Life Saver! Immediate value for HR, Finance, Accounting, Ops

What do you like best about the product?
I like the following feature the best:
- Digital cards: we issued our employees digital cards for our last offsite that had their per diem already included which meant not having to deal with hours worth of reimbursements.
- Spend program: we use their spend program for our marketing spend, very easy to create an approval structure and rules.
- Bill payment: We use bill payment very often within our org for multiple vendors for both international and domestic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Quickbooks Integration: The QB integration is strong, but it could be better. Particularly with reimbursements -- Ramp's philosophy is that when a company decides to trigger the reimbursement that is now the "Bill Date" aka the day/month the transaction gets recorded in Ramp. We however, recognize that the date the user purchased the good is the Bill date not the other way around -- however there is no way to customize this logic and creates extra work for me when handling reimbursements.

Customer Service: Also good, but not great -- they have gotten back to me at odd times when I'm not working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp is solving Software management costs, reimbursements, vendor management and at times payroll. This is huge for us since we are a small start up, Ramp is acting as additional headcount.

Loving Ramp so far!

What do you like best about the product?
We enjoy the 1.5% cash back, as well as the mobile feature and easy accounting functions. We have yet to start Bill Pay but we love it so far! And our implementation lead is always availabe when we need her, as well as support. I they can't answert your question then accounting or our lead can.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not supre intuitive, although it appears t obe when yo ufirst start using it - but watch out small businesses! haha, it is quite sophistocatred, and as such you must have a basic knowledge of accounting. But still great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making gas receipts from our employees easier, syncing to our accounting software

Ramp - a streamlined user friendly tool

What do you like best about the product?
I love the user experience when using Ramp. It is very straightforward with logical placement of everything I need. It is also a one-stop shop for everything we need which has allowed us to simplify. AND Ramp integrates into our accounting software like a dream - we can reconcile everything in Ramp and it syncs over done. Love that.
What do you dislike about the product?
A minor issue but when using bill pay you cannot have vendors directly email their invoices to the Ramp provided email address. You can set up an automatic forwarding system but it was nice to have a separate email for invoices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp is helping us eliminate more costly softwares - we went from three separate systems down to one.

What do you like best about the product?
Bill pay feature is neat, and easy to integrate with your accounting ERP. the workflow approval is a great feature as well.

i wish they could be more flexible on the credit card limits.

Best in the Market

What do you like best about the product?
Ramp does automatially and nearly instantaneously what a team of 3 accountant / admins used to do. It's easy to set up and integrate with exisiting accounting software (have used QBO and Net Suite). Bill Pay and Credit Cards rules make it easy to auto-categorize transactions to the right GL code and department / class and the financial controls, approvals, and alerts give real-time spend control. Customer support is responsive and significantly better than Brex (as of Q4 2023).
What do you dislike about the product?
I think my only request would be to have reimbursements automatically split if there are multiple transactions on the same day. But it isn't much of an issue since everyone can get a CC quite easuly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The manual process of weekly ap / approvals happens almost instantaneously. No longer chasing down reciepts for when someone borrowed a credit card. Ramp gives speed, flexiblity, and tight financial controls all at the same time.

Great spending controls for any size company

What do you like best about the product?
Ramp is very easy to use, our bookkeeper recommends it to all of her clients now. For us it keeps all of our receipts in the same place and makes it easy to turn on and off credit limits.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I see is the Cash Back system is 100% limited to statement credits. This brings up a tax grey area that points do not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving all of our team the ability to access company funds but still provide controls and automated receipt capture.

What do you like best about the product?
Very user friendly so whole team understands their expenses. Makes keeping track of everything daily very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a nonprofit I think Ramp is great for keeping track of every expense. If it was easier for nonprofits to be rewarded that would be great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp is allowing our nonprofit to identify expenses on a daily basis so that we can ensure that the business is on a good track

What do you like best about the product?
Ramp makes submission of invoices and charges so easy. The text reminder as soon as I make a purchase is priceless. I never have to search for receipts again everything is at my fingertips. And matching on the backend for my accountant makes reconciliation a snap!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I need to keep a high balance in my checking account. That is a serious waste of capital.

Better than initially described!

What do you like best about the product?
As the person who entered, tracked and reconciled all credit card charges for our agency, Ramp has saved me more time than I ever imagined!! The process of uploading or taking a photo of your receipts saves everyone time and the headache of keeping work receipts and filling out expense forms when back in the office. We now have remote workers and Ramp has solved the expense form issue for them perfectly!
We require double approvals and that is a very easy process as well on Ramp.
Ramp saves us time and is used on a daily basis and the monthly reconciling takes minutes, not hours!!
The initial setup and training was very easy to understand and worked very well with our QuickBooks based system. The support team and built in information is also meant for first time users and questions are answered very well.
We are SO thankful we learned about Ramp!!
What do you dislike about the product?
Being totally honest, I don't have an answer for the "downside" of using Ramp.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For remote staff, they can submit all the information immediately on the Ramp app. I don't have to wait for their receipts when they come in 1-2 times/month. I rarely have to ask staff for a receipt or details on the expenses.

Saves us hours in processing time

What do you like best about the product?
Our whole team has been blown away by the ease of use, receipt capture features, and the transaction review process. It saves our whole staff hours every month and saves even more time for our finance team.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have several bank accounts, and some are under our subsidiary names, so we have to manually upload statements every month. It's still easy to do, just requires a few extra steps in the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy way for our staff to have access to their monthly allotted funds, track receipts, and accopmlish accounting.
