past) and operating efficiency (bookkeeping, etc.)
Ramp is extremely user friendly, easy to navigate, and has many useful features.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the reimbursement feature; It's super easy to submit reimbursements and approve/sync them on my end as an admin. I like the QuickBooks syncing feature as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes a while for transactions to process into the accounting tab fully. For example, a transaction made on 9/26/2022 might not process into accounting until 10/2/2022. It's usually not too big of an issue, but with month-end closing, I need to approve these transactions before the beginning of the following month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Employees can submit reimbursements through Ramp quickly and easily. Before this, we used Expensify for refunds, which came with a monthly cost, along with Chase Bank for our credit card spending. Now it's easier to track our credit card spending, misc expenses, and reimbursements in one application.

What do you like best about the product?
The interface and automation is really helpful. I like that my transactions go through automatically and that I can submit receipts via email and text. They prompt me vs me doing it myself
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far! One thing I might suggest is making it clear whether to sign on with SSO or your Google account. That was a bit confusing at the start since I have both.

It allows me to easily use my work from home stipend without issue. I also find it easy to use my stipend because I know I have a card readily available through ramp

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it eliminates paper transaction.
I love how easy it is!

How simple it is to send receipts. And I love the auto approve feature!

Nothing yet! We have been using about a month and so far, so good!

We now have a much easier reconciliation process with Ramp and are giving employees autonomy over their purchases. They love it!
Very user friendly programming.
What do you like best about the product?
You can review all transactions & enter info quickly. If any dispute on transactions can be done through the portal & it allows you to place your card on hold if necessary. The customer service reps are very helpful in guiding you through the system when you are new & pointing out everything possible for your use. If your admin has spending limits on the account, a simple text will be sent asking if you would like your admin to review it so that the purchase can be completed; you will be notified again via text if it was approved. Lots of good tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really can't say that there is anything I dislike about Ramp. It's easier to use than other companies I've used in the past.

Being able to enter & reconcile my spending for the company quickly.
