Storylane is a breeze to convert your product flows into a product story

What do you like best about the product?
Truly DIY. I did not require a guide or faq or assistance to build the stories
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specific. The only I wished for is to convert the story walkthrough into a video, which I guess they are working on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
End-users of a product find it challenging to scroll through detailed user text or video guides, faqs etc to find the information or the steps they need in a product flow.

Storylane helps construct the product steps into simple flows and stories which the User can walk through at their own pace and to their context of use.

What do you like best about the product?
It may be the easiest and most flexible demo tool I have ever used. Everyone at the team loves it!

We tried most of the other solutions but weren't satisfied - especially due to technical limitations. Further, the support has been incredibly fast - we are very, very impressed.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not really experienced anything negative and the few questions that we had were answered immediately via chat. We'd love even more features, like GIFs or videos in all types of steps, but for now, Storylane has been the best on the market for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a highly complex product and are creating digital and interactive product demos for sales and marketing purposes, both mass targeted and individually. Combined with our pitch products, Storylane is the spice that makes us stand out.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane sticks to being a simple easy to use tool that doesn't try to do too much.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could benefit from additional "apply to all" features for colors
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously in my blog posts I had to take static screenshots and annotate them with arrows and text and have a lot of screenshots to explain things. This took a really long time and took a lot of screen real estate and the user had to do a lot of scrolling. These problems are all solved with Storylane.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I compared Storylane to more complex solutions and realized the complexity of the other solutions actually got in the way of my creativity.
So I recommend when using Storylane, think about your audience having only a 20 second attention span, and keep the animations you make simple and short.

What do you like best about the product?
The intuitive nature of the product. Very easy to use and set up. Love the design and styling across the product. Reasonable pricing and a founding team who is dedicated towards customer success.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of the features when compared to more mature competitors are in the pipeline and we have to wait it out - self serve integrations, form fill gating etc. However the team is working really fast to push these features out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used and continue to use Storylane to create interactive demos for our product. We've seen immediate bumps in conversion rates and website engagement by adding said demo. We plan to use their platform and product to create custom demos for sales engagements in the future.

What do you like best about the product?
Makes it incredibly simple to create an interactive demo of your site. I was skeptical when I was first told to go learn it and make some demo's when it was first released, but after I got into the product and saw the response from the users, it was incredible in terms of engagement. So, with very little effort, you can create something really powerful and useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The relationship between Pages and Steps can get weird if you are having to fix up a lot of stuff from having recorded your steps, but that was more my fault than a problem with the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At the time I was using it heavily, we had a complex SaaS product with a lot of different process flows. This allowed me to create demo's of those flows, which I would also re-use to make videos as well. People learn differently, but I found that this process was very popular with potential customers and even a bit of training internally.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This can save you a lot of time when creating content to illustrate how to use your software service.

Nothing really. Every feature I required they had in their pipeline

What do you like best about the product?
We were able to build custom demos, product tours, and gifs for Marketing, Sales, and Sales Development within a week...and they're already using them on landing pages and outbound emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to date - the team has been incredibly helpful ironing out any current product gaps within a couple of days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to increase conversion rates on landing pages and improve outbound opportunity creation. We just launched this week but everyone including our VPs of Marketing and Sales are incredibly optimistic.

What do you like best about the product?
Navigating the user experience while crafting interactive demos has been a breeze. Onboarding was straightforward, and we've been able to quickly produce impactful interactive demos that really resonate with our prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few features missing that we'd like to use, but I know they're coming. The Storylane team are very transparent with what's in the pipeline and keep us informed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to be able to give our prospects a glimpse into our product without having to sign them up to a trial straight away. This allowed for better conversations with sales.

What do you like best about the product?
I compared StoryLane to competing products and chose to work with the StoryLane team in large part because their product offered the core features we were looking for, pricing was reasonable for a start-up like ours and the team was great to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about StoryLane. If I am required to suggest an improvement, I would like to share our product demos without the StoryLane logo appearing in the browser tab or as the demo loads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to share our story in a simple, informative way that also allows our users to explore our software on their own time. We've been able to engage with leads more effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact we could also capture designs from Figma to demo new features before they're released was a big plus. The setup process was straightforward (built a 20+ page tour in 30 minutes as a first-time user). The team has also been incredibly responsive to questions, always surprised by their reply time and follow-through.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a second to figure out capturing the right screens you want, but after this it's a breeze. Also still learning the best ways to use the product for mobile tours.

We have Storylane on our website's product page to help users get a good understanding of the product in a more engaging way — this way they see / know our value before raching out.
