The best CX tool out there!

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane makes capturing user tutorials a cinch.

I'm the on-site support expert for an EMR software that is not user-friendly, meaning a lot of my job is explaining the unintuitive and sometimes ridiculous steps it takes to accomplish something within the program. I historically used a combination of technical writing and screenshots, or I'd record a video of how to complete the task.

It took me about 30 seconds to figure out how to use Storylane--it was all so intuitive and slick! I had fun jumping in and experimenting with features, and in just a few minutes, I documented a process for our EMR. I was pretty impressed right then, but I'm a tech-savvy gal, even if not usually the type inclined to write reviews.

So, the real test: I sent it off to two colleagues, neither of whom would say they are "tech savvy." They both raved that it was the best how-to guide they had ever used. They could click along with it, and it easily showed them where to click and what to do--they didn't have to scroll through screenshots or pause and start a video twenty times.

I know Storylane's mainly packaged itself on the sales side of the fence, but I just can't stop seeing the potential on the CX/UX and support side. I'm especially intrigued about how it might assist teachers and students in their classrooms, allowing teachers to spend less time as tech support agents and more time teaching.

Another pro: their entire team is so friendly and kind! They believe in their product, and given that it's an awesome tool, they definitely should!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any actual complaints or detractions. I'm excited to see how Storylane grows.

I am curious about Storylane's accessibility for users with disabilities, however, and hope full accessibility is in consideration if not already implemented!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane makes documenting processes and creating user guides quick and easy for the creator--and so straightfoward and simple for the end user.

Great, Easy to Use Tool & Great Support Team

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is exactly what we were looking for for our marketing team. It's a great and super easy-to-use tool for us to create interactive product tours for prospects visiting our website. The support team is also super helpful and quick to respond whenever we have any questions or are looking for feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, nothing is really coming to mind other than would love for it to be easier to embed 3rd party forms with platforms like Pardot. The support team can help you to embed the form with code and whatnot, but it would be great to have an easier way to implement that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We sell a software solution that isn't in a commonly known space, so it takes a little more of an introduction for prospects to truly understand the benefits. We don't offer a free trial just because the product is a little more technical and requires a little hands-on training, so Storylane gives us the ability to give prospects a sneak peek intro the product while we can guide them through it in a way that makes sense. It's helping us bring in more qualified leads from our website.

What do you like best about the product?

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane included the widest range of features for generating and editing realistic, html-based demos. The user experience makes it easy to get started quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much not to like. We are excited to see the new features Storylane continues to introduce.

Simplifying realistic demo walk throughs without having to use the live site. Providing the ability to generate "canned", executable demos for live demonstrations and onboarding purposes.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane have a great, product led experience. Providing a trial allowed us to double check it would be useful to use. Great for visual demos that can be embedded in websites and delivered by Sales teams, including integrations into CRMs. They had very helpful and targeted customer success teams to offer good advice for improving it too.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be somewhat rigid and inflexible when wanting to customise for more advanced and specific operations. But that trades with being designed to be super straight forward to get up and running.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Embeddable website demo which has helped to offer a self-serve experience for learning our platform
Longer click through demos allowing our Sales & Marketing to demo our product to prospects much more easily

The onboarding process was significantly easier compared to any other software I have purchased before.

The Storylane team is highly responsive to inquiries and offers exceptional customer service.

So far, we have not received any complaints or encountered any drawbacks.

Made Digital Tours a Reality

What do you like best about the product?
We were looking into custom-developing a tour when I found Storylane. It helped us skip weeks of development that I can now work on distributing the tour instead of building it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's a great tool. The analytics stack is a little lackluster without building out our own events in GA, but overall we're pretty happy.

I wish it could figure out a way to have a good mobile tour as well (tho I understand that's tough for a desktop app).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We get to let prospects get a feel for Fulcrum without actually having a trial site.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is one of my favorite tools to use. It is easy and intuitive. They regularly enhance the product in meaningful ways. Often releasing enhancements I didn't know I needed and now can't live without. With Storylane we can quickly create powerful, interactive demos for customers and staff and we have seen improvement in the customer experience for both.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we were able to embed the Storylane demos in our knowledgebase powered by Salesforce. We have figured out a hack for it but it would be great to have it natively someday.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane allows us to provide customers and staff with interactive demos to learn about our platform and/or the tools we use. It's great not only for initial onboarding but for ongoing training and new feature releases as well.

Demos in seconds

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is extremely easy to use. The HTML function allows us to create click-throughs to introduce new features, share answers to support questions, and easily create training material. We got great support during our trial and, since we were busy, even got an extension of the trial period.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far no major issues. They mention that they are working on more features, but we are satisfied with this purchase so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We release new features weekly and while we send out summaries of the new features, we often get questions about the details. Storylane helps us walk through each new bit of functionality and show exactly what to do.
