Storylane makes demos effortless and impactful
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has transformed the way we showcase our product. The platform is intuitive, easy to implement, and flexible enough to create tailored demos for different audiences. It saves us time, reduces back-and-forth setup, and allows prospects to engage with our product in a hands-on way. The analytics are a great bonus for understanding engagement, and the customer support team is responsive and proactive. Overall, it’s a powerful tool that elevates how we present and sell.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s very little to dislike. Occasionally, more advanced customization could be smoother, but their team is quick to provide workarounds or product updates. The pace of improvements is strong, so even small gaps are being addressed quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane is helping us scale our demo automation without needing constant engineering involvement. Instead of spending hours setting up live environments or customizing walkthroughs, we can quickly build interactive demos that look and feel authentic. This has shortened our sales cycle, improved consistency in how we showcase the product, and allowed us to tailor demos to different customer personas. Ultimately, it saves us time, reduces friction for prospects, and creates a more engaging buying experience.
Perfect for Quickly Creating Product Demos
What do you like best about the product?
It's just really easy to use and has all the flexibility you need to do what yo need to do quickly. It grabs all the screens without having to do anything manually and has a really good go at generating a narrative based on the scanerio you provide as context. I love the fact that you can then go and tweak the whole thing to get it just how you like it, that includes adding & removing screens, adjusting the flow, the hotspots and everything. Once done it's super-easy to share the results with anyone you like.

There were areas where the AI generated narrative missed the point a bit and I wished I could give it more detail about the contect to help it along..

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to navigate and is great for internal/external training modules in a corporate setting. We have been using Storylane to help our clients understand our Saas Services.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is fairly tedious to type in a description for every single use case. Maybe there is a way to automate this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us provide a user manual to our clients on the services we provide. It streamlines the implementation processes.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane makes building and delivering interactive demos incredibly simple. The AI-driven features save a ton of time, and the overall ease of use means our team can quickly create polished, professional experiences without needing deep technical expertise. It’s a perfect fit for showcasing our solution in a way that’s engaging and customer-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback is that Storylane is currently limited to Chrome (to my knowledge). Broader browser support (Edge, Safari, Firefox) would make it easier to adopt across different teams and customer environments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane gives our prospects a better approach to experiencing our solution vs watching a recorded demo. With their AI, we can also explain benefits over their current solution.

Storylane has been a fantastic addition to our documentation workflow. It allows us to create interactive, high-quality visual presentations that perfectly complement our written content. The demos are intuitive and easy to integrate. Also, capture & editing is incredibly easy.

What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, it's a very, very good tool. The only drawbacks I see are that it's not possible to translate a demo without duplicating it, and it's a bit hard to tell which demos have already been organized or not — but these are minor issues.

Storylane helps us bring our documentation to life by adding high-quality, interactive demos that make complex workflows easier to understand. Instead of relying solely on long blocks of text or static screenshots, we can now guide users through visual, hands-on experiences.
It’s also incredibly easy to edit and update demos, which saves us time and allows more team members to contribute, even without technical or design skills.
While translation and demo organization could be improved, the overall experience is smooth and efficient. Storylane has significantly improved the clarity and engagement of our documentation.

Easy-to-use, interactive platform
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, I started as a beginner and was able to create product guide demos pretty easily. The site is easy to navigate as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe an option to create more fluid/video-like demos would be helpful, right now demos are constructed of separate slides that transition into each other (style is a little choppy/seems like you're presenting a slide deck)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane allows us to show off our product and walk interested customers through it without the hassle of setting up live demos or meetings

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane makes it simple and quick to explain otherwise complex written instructions. Having an extension in my browser makes it extremely easy to create a quick demo. I love being able to embed them on webpages and include GIFs in our marketing emails. All-in-all a really great product, and easy to learn!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I can think that I don't like about Storylane is maybe their logo color? Fuschia? Honestly, I can't think of anything I don't like about Storylane. It's awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since part of what we market is a software product, it solves the problem of needing to show newly released features that we would like for our coaches and clients to explore so they can get the maximum benefit from our services. This helps with client satisfaction and retention.
A tool that describes your product or service the best way
What do you like best about the product?
I am a Chief Marketing officer. For me, the personalization to make it based on an specific use case it's what makes it unique. Creating, and most importantly explaining the SOPs in my company was a headache, with this tool it's very easy to do so.

Its a very easy to use tool but the learning curve could take some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Employees come and go in my company and getting the new ones on track took a lot of time and effort. With storylane I can not only explain the SOPs of my company but also, create Storylanes about our customers, so buyers can understand easier how to use the software tools.
So, first would be Net new hire ramp up time.

Storylane for Learning
What do you like best about the product?
My team is using Storylane to create demos for learning purposes. What I find really helpful is how easy to use it is, and I can create professional-looking demos and walk-throughs very quickly and easily, and editing is really simple. For demonstrating software applications it's a true-to-life snapshot of how the system works. I was able to get up and running with the tool without much trouble.
What do you dislike about the product?
If the extension was available in other web browsers (Edge & Firefox) that would make it easier for me to have additional SME's help create content, as our organization has Chrome locked down to only a few users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to create safe training environments where our new hires can try out the new software they will be using without compromising live data, and this tool is perfect for creating a safe "sandbox" for them to explore the system.
Amazing tool for interactive product demonstrations
What do you like best about the product?
It allows us to show more of our product on the website and make it interactive. We want to use this to generate more leads.

The value is there, however it can be expensive for smaller companies.

We struggled to bring our product to life on our website. With Storylane we can show people how awesome our product is instead of just telling them.
