Ramp changed our credit card process.
What do you like best about the product?
Real time expenses synced over to our ERP. It changed our process for credit card and not only saved time for the finance department but also for our operations department.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have multi entities and it is hard to be able to allocate the costs as it's hard to predict which expense is on the statement when split out to many different locations. We have to reach out to support each month to get a report to allocate expenses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No more paper statements and matching credit card receipts and manually entering in the expenses. Saves our finance team so much time that allows us to focus on more important items.
Great experience - easy to use product with great flexibility and tools
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, easy to track, easy to deploy. We've looked at other business card solutions and they don't have half the features that Ramp does all in one place. Very easy to manage without a high learning curve
What do you dislike about the product?
The constantly changing credit limit is challenging. Because our bank balance fluctuates quite a bit throughout the month, we see our limit constantly changing. Amex, in contrast, increases your limit over time, regardless of the bank balance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's been helpful for us to create virtual cards for one time uses - this is a benefit we probably make the most use of, outside of the receipt tracking feature.
Ramp is efficient and easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that many of the purchases I make for our company are automatically recognized so I don't have to upload a receipt every single time. Our team also likes the fact that we can add as many users as we want to have a virtual card, while the people that need a physical card will have those mailed. Ramp is perfect for any team!
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't really come across anything I don't like. Ramp is so convenient and efficient and we have not seen any downsides at this point. I highly recommend Ramp!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp solves many problems for our team. We are planning our annual company retreat and with everyone having access to cards, we can have them connect their virtual cards to Uber so we will have far fewer reimbursements. It also saves leadership a lot of time figuring out who should and should not have a physical company credit card.
Hands on experience
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very simple with all the function that are required to help us scale. It's a unique way of doing expense management for us and we are glad we moved over!
What do you dislike about the product?
We just moved in from Brex and as of now, we are quite happy with the current setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Expense management all in one place.
Wildly efficient and a gamechanger in getting us organized
What do you like best about the product?
Insighta, Ramp card, setting card limits for colleagues so we no longer have to do reimbursements, love that it's easy to upload receipts and memos in emails
What do you dislike about the product?
Had some initial challenges setting up ACH payments and finding bills from contractors who sent it to email
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A centralized place to manage all of our payments to vendors and contractors. Also saves us time on reimbursements now that all colleagues have cards and limits
Great service, flexible product, lousy cards
What do you like best about the product?
The customer service is excellent, and I love being able to track all of our spending in one place. When I started using Ramp it was just for my firm, but when we realized that our portfolio company was working from 4 different cards plus reimbursements through payroll, we immediately switched them over to ramp as well. The chief of staff to the CEO answered the phone when I needed support to handle a complex banking situation and found a way for us to work together. highly recommend
What do you dislike about the product?
No app makes managing expenses on the go more difficult than it needs to be
No built-in project codes for project-driven companies (to integrate with finance on the back end and track expenses by project)
The cards are the flimsiest plastic credit cards I've seen, and they scuff and look cheap. The best solution here would be to give one high-quality card per account (do the aluminum ones like everyone is doing now), and charge a few bucks for each additional nice card that a company wants to use. Keep using the cheap cards for employees who might not need a card for long or don't use it frequently. I've even had the magnetic strip on mine fail partially. It's really frustrating.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I see all of my spending in one place and it integrates straight into my bank and my ERP. Saves at least 2-3 hours of accounting work per week!
Ramp is an efficient platform for managing business credit cards.
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Ramp is that you can reach out to their help desk anytime to resolve issues. You also have complete control over the cards connected to the account.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful to be able to download a batch of receipts at one time instead of individually finding each receipt to download. However, this is a specialized need that is not necessary for all business accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp is growing and changing at a rapid pace, and the versatility that can be used for accounting purposes is beneficial. Ramp has been very helpful in resolving disputes and alerting administrators of any issues.
So far so good
What do you like best about the product?
I am fairly new at using Ramp, but so far it seems fairly intuitive and straight forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet. It seems to have met all of the needs we have thrown at it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Free bill pay was a huge reason we switched.
Much easier to manage all of our payments!!
What do you like best about the product?
The fact of how easy it is to setup, create specific cards for each person and buying process, and control the payment process. The approval process is also interesting. The interface is great as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that I manually need to add receipts every month + the fact that the approval process is not 100% (I was able to buy something with the card, it was rejected by my boss, but it was charged anyway)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage budget and costs in general, simplify the buying and payment process, centralize payments, and give autonomy to our team so they can buy stuff - but without losing control.
Virtual cards, negotiation and other benefits
What do you like best about the product?
Two things I like the most:
1) Virtual cards - we found RAMP at the beginning of this year and figured out this is something we've been looking for.
2) Negotiation service, aka Buyer - this is just a fantastic feature.

What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't see any significant downsides. The initial onboarding was a little bit longer than I expected - but this is because we couldn't connect our bank account automatically, so we had to go with the manual way. The support team (and our sales manager) were responsive, so we resolved everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1) Virtual cards - Before, we used a single debit card linked to our account with a figure. This solution had several cons - the main is security - we pay for many services, and we are always afraid some service/product would be scammy enough to steal everything. Another thing is sometimes our card payment didn't go through (some fraud detection, no clue why). Also, we constantly forget about some services, and unsubscription takes a lot of effort/time. So we started looking for an alternative solution - and found RAMP. It's very convenient to create a separate virtual card for every service we pay - no cybersec risks (a fraud can't steal more than approved), no hassle with unsubscriptions (just closing the card), and also we can just create a new card every time there are some bugs when paying.
2) At some point, I noticed that the mailing service we have used for ages now costs us way too much. The reason was that our marketing team started doing some informational campaigns - but we pay for every email sent, even if it's not leading to more purchases by our customers. I didn't have enough time to negotiate with the service and decided to try Buyer - so basically, we spent just a couple of hours on integration, briefing (we worked with Sandra, the is super professional), and accepting the final offer, while Buyer did the rest - a month of ping-pong with the service trying to get us the best possible offer. And they did it! We're now paying less for 2.5x more emails/contacts without spending time on negotiating. I mean, this is so exciting, so I even don't understand why this exists and is available for free!
