Great credit card spend platform

What do you like best about the product?
It integrates with finance systems. Does away with the need for expense reporting. I love the new reimbursement function

Lead time for physical cards could shorter
I wish the bill pay function linked to POs and NetSuite

Ramp has been great for our small business

What do you like best about the product?
Improves accountability of team members for purchases. It has greatly reduced the time for closing our books each month. All of the receipts and memos are captured immediately so we don't need to track this information down when reconciling our accounts each month.
What do you dislike about the product?
This isn't the fault of Ramp, but our accounting software (Design Manager) doesn't enable imports of journal entries so we haven't been able to automate the process as much as we like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp has been able to resolve almost all of our problems that we had when we were using AMEX for all company transact. There have been a few minor items that I've suggested adding to Ramp's functionality and our account rep said they'd work on, but the items are so small that I can't remember off the top of my head.

Ramp has cut down our close time by at least 50% just in the first few months. I'm sure we'll be able to cut down even more as we get more familiar with Ramp and the process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It makes expense management much easier and will significantly cut down on monthly close time.

Perfect for scaling startups

What do you like best about the product?
Hands down, the best feature of Ramp is how reconciliation is done in Ramp not in QBO. This feature alone is worth switching to Ramp over. Brex on the other hand syncs in a similar way to Aemx.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ability to share department-level cards. At first, we may have set Ramp up incorrectly as we created department cards. We then realized these department cards could not be shared across members of our team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amex doesn't offer robust employee card management software making it difficult to manage.

We're also using Ramp's bill-pay feature which has helped streamline a ton.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Avoid the mistake of creating department cards and simply issue cards to employees who need them.

Fast and Easy to Use - Helped us as we scaled our team

What do you like best about the product?
We were able to get up and running very quickly. This is important to us as we are scaling our team and have outgrown our expense management and accounting processes - we needed a solution ASAP. Our people particularly like how fast it is to make purchases, log expenses, and approve requests.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had very little trouble so far. There were a few integrations that didn't work seamlessly for us, but for the most part they have been excellent and any issues were minor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Ramp, we've enabled our people to make purchases as our team continues to grow.

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to email receipts and text receipts into the platform. Way simpler than other platforms

nothing yet. This product is crushing it and its been great

Impressive features and easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
I just started testing Ramp and within minutes was able to set up the account, create several virtual cards, sets account, vendor and financial controls. Super easy to get started and take back control of your card spends.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've not had any downsides at this point with Ramp. Virtual cards do have inherent limitations but this is not associated to Ramp. When a physical card is needed, I wish there was an expedited feature to get one fast.

I wish it integrated with Teams (in addition to Slack)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We will move to create virtual cards for specific vendors. This will enhance our reporting features, reduce the potential for fraud and create a simplified process for our staff and account teams. The onboarding feature will be helpful to issue cards as we spexpsnd our team.

Fabulous functionality and service!

What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of convenient features that make our accounting processes more efficient and organized. The customer service is also fantastic! Adam from the customer service team helped our team a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have much criticism. I was not part of the original onboarding process so I can't speak to that but I will say that the tutorial call I scheduled with Adam was very helpful so if this is not already included in onboarding, it should be added!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved a lot of our billing, reimbursements, accounting issues with Ramp. We gave all of our team members a company card which makes it very easy to make company expenses.

A great concept and tool, especially for small and/or growing businesses

What do you like best about the product?
Very granular control over issuing credit cards on our timeline, and control who, when, how much, which vendors etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow log in. Can't create a one-time card and have the bookkeeper use it to make the actual payment. On reimbursements can't enter the job on initial entry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to issue credit cards and control them. Expense management and keeping necessary receipts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
With this kind of service where they not only don't charge you but give you 1.5% back on credit card spend, it's a no-brainer to deploy this in your business.

What do you like best about the product?
Receipt matching is the best part about ramp.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to make cards as quickly as I can. There are some glitches when wanting to create a new one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving major receipt issues. Now with Ramp it is easier to keep track of everything.

I use it to submit the digital receipt and get my reimbursement. This process on Ramp is really fast and easy!
