Great tool for offering cards and managing spend
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to set up individual virtual cards for specific SaaS spend / vendors
What do you dislike about the product?
It has been a great tool for corporate cards and managing our spend. No real complaints as of yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is super easy for us to onboard new employees and get them virtual cards. We have very high receipt submission as well due to the automated emails sent after purchases are made!
Ramp is the best hands down.
What do you like best about the product?
The most simple, unique and advanced corporate card there is! Super integrated with every platform and SAAS. Soooo easy to ad and set up digital and physical cards for employees. Set spending limits and set transaction details. Integrates super well with Zeni, and Quickbooks for daily bookkeeping. EVERYTHING is instant. And you get 1.5% cashback on ALL purchases. We've moved every spend to Ramp. It's unreal.
What do you dislike about the product?
I only thing I wish was better was a higher credit limit. Currently, they give 10% of bank cash credit. Wish it was more around 25%-%50.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of use. Record/bookkeeping records. To distributing digital and physical cards to employees. THE BEST!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Recommend this card for everyone with a small to mid size business that has employees.
Amex beware....
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, excellent customer support. Flexibility
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything that would make me dislike it so far
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are simplifying expense accounting and coordination—security for each transaction.
The best onboarding experience and 10x better than other options
What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy. Truly easy. It is easy to set up, easier for our employees - I was able to use a virtual card in the first hour of approving and verifying my account.
I'd recommend very highly above all other credit card options - AND above all expensing solutions.
I'd recommend very highly above all other credit card options - AND above all expensing solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides. Just use Ramp. It's awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving expense policy implementation and management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just do it!
Ramp is like Brex BUT BETTER
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of generating new cards, centralized management, receipt uploads. The list goes on!
What do you dislike about the product?
If you miss a receipt upload immediately after the purchase, sometimes it's hard to find the correct receipt. Especially when you are buying similar products over and over again
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Issuing cards to department and management spend in a modern way. Sorry not sorry banks (wells...)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Receipt management. Maybe some spend management tips for teams.
Ramp is very easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part is the prompt to send receipts and Ramp's ability to match the receipts to the transactions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I haven't found a dislike yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Timely and accurate expense reporting. We realize an excellent savings by virtue of the cashback feature.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The product is simple to understand and simple to use. It makes managing expense reporting a breeze.
Incredibly easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
Insights, controls, and easy receipts. Incredibly easy. As CEO I obviously like the insights and controls, but actually just used it myself for the first time to process an expense. I was amazed at how easy it is for the employees themselves -- which is obviously the key to driving adoption.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't really found anything I particularly dislike. Far superior to regular credit cards. Slightly less cash back than some business credit cards, but that's WAY offset by the advantages in control and back office insights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enabling employees to exercise good judgement without onerous approval processes but still retaining the ability to control spending within specified bounds.
Awesome Expense Software!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the integration with Quickbooks Online and how easy it is to pull in our chart of accounts and customer accounts and then sync transactions to Quickbooks Online at the end of the month. I also like the ability to have virtual credit cards as employees can lose theirs, or it's not uncommon for fraudulent charges to happen, sometimes twice per year. The ability to cancel a virtual card and reissue one within minutes is crucial and impressive to us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike some aspects of the user interface, for example, having to scroll to the top of a transaction and hit the "x" to get out and go back to all transactions. It would be easier if just an "x" on the bottom so I don't waste my time scrolling. I also don't like how it's somewhat difficult to figure out difficult to download all expenses without exporting them to Quickbooks Online as sometimes I would prefer to review all transactions before syncing them to our accounting software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I mentioned in a previous response, we like the ability to cancel a virtual card and reissue one within moments, as we do often fall prey to fraudulent charges. We are also very excited about their Rippling integration as that is who we use for payroll and all hr functions. Additionally, Ramp gives us some great cash back on all purchases and we feel that most other virtual credit card companies do not offer the same cash back benefits.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do your research to make sure that Ramp meets all of your needs, from virtual cards, to physical cards, to expense reimbursement. There are a lot of options out there, so I recommend really taking the time to make sure that Ramp will suit you and your company's needs from the first day you start with Ramp to years down the road. We like that we'll be able to "ramp" up our employee count and successfully help our accountants do their jobs better with Quickbooks Online as well.
Helpful and User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like they you can track each employee's transaction so you know exactly what is going on in the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lower monthly limit than a regular credit card.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp creates a checks and balances system when it comes to cash flow.
The Best Piece of Software I've Seen in Awhile
What do you like best about the product?
They've thought of everything, but the highest-rated thing from our team is the ability to text a receipt. In addition, I struggled with other credit cards to get a calendar month-end, but Ramp was able to edit our statement date to be a date that works for our business (calendar month-end). Their customer support is incredibly responsive. Honestly, the UI and UX are just seamless, and I'm usually quite critical of any finance-linked software.
What do you dislike about the product?
One minor point (not very material), at this point, I can't see all of the receipts that haven't been auto-matched. For example, an employee will tell me they did submit a receipt, but it didn't match, and they don't feel like they want to upload it themselves. It would be nice to see a 'receipt graveyard' so my admin team can come in behind the scenes and gather the receipts. I've suggested this to Ramp, and they are looking into it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real-time visibility into corporate spending! No more waiting for my employees to submit expense reports; I see the moment they swipe in a singular dashboard. I can quickly get all my CC transactions in that day. It's sped up our month-end close and increased visibility.
