Ramp's bill pay platform has helped save me from hours of manual billing tasks!
What do you like best about the product?
Ramp's bill pay module is my favorite part of the platform. It allows me to forward invoices from my inbox to the platform where the invoice details are scanned and populated onto the Ramp Invoice form in seconds. The invoices are then approved by the vendor owner which is a huge time saver because I previously would send invoice approval emails manually for each invoice and track an a spreadsheet the date of approval request as well as the date the invoice was actually approved. Then once the invoice was approved I would manually have to iniate the invoice payment. But with Ramp Bill Pay you are able to set the payment date when submitting the invoice for approval, so once you submit an invoice your work is done! Bill pay has literally saved me countless hours of manual tedious work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish you were able to customize the approval work flows in Ramp for specific situations. There is just 1 vendor approver for each vendor, and we have a few vendors that different departments work with, so we have to get a manual approval for certain invoices in this case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp is expediting our T&E manual processes as well as our bill pay processes.
Works great for small business!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to manage individual virtual cards easily and real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if the cardholder name didn't always populate in the description of a transaction when it is imported into QBO.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we want to do a free lunch for our virtual employees we can easily just send them a virtual card with limits already in place.

You can't edit reinbursements once they are entered, they have to be redone.

Ramp - Credit Card Expenses + More

- Approver management and dual approvers works really well
- Automated e-mail reminders to users/approvers
- Excellent exporting to QBO
- Usage of "Class" field in QBO to subcategorize expenses
- Approver management and dual approvers works really well
- Automated e-mail reminders to users/approvers
What do you dislike about the product?
- Need export feature, to at least spreadsheet format, of different views/filters of transaction state under Accounting/Ramp Card
- Need column added with Approver under "Needs Review" view/filter under Accounting/Ramp Card
- Need column added with Approver under "Needs Review" view/filter under Accounting/Ramp Card
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Usage of "Class" field in QBO to subcategorize expenses (prior to using Ramp we used Zoho and the inability to link up with the QBO class field was horrible to not have)
Ramp has been a game-changer for our business credit card expenses and reporting!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Ramp combines the credit card with expense reporting so everything is consolidated in one place. It has also helped that our credit limit(s) are based on our checking account balances and do not have to be tied to one individual's credit history. We were able to quadruple our purchasing power when we switched to Ramp from a main stream credit card company. We also love that we earn cash instead of points as we are able to apply it to our balance and reduces our monthly payment. I love the fact that when we reach 80% of our credit limit, we can set Ramp up to automatically pay down our balance so we never run out of available credit.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did find it interesting that Ramp did not have an app until recently. I do not like the fact that when splitting a charge, I can't tab between fields - I have to move my mouse and click. I am very much a keyboard shortcut person. Other than that, there are not a lot of things that I dislike about Ramp.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp has helped us solve missing receipt issues. Employees/cardholders can text a photo to Ramp and it is automatically attached to the charge! And since the credit card is through Ramp, the transactions show up immediately as opposed to waiting for it to clear the credit card company before showing up in our previous expenese reporting software.
Ramp helped out my small business after Brex dumped me for being too small.
What do you like best about the product?
Tyler at Ramp was very helpful. He walked me through the application process and helped me think through ways to meet the liquidity requirements that can be a challenge for a small business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything negative to say about Ramp.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp allows me to consolidate all of my business spending into a single location which saves me a lot of time. I appreciate the multiple ways in which you can submit receipts for purchases.
Easy Peasy
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to create different cards for different vendors, it makes it easy in case of misuse or overcharges from a vendor to shut down the card, and not have to give a new card number to everyone! In addition to managing spend and budgets. Great parameters in the app
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there should be a more rapid option to create ramp cards, it is not as rapid as some of the competitors. The display under My cards in My Ramp could look better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping manage individual employee spend, knowing how much per vendor, overall company spend, all of this with added layers of safety and fraud prevention because of all the controls available for the cards
Great Spend Management Software with Clean UI
What do you like best about the product?
Ramp has saved us a ton of time and jumpstarted our expense management. Integration with our accounting software and account rules has also saved us a ton of time on the bookkeeping side.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is specific to our Company situation but Ramp's Bill Pay is not rolled out where we're based (Texas). This is supposed to roll out by end of year so we're looking forward to that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving us time on the administrative side of the business so we can continue to focus on building the business. Also, our sales team has reduced time tracking expenses, etc.
