Expenses and Bills done RIGHT

What do you like best about the product?
Ramp's tech is modern, efficient, and effective. Even their API and docs follow modern best practices. Onboarding was easy, and we're using Ramp every day to complete our bookkeeping and expense tracking!
What do you dislike about the product?
If asked a week ago, I would have said 'the linked business account we have with ramp doesn't integrate with our accounting system in the same way our credit cards do.'
But I was on a call with a Ramp project manager within a day to express this problem and a solution is in the works. So... Nothing at the moment!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp allows us to keep spend organzied across a large organization and control a large volume accounts payable inbox for vendors.

What do you like best about the product?
That it's uses are so comprehensive and the support is fantastic! We were able to go from using mutliple platforms for bank accounts, bill pay, employee reimbursements, company card mangeetn to just using Ramp! Any questions or issues we ran into along the way were very quickly responded to and resolved. It's never been so easy to pay invoices, with their forwarding feature, issuing virtual cards has been a GAME CHANGER - so.easy! Honestly, not a day goes by that we are not using this platform to its full extent.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is a hard question to answer - there is next to nothing that is difficult about using Ramp! The only thing I've noticed is that sometimes there are brief hiccups with the automation of the connected accounts and the statement uploading process (working around platforms that use tokens, etc.) but nothing that interferes with productivity or payments being made!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking and managing spend/expenses as well as simpliyfing our Bill Pay process.

What do you like best about the product?
Ramp is easy to use, provides fast information when transactions occur, provides great reporting and data analysis, and helps control costs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The web and mobile apps change frequently... while many times these are improvements, sometimes it is hard to keep up with what changes have been made and then finding where things got moved to. Also, the chat bot online support is typically not very helpful and we have to get our information through support tickets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real-time information on expenses has been helpful to monitor and manage spend and confirm compliance with our policies.

What do you like best about the product?
absolutely love the Ramp credit card! It makes issuing cards and managing spends incredibly easy. The seamless integration with accounting software simplifies the entire process, making it way easier to track expenses. Ramp truly streamlines financial management for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing at all that I do not like.

We are able to get a handle on expenses and see where money is going.

What do you like best about the product?
Ramp's bill pay is superior because it's natively integrated with all the payment methods including ach, check, wire, credit card. This means 99% of my bills are in one app.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the credit card payment has a grace period like other cards

It's not a true credit card as we originally understood it so it was a huge cash drain in a time when we needed to preserve.

Ramp is exactly what we needed for our start-up business

What do you like best about the product?
Ramp is easy to use to pay our affiliates and influencers. This is important since we pay our affiliates every week and we are constantly paying our influencers. We use PayPal for paying many of our affiliates but some people don't want to use PayPal and some international affiliates can't use PayPal in their country. It's easy to set up a new affiliate payment by creating a new vendor. We don't even need to have the affiliate's bank info because we can have Ramp request it directly from the affiliate. International payments are just as easy to set up. We have used Wise for some international payments since their international fee is negligible, but several affiliates had issues getting Wise set up to receive U.S. payments. Once the vendor is created it's easy to make additional payments as needed.

Our business credit cards are also through Ramp; we even earn cash back on purchases. With everything in one place and divided into categories, Ramp reports easily let us see where we are spending the most and compare to previous months.

We don't need customer support very often as most things are straightforward for what we are using. The occasional time we did have a question Ramp responded almost immediately and answered our questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are charged a $20 wire fee for each international payment. This price is consistent with our bank's fee but It would be nice if Ramp charged the same $4.99 as PayPal. It would also be nice if Ramp offered instant payments like PayPal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making payments, managing credit cards and credit card payments, and tracking expenses are the main reasons we went with Ramp. Ramp interfaces with our bank account so everything is automated and easy.

A dream solution for nonprofits

What do you like best about the product?
I first sought out Ramp as a solution to the problem most nonprofits have with getting a credit card. Ramp has also managed to replace bill.com, give us more control over budgeting and staff reimbursements, and do it all for free. What more could you ask for?
What do you dislike about the product?
Some reporting is not yet as handy in Ramp as in other competitors, but I have hope that this will be addressed as some things are already better than they were when we first started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp allows me to give autonomy to teams over certain spend categories, and let's us automate many AP functions to save staff time.

What do you like best about the product?
With Ramp AP process has become much easier, everything is in one place such as invoices, POs linked and details of invoices.
You can make a comment directly to someone instead of sending emails.

Reimbursement and credit card transactions has become efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I don't like is that there is no way to do payments in batches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AP automation- data entry and invoices are available instantly in Ramp to review and route.

What do you like best about the product?
Ramp cards are extremely easy to set up & use, with a great selection of reporting filters and flexibity. The hierarchy in authorizations is great, the ability to submit receipts on the spot or have them auto submitted through Gmail or Amazon is fantastic, as is the ability to code them into the General Ledger on the spot. The community forum just started but is good, and the customer service is fantastic. Can't say enough good things about this card.
What do you dislike about the product?
The payment on your statement is made the day after the statement closes, so there is no floating the balance for 21 days. I actually like this feature but some companies may not. Their download doesn't currently work with my accounting system, but they have a general csv. file that I can work with, and they are currently developing a customizeable export which will make it extremely easy to customize it to any system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The first problem was finding a charge card that did not require a personal guarantor. Ramp pegs the credit amount to the companies actual cash, so it works very well for us. Missing receipts had always been an issue, but with each cardholder being able to see what is missing and getting notifications about it has made it much more rare. Credit card entry had always been slightly more difficult with our accounting system, but being able to enter them in batches with the general ledger coding has been great, and having all of the receipts available for viewing is amazingly helpful. I also appreciate the spend controls that can be customized by card, not only limiting to a certain dollar amount but being able to refresh that amount in different increments (daily, weekly, monthly).
