Ramp - Credit Card Expenses + More
What do you like best about the product?
- Easy group/user management
- Excellent exporting to QBO
- Usage of "Class" field in QBO to subcategorize expenses
- Approver management and dual approvers works really well
- Automated e-mail reminders to users/approvers

What do you dislike about the product?
- Need export feature, to at least spreadsheet format, of different views/filters of transaction state under Accounting/Ramp Card
- Need column added with Approver under "Needs Review" view/filter under Accounting/Ramp Card

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Usage of "Class" field in QBO to subcategorize expenses (prior to using Ramp we used Zoho and the inability to link up with the QBO class field was horrible to not have)
Ramp has been a game-changer for our business credit card expenses and reporting!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Ramp combines the credit card with expense reporting so everything is consolidated in one place. It has also helped that our credit limit(s) are based on our checking account balances and do not have to be tied to one individual's credit history. We were able to quadruple our purchasing power when we switched to Ramp from a main stream credit card company. We also love that we earn cash instead of points as we are able to apply it to our balance and reduces our monthly payment. I love the fact that when we reach 80% of our credit limit, we can set Ramp up to automatically pay down our balance so we never run out of available credit.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did find it interesting that Ramp did not have an app until recently. I do not like the fact that when splitting a charge, I can't tab between fields - I have to move my mouse and click. I am very much a keyboard shortcut person. Other than that, there are not a lot of things that I dislike about Ramp.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp has helped us solve missing receipt issues. Employees/cardholders can text a photo to Ramp and it is automatically attached to the charge! And since the credit card is through Ramp, the transactions show up immediately as opposed to waiting for it to clear the credit card company before showing up in our previous expenese reporting software.
Ramp helped out my small business after Brex dumped me for being too small.
What do you like best about the product?
Tyler at Ramp was very helpful. He walked me through the application process and helped me think through ways to meet the liquidity requirements that can be a challenge for a small business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything negative to say about Ramp.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp allows me to consolidate all of my business spending into a single location which saves me a lot of time. I appreciate the multiple ways in which you can submit receipts for purchases.
Easy Peasy
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to create different cards for different vendors, it makes it easy in case of misuse or overcharges from a vendor to shut down the card, and not have to give a new card number to everyone! In addition to managing spend and budgets. Great parameters in the app
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there should be a more rapid option to create ramp cards, it is not as rapid as some of the competitors. The display under My cards in My Ramp could look better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping manage individual employee spend, knowing how much per vendor, overall company spend, all of this with added layers of safety and fraud prevention because of all the controls available for the cards
Great Spend Management Software with Clean UI
What do you like best about the product?
Ramp has saved us a ton of time and jumpstarted our expense management. Integration with our accounting software and account rules has also saved us a ton of time on the bookkeeping side.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is specific to our Company situation but Ramp's Bill Pay is not rolled out where we're based (Texas). This is supposed to roll out by end of year so we're looking forward to that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving us time on the administrative side of the business so we can continue to focus on building the business. Also, our sales team has reduced time tracking expenses, etc.
A better way for Business CC management
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to auto-populate recipes and submit immediately instead of submitting 'reports.' Also love the virtual cards you can create for specific expense categories and keep those separate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exception process is just to contact the approver.

Expense and reimbursement management
Tremendous flexibility for all stages of businesses
What do you like best about the product?
Ramp makes it easy to not only create a lot of flexible expense rules and cards, but also simplified tracking of spending and monitoring increased usage. Much more extensible than other companies we've used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially setting up ramp can be a bit confusing. It's not clear what other users have access to and can see. It would be great to be understand approval flows from different perspectives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a hardware company, tracking various expenses across our employees can be very difficult-- ramp makes it a lot easier to understand where the spend is going across the business.

Ramp is seamless and extremely helpful for bigger companies. It is easy to submit receipts and memos. Ramp has customized a lot for us as well to streamline our process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would say I dislike is that ramp can get the pictures of the receipts mixed with the wrong transactions sometimes as well as the memo's, however, those are easy fixes on our end.

They created an app, which will help our team keep up with their receipts and memos and easily see when they are missing items.
Great financial services platform!
What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to create virtual cards to segment spending for various conferences and events. Everyone on the team loves the easy submitting for reimbursements and the bill pay feature is really easy to use as well. Earning cash back without paying fees is always a win in my book. I've used other platforms that are similar and this is by far my favorite.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only downside has been a recent email mishap where they emailed all my past vendors stating we were going to be paying them again (this was in error) and we momentarily freaked out thinking they were getting double paid. But they quickly emailed out and made it right, which I appreciate!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp has solved our employee credit card problem - I can now issue cards to everyone, both physical and virtual, with just a few clicks and they mail the card directly to the employee - it couldn't be simpler.

Nothing really. It saves me time and paper.

The ability to do online reporting and alleviates the mess of keeping up with receipts.
