Ramp is perfect for my startup
What do you like best about the product?
Adding virtual card is very straight forwards an easy to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they allowed us to use AzureAD for authentication/Single Sign On. We get by with Google login (which uses AzureAD for Single Sign On) but it is not how we like to do things around here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using ramp to increase our security and stability. All SaaS vendors get their own credit card. If any one gets hacked it will not affect our ability to pay our other SaaS vendors.
Ramp Saves Me Time and Gives Me Free Money
What do you like best about the product?
As a founder, Ramp saves me a lot of time. I can easily spin up cards for one-time use, SaaS subscriptions and payments to vendors, as well as card programs for things like remote setups and perks/benefits. It syncs with QuickBooks, so spend management and accounting are a breeze. The 1.5% cash back across the board is great and adds up over time. Lastly, they point out vendors that they're partnered with for credits and discounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't had any issues so far. Notifications can get a bit annoying but you can change your preferences
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Spend management is the main problem I'm solving. I've realized a lot of time saved as well as money back through partner discounts and cashback.
Easy to use and great support
What do you like best about the product?
great that you can add multiple cards for differenet uses and spending limits. ease of submitting a receipt .
What do you dislike about the product?
once cards are maxed out they should be removed from the home the screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
spenidng limits.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
much better than traditional credit cards
Ramp is the easiest decision for an early stage company!
What do you like best about the product?
Straightforward onboarding, simple yet robust tooling, helpful alerting on spend across the company and insight management
What do you dislike about the product?
Not connected with all accounting platforms (e.g. we use Bench and there's no direct connection)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Expense management and automated alerting across spend for the company
Recommendations to others considering the product:
No brainer - must-have part of any growing company's core infrastructure
A Business Card that Delivers
What do you like best about the product?
Receipt matching & accounting integration
What do you dislike about the product?
Had a little difficulty adding our bank account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collecting receipts has always been a headache. Also, the ability to restrict vendors or certain types of transactions is hugely beneficial.
Where has Ramp been all my life
What do you like best about the product?
Can easily give each team member a credit card, seamless receipt tracking process
What do you dislike about the product?
If one card is on file for ops expenses across the org, only one team member gets the email alert that a receipt is needed. That team member has to remind others to send receipts to ramp
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Each team member can manage their own corporate card virtually or get a physical card sent. Can take pictures or forward emailed receipts to receipts@ramp. Takes the burden out of tracking expenses
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for remote teams
Saves me so much time. It really works and adds value immediately.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it collects receipts and manages payments across my team. I was using one debit card and sharing it with my team, and that got complicated quickly. Ramp is what I was looking for, and I can see many other potentially great features that we aren't even touching yet.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of one. My whole team loves it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My first problem was trying to reconcile receipts and categorize transactions appropriately for our grant funding reporting. Ramp allowed this to happen in real-time and distribute the workload across the team. Second I wanted security and better controls overspending. Our team is growing, and one debit card with access to our complete account was pretty scary, even though I trust my team. Ramp gave immediate insights into spending and unleased the team to do better work faster.
Saves Time and Money
What do you like best about the product?
The linkage to quickbooks. This helps with accounting and speeds up the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love the Amazon business integration, I would like to see a personal Amazon integration as well
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time and resource evaluation.
Ramp is the ideal solution for an upstart like ours
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to pay for supplies, equipment and services needed to operate our business in one dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Based on the funding to be approved the starting balance was slightly below our expected monthly bills.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp makes it easy to require employees attach receipts and memos to each expense. 1.5% cash back almost makes paying bills fun.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use Ramp, it makes closing out the books a breeze.
So easy to use, makes work easier rather than adding a thousand complications.
What do you like best about the product?
Everything is explained really well and it's easy to use. The onboarding is very easy, and it feels like managing expenses + having ways to pay for things is just on autopilot now.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more perks like traditional credit cards - e.g. travel insurance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Ramp to provide some of our employee benefits as a stipend, to give managers cards to pay for software/experiments they want to run, and for tracking company-wide spend.
