What do you like best about the product?
I currently use Ramp for 4 different companies. The experience has been really great, particularly with the syncing with Quickbooks and the instant texts for users to take a picture of receipts and add brief description of charges. Super easy to use and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any complaints, although I would prefer that it didn't require me to re-link the account to my bank account so frequently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting people to submit receipts and discriptions of charges.

What do you like best about the product?
Ramp has been the best thing for our business since sliced bread. It makes life so easy to report transactions and capture receipts. Also issuing cards to new employees could not be easier
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I haven't found much that we dislike about Ramp. I wish we could customize the cards more to match our branding as a company but that's small things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Credit Card Reconciliation

Ramp review

  • August 23, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Convenience, easy of use and integration into our ecosystem of software tools. Integration into our accounting software tools as well which automates our entire accounts payable accounting process. Extremely efficient to use and saves a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited options for business travel and lower net cash benfit rebates versus other cards. Also, less partner benefit promotions. However, right now the time savings is the benefit, plus we use the cash back on our spending to lower our monthly credit card bills.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our finance and accounting manager retired and this platform as fulfilled the need of expense management

What do you dislike about the product?
I have a long list of cards to keep track of - reminders to archive/delete after no use would be helpful

Great Platform!

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that we can create virtual cards on the fly for special purposes. We can give a person a physical card and they can create virtual cards for special projects. I also love the fact that Ramp enforces loading receipts. We used to spend a lot of time trying to get people to send in their receipts. It integrates well with QuickBooks online. We will be upgrading to Ramp + in the near future when we switch to Sage. The cashback feature is great, no points to mess with, just a cash refund!
What do you dislike about the product?
When paying people with ACH we have to click Payment type each time we make a payment. This is not stored in the vendor record so it adds a lot of keystrokes and prevents the payments being processed as a batch.
Sometimes the period between the charge and payment date can be short. All payments are processed on the same date whether the charge was made recently or 30 days ago. The float on our other credit cards is longer. We feel that the cash back and ease of setting up cards more than offsets this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Expense management, AP automatin is not quite there yet.

Great automation features, but slowly getting bloated

  • August 23, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Automations and intuitive design is a big strength. It is easy to use and there are delightful moments.
What do you dislike about the product?
The application is starting to get bloated and there is a dip in quality. . I am starting to experience bugs that are frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No one wants to deal heavily with expense management. It not being there is the best.

I didn't realize how much time and complexity could be saved so easily

  • August 23, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Everything is on auto-pilot. You just buy something with your card and then respond to the text requesting a picture of the receipt and a description--you don't have to save your receipts, scan them later, get way behind on reimbursements and dread doing them or any of that. And then it prompts the accounting person to code it for QuickBooks and then syncs and it just magically shows up in QuickBooks. This also makes the end-of-month credit card reconciliation a non-event because everything is already there.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hesitate to say this because it might be possible and I just don't know how to do it --- but we have multiple bank accounts and it would be nice to be able to specify which bank account a specific transaction should get charged to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compliance with expense policy. We get way more receipts submitted than we used to, way more timely, and we don't have to chase people around like we used to.
