Reminds employees to submit receipts!

What do you like best about the product?
Ramp makes it easy for my employees to submit their receipts via text with pictures, matches the receipt to their transaction, and then they don't have to worry about keeping and turning in the paper copy of receipts. It is also wonderful because I can see pictures of the uploaded receipts online if I have a question about a spend. Also, it helps me manage credit limits; I can increase a credit limit quickly for an employee if they have an out-of-town trip or a project requiring a higher credit limit, then decrease the credit limit after the project or trip is over. It also has online sorting tools; I can see all transactions made to a particular company by all cards rather than just one card.
What do you dislike about the product?
My credit limit on Ramp is lower than our other company cards, so we can not use it as a card on file for certain vendors that can have several large transactions in a month. Also, it is a process to get a physical card set up for an employee, they need to create their own login, and then it communicates directly with them via text and email about sending out the card rather than letting me manage that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had problems getting receipts turned in timely, this automates that process and allows users not to have to save paper receipts to turn in.

What do you like best about the product?
Fantastic ! Using ramp has saved us hours of unproductive work, allowing us to focus on the core of our business and dedicate more budget towards core function hiring

The functionalities on the mobile app are restricted

It is automating manual processes, like receipt uploads, allowing me to save hours of productive work time

What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can text/email/upload your receipts and have the process completely automated and auto-approved. Completely negates the need to hang onto receipts and remember where they are. Very simple to use, and the finance department loves it even more than I do!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real downside to this program would be the frequency of reminders. Although some may say that is helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is solving problems that would normally occur from people losing/not submitting receipts. If you just take a quick picture as soon as the transaction occurs it is so easy to remember.

Great finance Software that makes life easier

What do you like best about the product?
Ramp is a great tool for increasing the visibility to perks and benefits to employees. Ramp makes it incredibly easy to request and approve reimbursements, limit reimbursements by category, track old requests, and get updates in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I dislike about Ramp. This is probably a little bug, but when you add a merchant for reimbursement, it asks if you want to create one(if it's not already on the list). However, it doesn't save the merchant to the list, and you have to create one every time. It is just a minor inconvenience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Receipt capture and validation, expense tracking, reimbursement requests, increased visibility to company perks and benefits, prepaid cards. These are all great problems Ramp has created a solution for.

What do you like best about the product?
Management and tracking of spend is simple. Receipt matching became a relatively mindless process as simple as forwarding an email. In comparison, using a typical bank card feels like a dinosaur process - no longer do we have to make long lists of aggregated spending over the month and rely on manual data entry processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's much different than a typical expense process for businesses, so it may not be readily accepted. I wish there was a way to integrate with existing cards/providers and rely on Ramp's processing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Each department can have its own card/bucket to work within, making it easy for our finance team to manage and track. It makes it easy to see where the money is going, as well as keep recurring expenses set aside from one-off expenses.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Ramp has a mobile app, so that after every expense, you can easily associate your receipt and memo before you even think to put the receipt away. It's saved me tons of time without the need of expense reports and other lengthly processes!
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't experienced anything that I would change at this point. Ramp is a system that you can make fit for your company, so I'm sure if there is something I'm not a fan of, it's just the setup that my company has decided on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's no longer hard to request an expense and get the card information to pay for the project/event. Ramp has quickly given me the ability to be a decision make for my company rather than having to go through multiple individuals to complete a payment. Also the amount of time saved in the automatic receipt capture is a game changer. No more receipt saving/losing

What do you like best about the product?
My role is not in accounting or budgets, but once a month I spent needless hours tracking down receipts, scanning and uploading. With Ramp, I don't even remember when expenses are due because they happen instantly, seamlessly, and simply! I
What do you dislike about the product?
While Ramp remembers my most often used accounting codes, it's not always right. If I'm using the quick email prompt and need a new accounting code, it's not easy to find. Instead, I need to submit it, open up the full website version, then edit and change the code. If the full search would work from the simple email interface, it would be much faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Receipts are so easy to submit that expenses are no longer a hassle. Even the most technologically challenged employees have no problem with Ramp. Our supervisor never has to hassle us for expenses any more!

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that Ramp keeps physical and virtual cards separate but on the same dashboard, and it also keeps track of all expenditures so that I can stay organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't use Ramp fully; I have a few virtual cards that allow me to pay monthly expenses, and I have never used a physical card for expenses. I can't see any downsides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp keeps track of my monthly expenses, so I don't forget to pay and stay extremely organized. I love the fact that it's simple to use and all on one dashboard.

Ramp is a great product for a remote company

What do you like best about the product?
Ramp is an amazing tool for a remote team. Their interface is easy to use and very modern. They even have fun gifs when you finish submitting your receipts. Ramp helps our company with our professional development stipend, our annual retreat, and our internal research tool where we purchase e-commerce products and write about them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I find challenging is sometimes receipts can be long and I have to take very long screen shots and upload multiple into the platform. It's especially hard from a phone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this for our professional development stipend, our annual retreat spending including commuting and purchasing traveling tickets, and our internal research program where we purchase products and write about them. This works really well now that we are remote, in the office we used to use a physical card.

What do you like best about the product?
Ramp has saved our company so much time internally. We no longer need to have meetings about spend, it is as simple as requesting a card and shooting a slack message with additional details.

That's it.

Now sometimes there are extra questions but mostly we have more time back to do other work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it does not properly find the receipt that it needs to. When that happens it does cost me more time to go find it, make sure it has all the relevant details and then manually submit it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp reduced internal meetings. We no longer need long conversations about what the spend is for. We also don't need to spend extra hours on the admin side of spending, it just works.
