Ramp is my favorite product for accounting, ever
What do you like best about the product?
I believe that simple and effective is the gold standard, and Ramp is both simple and highly effective. Everything about the credit card program is superb. They are building out features to become better than bill.com. They are leaps and bound better than Expensify. They are better than Brex. I will use Ramp at every company I ever work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much to dislike at the moment. I have made suggestions to their customer service team and I've seen them implemented. Over time I think Ramp will expand their offerings and be even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Credit card program was a must for us, as we have lots of travel. Credit cards are simple to set up. The data is all easy to access (especially if you've used archaic systems from the old-school banks). It's all just quite simple.
Also I had applied to Brex and was denied for "no reason." Ramp I was set up within minutes.

What do you like best about the product?
The software is very helpful and easy to use. My favorite component is the ability to text the receipts and memos immediately following a purchase. My second favorite aspect is the ease of transfer from Ramp to Quickbooks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were easier to submit memos when you make multiple purchases back to back if you forget to submit the earlier one. The receipts automatically match to the transaction, but the memos get confused on which one goes where.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp has solved the issue of getting receipts from our employees for their credit card transactions. It helps the job costing go smoother as we have the receipt and the accurate memo/job name for each transaction.
Great way to manage expense administration
What do you like best about the product?
Text immediately upon purchase requesting receipt.
What do you dislike about the product?
No app to code the transactions on my cell phone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Receipt management, expense reporting, and spending control. Our receipt capture has increased significantly and month end close for our firm has sped up exponentially.
Management of account is a breeze!
What do you like best about the product?
The text ability to upload receipts and the dashboard for incredibly easy visibility across the entire platform. The ability to lock out the cards without going through several steps. Everything is right there.
What do you dislike about the product?
When a credit is issued, the system doesn't count that toward the total day/monthly spenditure. I would like to see that credit count as a negative against the total spend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We moved from Concur, which was a burdensome way of processing reports. The lack of ability to upload via text, select the monthly receipts, and move it to a report - the process with Concur was slow and time-consuming.
It was super quick intuitive and easy

I like best that it found my receipt for me and prompted me to put a memo

Nothing, It was easier than i even expected.

It is solving the issue that we all had different debit cards

I like the ability to manage card holders charges and the ease of submitting receipts

I did not like the implementation and alot of the solutions were not completed yet, such as bill pay. Would like to have an android App

It makes it much easier for card holders to submit receipts and allows accounting to put holds or look for managers to review charges
Super smooth way to spend & track expenses for my fund.
What do you like best about the product?
I need to spend $ on T&E and send money to my portfolio companies (for when we invest) – my bank's "Send a Wire" portal is miserably bad, so being able to both track misc spend (like flights, paying lawyers, etc.) and invest in companies from one portal is a gamechanger. My auditors are going to love that everything's in one place, vs having to jump between my CC statements, reimbursements, and wires all on different systems every year. I hope they give me a discount.
What do you dislike about the product?
First-time vendors on Bill Pay take 5 days to receive the $, vs. same-day if I do it through my normal bank portal. Was tough to find how to claim my cashback that I'd earned on my card spend, their FAQ bot had to show me where to find it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed to be able to spend money, wire dollars, and track reimbursements/receipts all in one place. My bank account doesn't even offer a debit card to spend out of my balance – Ramp solved all of those for free .
Best AP Choice for Small Business
What do you like best about the product?
We used to use Brex, but switched over to Ramp and it makes our accountant's job much easier. Ramp will auto-withdraw all funds you charged after the end of the month. They will automatically sync with your Quickbooks or any accounting software from my understanding. I highly recommend checking out Ramp and joining if you qualify. The best part is the 1.5% rewards.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could schedule the payment, which wasn't automatically dedicated; however, the minor inconvenience is entirely worth it. Other than that, I don't have any complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are helping us make our accountant's job easier, reducing our accountant's bill. While our accountant is happier about less work, she's probably not happy about billing out less.
All-Around Impressive
What do you like best about the product?
I continue to be impressed by Ramp day after day. Their platform has the most innovative & advanced functionalities, which make my life and job much easier. I'm obsessed with the fact that Ramp can automatically recognize and pull receipts from my email account, and they auto-link them for me.
I'm excited to dig deeper into their Bill Pay feature next, which I was very impressed with during the introductory meeting. It's pretty wild that they can offer these services for free, since I currently have to pay another application to do the same thing.

Honestly I have yet to find anything I dislike about Ramp.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp is taking care of tasks that were previously wasting my time. I previously had to track down receipts, download them and then manually upload/attach them. NOW I don't have to do any of that, because Ramp has automated that for me!
Ramp is very helpful for keeping track of credit card transactions!

I like the sync with Quickbooks and ease of access for updating transaction details to keep in compliance with our expense policy

I think the expense policy settings could be more helpful as far as customization

Ramp is supporting our bookkeeping and it saves time so our finance team can focus on other strategic initiatives to drive growth
