Amazing features and onboarding!
What do you like best about the product?
What I enjoyed the most was capturing our SaaS in HTML using Storylane's Chrome extension and the fact that we can integrate with Hubspot!

Doing the links between the pages when they are not automated

We do not have to have an up-to-date demo environment

In the past, we needed to involve developers when implementing a new demo experience, but that is no longer needed.
Also, now, we 0 dev effort, our visitors can experience our product before signing up, directly on the website.

Nothing that i can find. It's a great service.

Helps us demo a product to customers that are not tech friendlt and guides them to what we do and also helps them onboard with us
Easy to get started
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is incredibly intuitive to use. I was able to get started and launch a client-facing demo in under 30 minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Storylane works as described. It lacks the bells and whistles of some other competitors, but I don't really need those.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wanted to create a self-guided demo of our product that is more interactive than just a loom video.
For us, this tool is incredibly useful for illustrating features of our product
What do you like best about the product?
Our product has a number of discrete sections and functions, we use Storylane to illustrate those in a succinct fashion to our users, both stand alone and within our documentation.
In addition, the responsiveness of the Storylane crew to suggestions is very impressive. Pretty much everything I ask for, shows up in the product in short order.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the product flow is hard to find, but recent updates have made that a lot easier. For example, adding a screenshot to a story that was taken outside of Storylane was a rather convoluted process, but with today's release, it is very simple. Other than that, doing a story that requires a flow between two applications, in 2 tabs, is a challenge, but I don't know how they get around that based on how it works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it easy to illustrate our product. In addition to that, I use the stories that are created as the basis for product videos as well. It is a great addition to our documentation
How Storylane changed our clients experience !
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane's ease of use allowed us to turn a rich but complex user experience into a walk in the park for our users in a matter of hours!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only reproach we could make to Storylane is that we did not discover them earlier!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our solution is rich in features, and we were afraid that users would feel lost, despite all the efforts we made in terms of ergonomics. We also didn't want to ask our users to read a long online documentation... Storylane has totally revolutionized the user experience for our customers.
The tool we were looking for to make engaging product walkthroughs
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has made it incredibly easy for us to create interactive walkthroughs of our software. The UI is straightforward to use and if you have questions their support team is really great and answer quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
When placing hotspots in the HTML editor, it can be fiddly to place the dot exactly where you want it. The "fine tune" feature helps here but I think there could be room for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Stroylane is helping us to structure the narrative in our sales calls. Although we haven't done this yet I see Stroylane being a great help for our FAQs and onboarding too. We also plan to incorporate demos on our website, which will let visitors self-serve and help us capture leads.
Wonderful product to create walk through videos
What do you like best about the product?
Its the most intuitive and simple to-get-started tool for building walk-throughs. I was able to create a demo within minutes and iterate quickly to make it perfect! We looked at several other competitors - Dopt, Floik, Navvatic and Walnut and choose Storylane
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little; I prefer Safari which is my default browser :-)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making it easier for our customer / prospects to understand how our product works without talking to anyone on our team.
Every Software should have a walk-through this easy!
What do you like best about the product?
Our company was looking for an easy way to display how our software works, and we found it with Storylane! We can save our trainers valuable time by sending Storylane walk-throughs to help them with Implementation instead of booking a zoom call with a customer. It is straightforward to create a recording, and the UI for Storylane's pop-ups looks excellent. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a way to walk customers through your software. Thanks Storylane!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Storylane would allow me to switch between tabs while still recording a single walk-through, although I do not know if this is something that could be implemented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our software does not allow customers to click a 'Help' button and get a quick walk through. We typically do our onboarding over zoom calls, but if a new hire or someone forgets how a particular function works, they will have to reach out to us and set up a call so we can re-explain it. Now with Storylane, we can onboard a customer and send them a link to our walkthroughs so they can refresh their knowledge whenever needed. Storylane saves our training team time and allows our customers to be more confident with our software. It's a win-win!
