Solid platform with good customer support
What do you like best about the product?
It's very simple and straightforward to capture screens or upload you own mobile screens. The account teams are helpful to get you set up. The analytics are pretty intuitive too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The editing process can be a bit cumbersome. The folder structure and editing permission for final tours is not great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us deliver product tours to less qualified inbound folks. Helping us generate demand by linking them straight from the website.

Easy to learn. Easy to explain. Low entry cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's confusing where things are being stored and if you're working in a collaborative environment ensuring your file doesn't get overwritten.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane allows me to bridge the gap between website and platform - it helps me to tell a story arch and guide my user along the way. We are also looking at ways to bring it into other parts of the business, outside of Sales and Marketing.

It is incredibly easy to use and make tutorials.

I think that sometimes when you have multiple recording sessions, it doesn't work the best.

We were having difficulty training on a a detailed software and this helped with visual tutorials!

What do you like best about the product?
Recording and editing demos is fairly straightforward, there are multiple options for personalizing and branding, and our results have been good using the demos. Storylane is also regularly adding new features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain features are clunky or unintuitive (e.g. Team/user management and analytics) and at times customer support has been slow, but both of these seem to be getting better.

Providing self-serve product tours to increase engagement and conversions in the marketing funnel.

Super easy to use and build demos in. Love the strong transitions and ease of use.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is extremely intuitive and user-friendly. It only took me five minutes to get onboarded and record my first demo. Integrating it with our website and G2 was just as quick, taking another five minutes.

The editor interface had few bugs and looking to have more features there

Storylane has proven to be the ideal solution for showcasing our platform. Since we do not offer open access to our product but still wanted to provide a quick walkthrough, Storylane addressed our needs perfectly. Previously, we had to record video demos and edit them repeatedly, which was time-consuming. With Storylane, the process only takes a few minutes. It is also very convenient to record multiple demos for different use cases. This not only saves us production costs but also reduces the number of questions we receive about the product. Overall, it has been extremely helpful for our sales pipeline.

Storylane is extremely easy to use - it has allowed both product experts and marketers log in to create an interactive product tour in just a couple of hours with minimal training.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more technical elements tend to be a little buggy (such as hiding specific elements or populating text). Usually, refreshing the page or clearing the cache fixes these issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane provides our customers and prospects with an excellent opportunity to engage more deeply with our product. For our marketing team, it makes it much easier to highlight new features and capabilities, eliminating the need for complicated sandbox setups or technical assistance to create a demo environment.
