Create interactive training demos and product walkthroughs fast and easy.
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to spin up a guided walk through with their browser add-on. Literally go about the task and Storylane captures it. Then use the enhance with AI to give it a baseline script which you can tweak and then apply the AI narration. It's literally saved me hours of work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. Sometimes I find myself having to delete lots of steps because it really is tracking every move I make. But that's not a reason not to love it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to create training videos by either capturing screenshots and putting it into a powerpoint or editing screen recordings on iMovie. Now i just let it capture and we've created truly interactive trainings. They're WAY morre engaging. I also use it for some Support cases to help both Customers and Engineering understand system behavior versus typing it out step-by-step.
Seamless Chrome Integration Makes It Effortless to Use
What do you like best about the product?
How it is integrated into Chrome, therefore makes it easy to access/use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing feels a little clunky at times, and when I place the arrow in certain spots, it doesn’t always show up in the preview.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to share information with customers quickly. I also like that I can access content that’s already been created, instead of having to recreate it over and over again.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has been a game-changer. It makes creating interactive demos fast, simple, and highly conversion-ready.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that we're unable to export the data in video format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane helps us take our complex software and break the flow down into guided, easy, bite-sized information. As a result, we’re able to support more customers without needing to add additional employees.
Intuitive Interface, Polished Output for a Great Recipient Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has an intuitive interface and produces a polished output, which makes it easy to create with and delivers a great experience for the recipient.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice with more customizable boxes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending guides and presentations can be tiresome when working with SaaS. However with Storylane, it is easy to set up demos, tutorials and guides in a nice output which in turn can be tracked
Great Demos and Solid Value
What do you like best about the product?
Demo's themselves are great, the experience for creating them can be a tad tedious just because every action seems to create it's own slide. Some smart-deduplication on page (as opposed to the video it suggests) would be helpful. Oftentimes a 5 minute demo returns 100+ slides, I edit that down to 40 or so.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, it's a good app and fair value for what it provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Experiential demo for prospective customers as well as some basic training for folks who haven't used our application.
Storylane Makes Clickable Demos Effortless for Prospects and Product Launches
What do you like best about the product?
So easy to create clickable demos that we can send to our prospects but also customers. Especially helpful when launching new products, and want to send content to our contacts
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I have used yet with Storylane has been a dislike...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick demoing to prospects and customers without having to have separate calls each time. Content easily shared with our customers.
Easy to Use, Delivers a Hands-On Prospect Experience
What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy to use and gives prospects a hands-on experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
More customization would be nice, but I also need to spend a bit more time using it myself before I can say much more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like that prospects can experience our product in a demo setting without having to sit down for a meeting.
Effortless Video Creation, Superb Simplicity
What do you like best about the product?
I create marketing videos to showcase our SaaS product with Storylane. It saves me time when creating product videos that are innovative. I like that it's very simple to use and quick. I appreciate the suggested text in the comment boxes, as it really helps with the speed of creating videos since I don't need to come up with a script from scratch; I can just tweak the suggestions. Also, the initial setup is very simple.

Sometimes the videos can be a bit tricky to edit

Transformative Tool for Dynamic Demos
What do you like best about the product?
I find the seamlessness of the capture and edit cycle in Storylane to be the most valuable part. The browser extension makes the initial capture incredibly simple, but the real power lies in the post-capture editor. Being able to add or remove screens on the fly as the product evolves is a massive time saver for us. Once we're happy with the flow, the one-click publish feature ensures the live demo is updated across the client's site. This agility allows us to be much more responsive to our clients' needs, and we can provide them with a functional, interactive asset in a fraction of the time it would take to edit a video file.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the tool is excellent, there are a few areas where I'd like to see more flexibility. For instance, while they recently added GIF support, I feel like the ability to simulate a natural scroll on the page during a demo would be a significant UX improvement for our more long-form product pages. I'd also love to see even more granular ways to edit the captured pages directly within the tool. Sometimes we need to tweak specific UI elements or hide certain data points more aggressively, and having more robust on-page editing capabilities would prevent us from having to do multiple recaptures if a single pixel is out of place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane solves the obsolescence issue with video production by allowing us to create high-quality interactive walkthroughs quickly and cost-effectively. It bridges the gap between static and live environments, providing a modern, polished way to showcase our clients' products.
Storylane Makes Interactive Product Demos Easy, Smooth, and Shareable
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane makes it very easy to create interactive product demos without heavy technical effort. The UI is intuitive, demo flows are smooth, and sharing via links or embeds is seamless. It’s especially helpful for marketing and sales teams to showcase product features in a guided, self-serve way, which improves engagement and reduces dependency on live demos.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customization options can sometimes feel limited for more complex or highly branded demo experiences. Certain advanced interactions and conditional flows require workarounds, and performance may vary with large demos. More flexibility in design control and deeper analytics would make the platform even stronger.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane helps us guide users inside the product dashboard without needing live support or training sessions. We use it to build interactive walkthroughs that show users exactly how to perform actions—such as creating templates, using key features, and navigating the platform step by step.
Rather than reading documentation or reaching out to support, users can learn how the dashboard works, understand feature flows visually, follow guided steps to complete tasks (like template creation), and get onboarded faster.
As a result, it improves overall user understanding of the product, increases feature adoption, strengthens the onboarding experience, and reduces basic “how-to” support queries.
In short, Storylane helps us teach users how to use the product interface in a practical, hands-on way.
