Great product demo tool with lead generation features
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use and I like the fact we can integrate the player on website + G2. New features around company tracking are also very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrating video into demos could be easier
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to create different demos for different use cases and different landing pages where we were doing screen recordings before. The tool is easy to use and cost efficient which allows us to test very quickly.
Fantastic product with fantastic updates!
What do you like best about the product?
I've reviewed Storylane before and I've got to say, the recent updates have really made an impact with our content creation.
On top of being extremely intuitive with the fact I can make a demo of any particular feature within 5 mins - the introduction of exporting storylanes as a video MP4, this has given us the flexibility to really make some quality content outside of storylane without the need of having to work with screen recordings or screenshots of a Storylane demo.
Working with storylane has helped our organization really up the quality and increased the pace with our sales, and marketing content

What do you dislike about the product?
Organization of storylane content.
While there is an existing way of organizing content, it feels a bit limited? Very minimal and not in a good way. While it gets the job done and can be worked, I think I'd like to see ease of use improvements to make organizing content more fluid. (Maybe drag and drop into folders?)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From my last review, not much has changed,
The problem we were facing is getting quality branded content out as quickly as possible. We had to worry about all of the video editing, branding, and then on top of that, trying to make a video that was as engaging or interactive as possible. Storylane Solved this problem within 5 minutes of us signing up.
Not only are we taking images from our live product, we can adjust the branding of the tour to match. We can do this quickly while grouping relevent tours together, and the best part is, we can make these product demos interactive while guiding users through any number of flows. - To take the interactivity up a notch, Storylane offers an html capture tour that basically allows us to make immersive demos of our product and allows our views a chance to engage with our platform, and also having it tailored directly to them through personalization tokens.
With the introduction of exporting videos as a MP4 this has given us further flexibility with creating content outside of storylane if needed in a consistent branded format.

Fantastic way to improve prospect engagement
What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to use with very little training. I had a demo, then had free access and then we went ahead with the enterprise package. I found I needed very little training, and their training guides are very straight forward and simple to use. Our account contact is really quick to come back to use, and the support team have been great in being able answer any of my questions and help with the set up of our SSO for example. I'm using it daily, and getting better at using it, it was extremely easy to integrate with Salesforce and our SSO.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can only use it on web browser applications and not mobile applications, there are some enhanced functionality that would work really well but I dont know how to suggest it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increased customer engagement and reducing the amount of time spent on a demo which allows us to demo to more people.
Easy to use, easy to create powerful product tours
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive and robust, good technical support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Had a technical hiccup early on, which was remedied quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Showing our platform in step-by-step processes.
Excellent Way to Help My Clients Go Step by Step
What do you like best about the product?
I have several training courses. All the hands on and step by step parts in my course are on storylane, which is an incredible tool that really brought my courses to another level!
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides, everything is excellent and easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Normally, I would have to record myself doing the hands on activity. Anytime something is changed in the software, I have to redo the entire hands on demo. With Storylane, all I have to do is change a particular scene.
Great product, higher conversion
What do you like best about the product?
Users are much more receptive to the interactive nature of a storylane compared to an email or video. Very intuitive. Not overly complicated with multiple features, but does what it can extremely well
What do you dislike about the product?
having to individually delete storylanes - needs to be a mass delete button.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Interaction and retention of tutorials, saving us time
Excellent interactive demo experience
What do you like best about the product?
If you have a technical product that is difficult to articulate without photos or screenshots - Storylane will be your best friend. Its "screen capture" feature allows you to drill-down a typical demo into a GIF, or clickable feature tour. Excellent for conveying hot features, immediate value, and user interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are limits on how creative you can get with callouts / branding / color coding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the issue of needing to get a call on the calendar to demonstrate a product. This makes your features available to casual prospects.
Great for product demos. Simple, and easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
It's really simple and straightforward to use, and makes it easy to publish a product demo or tutorial fast. We were able to create a great walk through from just product screenshots. The demos have been useful for creating tutorials for customers, and product demos for prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind. It has been great for our use cases so far and we haven't encountered any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane enabled us to publish product demos and tutorials fast, and without the need for video production. The self-paced / interactive style is great as well.
Storylane helps create product walk throughs, fast!
What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
- I wish there were means to mask /pixellate areas of the UI - this could potentially help mask irrelevant/confidential parts of the UI without having to go back to AdobeXD or Figma.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Give a quick overview of a complex product on our website for potential users.
Show them various underlying modules, call out top features, set baseline expectations for UI/UX

Not perfect, but the best we could find.

Easy to learn, easy to use, flexible, custom-branded, analytics tools, link personalization
What do you dislike about the product?
Tiered pricing is confusing, lack of transparency around features and integrations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane helps us create and distribute self-guided demos to generate leads when someone is not (yet) interested in jumping on a call with a sales agent.
