user-friendly tool that gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable was one of the easiest automation platform tools to learn fresh. It has a pretty clean interface and most of the standard things I want to do with marketing automatino can be done natively, though sometimes take a bit of finagling or a message to Support. Iterable is staffed with a helpful support team who can be reached at all hours via Chat, and if you get set up with the right dedicated account rep they can really help move you in the right direction to meet your business needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Iterable has some opportunity to improve their reporting capabilities. This is a common concern across every Iterable user I have ever met, so it's suprising they have not built this function out more. The foldering structure in some sections of Iterable (webhooks, snippets) has not been well-planned and this creates a messy environment to work in and search in. It can also be challening for a non-dev to get the documentation for what tools and platforms can be integrated w/ Iterable or how to set up APIs/webhooks to build more of the ops flows. I'd love to see more user-friendly developer docs!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team automates hundreds of campaigns a week for email, direct mail via webhooks, and push/SMS. Iterable allows us to do this at all stages of the funnel, and we are able to iterate on existing flows to make things better.
