Easy to use & suprisingly fast to create demos
What do you like best about the product?
The plugin-based screenshot capture tool works well - and it's surprisingly fast to create or update tours (flows) once you've done it a couple of times.
What do you dislike about the product?
The nuances between the various capture types (screenshot, video, full HTML) can be a little confusing at the outset - but make sense once you've tried each of them in a flow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving interested site visitors or potential prospects a low-hurdle way to see how our product works - without having to always schedule a live demo. Particular helpful for our prospects in far-away time zones, with whom scheduling is always a challenge.
Stop wrangling with getting the right "demo data"
What do you like best about the product?
Create click through demos in seconds. You can edit demo data to fit your story perfectly. So instead of wrangling with your demo environment, create and send custom demonstrations that work every time and start booking meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
previews of screenshots are too small to be of much use. to get around this, create titles for each of your screens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
reaching prospects quickly and easily who have short attention spans and no time for setting up PoCs.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane makes it easy to create interactive demos that we can use to cpature leads, as an educational and training tool. The system is user friendly and the response from our AM, Matt is always helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited customizations within tool boxes. ex - only 3 sizes of text to pick from

Storylane is great for building interactive content like demos or call-to-actions. It enables you to use captivating images and texts to highlight key value.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes time to create good content, but like anything worthwhile, it takes time.

We create interactive content for our SaaS solution so mini demos and product explanations.
Powerful tool for platform demos
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane makes it extremely easy to capture screens in a variety of formats, edit them to help viewers focus on what matters most, and then easily add notes to highlight key points. All this can be done with no prior training – it's extremely easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the editing and annotation tools are only available with the default screenshot mode (not HTML capture mode).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Potential customers wanted a way to see how our platform works, but doing live demos or developing videos that need constant updating just wasn't feasible or scalable. Storylane allows us to highlight key components of our platform in a highly engaging way. And, when new features or our UI/UX changes, we can easily add or edit existing screens, which is a much easier process than having to redo a linear demo video recording from scratch.

It's so easy to make click-through demos and gifs in minutes and allows a personalised demo for potential customers to play around with following sales calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to incorporate video like loom, with generative AI voices on top to talk through steps

One of the standout features of Storylane is its user-friendly interface. I didn't need to watch a tutorial to get started as it was easy to use with several tips that help you tell visually compelling stories.
Storylane is easy to implement and deploy for different use. We easily integrate the video into our website with ease and it's sharable across different networks.

What do you dislike about the product?
Having used other demo builder tools, Storylane has been far more user-friendly. However, I would want to see it integrate with product listing platforms like Product Hunt, and G2 so it's much easier to share demos to these platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane helps us create pre-recorded demos that we can share with many potential leads. We do not have to create a demo for every potential lead unless specifically requested.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has a lot of great features that make my life easier when creating a demo.
The ability to edit the HTML is wonderful, it gives me the freedom to edit the demo as much as I want and adjust whatever is needed, this is top notch.
I also love the text token feature, especialy for date adjustments, it makes the demo relevant no matter when users demo it.
The option to link elements to either other pages in the demo or external url is also great.
It's very easy to use Storylane and anyone can do it!

I wish that connecting between recorded pages would be easier, it can be a bit confusing at time if you have a lot of pages and don't always remember what should connect to what.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Storylane to create custom demo environment based on platforms we don't have constant access to, this gives us a stable envrionment we can use without any fear of "surprises".

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to start using and creating the first demo (Screenshots, recording). Overall, you can publish the new demo very fast. I used it quite frequently for different goals - sales demo, onboarding user demo, integration features demo.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes minimal time to figure out how to change the color to resemble your product brand logo. Writing AI is very general, might be improved.
