Ease of use

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy and seamless it is to create different storylane demos. The analytics and conversion tracking is a huge plus as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the time the storylane demos have a broken up feel to them. I wish we were able to create more of a traditional continuous demo, almost like a video.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us push many of our smaller inbound leads down a self-service path. In turn, free up time for our sales team to conduct high value demos.

A new experience for our customers and prospects

What do you like best about the product?
I don't know why I hesitated so long to get live demos going, but we are already seeing the results. In our recent newsletter, we saw more clicks on our published demo than what we have seen for any other links or assets included in the past.

It was easy to get started. No rigid implementation was required. Our team loves that it is easy to use, it looks really sleek. It is flexible, which is very important to us since we manage two brands and both mobile and desktop experiences.

The team is highly responsive to questions, and I say questions deliberately because I haven't had any challenges so far. Their help docs are also super useful.

We haven't done it yet, but we are also excited to integrate with Hubspot and embed our demos in AssetMule for more live assets (vs boring pdfs).

The metrics are cool! I really love everything about it.

We have big plans for Storylane, and where we can use it across our organization. And the feedback rom our team has only been positive.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I don't like. Every time I think, oh I wish they had this feature, I go to check and they do have it already.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us engage our audience and track better metrics vs stagnant pdfs and attachments.

Game Changer for Showcasing Product

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has created a completely new way for us to showcase the value of our product to clients and prospects. The platform is intuitive and easy to use. One of the things I like about it is that there are a number of applications that we are exploring from website, product launches, events, training and support, and Sales outreach.

There are a number of embedding and sharing options that make distribution seamless for sales outreach, events, and email campaigns.

The customer support team is also fantastic. The team is responsive, knowledgeable, and always eager to help. Overall, Storylane has significantly improved our demo experience and buyer engagement. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to elevate their product demonstrations!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I dislike. Storylane is one of those products where you say "I wonder if it does that.." or "it would be great if I could..." only to find out that it can.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane is solving the challenge of creating engaging, interactive product demos without requiring a lot of resources. With Storylane, we can easily create no code, guided demos that allow prospects to explore our product at their own pace.

What do you like best about the product?
- super easy to create and share the interactive product demos
- no coding required, very user-friendly
- provides insight into the users who interact with your demos
- reasonably priced compared to some competitors
What do you dislike about the product?
- it can be a bit time consuming creating the interactive demos
- customization is a bit limited, but not a deal breaker
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed an embeddable interactive demo that didn’t require coding, allowing users to get a teaser of the product before booking a demo. This helps spark interest and engage potential customers right away.

What do you like best about the product?
Incredibly quick and easy to make clickable demos at scale! I've been able to use them for sales enablement as well as our team using them for demand gen and customer marketing campaigns. We use it in so many applications and it's incredibly easy to share with customers and embed in our software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only request would be some more features in the UI click a zoom in to certain features when creating a clickable demo

Sales enablement at scale - showing reps what areas of the product are most crucial and highlight significant changes in our products

What do you like best about the product?
It is very intuitive and easy. The chrome extension makes it very straightforward to create demos of each feature separately.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is difficult to add screens from outside the recording.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane solves the problem of teaching digital product modules without the need for an in-person demo or a free plan.

What do you like best about the product?
We love the fact we can display our product anywhere. Whether that is to demo it, or just to show it off.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't have any current downsides to storylane.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Due to us not offering trials at the time, Storylane allowed us to display and show our product in the form of a demo.

Second time implementing Storylane

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to create demos quickly. This is extremely helpful as our product changes constantly, and I can update the demos simply by updating the screenshots used. It's very easy to implement and I always get a quick answer from support. We use it regularly and have worked it into our in-app experience. We also have it integrated with Hubspot.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much that I dislike. If anything, there are a few features that could be updated around the creation of demos, specifically around formatting and making sure it's consistent throughout your library of demos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to create an empty stage experience of our product with minimum engineering work since our product is always updating. Users can now explore the product after signing up for our trial. We also use it regularly for feature launches and have been creating a library of features that educate our users on the value of our product.

Storylane has given us the power to make customized demos accessible

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is very lighweight and the ability to embed demos in landing pages, emails and via personalized links is truly game changing. Very easy to implement, we were able to start building out landing pages and email sequences, including the demos, within 24 hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing tiers are not perfect, I would prefer if code demos we're included at the starter level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a few key challenges:
1. Making our demo accessible, having a link to a demo page or portal from a landing page or email is a poor UX, so being able to embed a version of it directly in the content is huge for us.
2. Adding context, our product has nuance and so the ability to add tooltips and provide more context makes the demo much more valuable for prospects.

What do you like best about the product?
Really simple and easy to use. You don't really need to learn much to start using Storlyane, adding in the guides and styling them is pretty self explanitory.

The screen recording feature is really helpful when you want to build a demo very quickly. The way it automatically frames your demo into a mockup browser window is really nice and makes it look extra clean.

Multiple sharing options make it relly versitile in how you can utilise the demos, we embed them in our website but can also share them in emails as links etc.

Brand kit feature makes it much quicker to build demos as we don't have to worry about fonts and colours every time we build a demo.

On the rare occasion we had a bug with a demo, customer support where very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The screen recording feature only works in a browser. So if you want to demo something in a desktop app, you have to purely rely on your own screenshots, which makes building a demo much more time consuming.

It would be good if you could edit the size of the hotspot guide, as a lot of the time it covers or obscures part of your screenshot that you'd liek tobe more visibile, which is quite annoying.

Can't really simulate typing, so if you are trying to demo something that involves a lot of free text editing, it doesn't really translate well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We lacked any nteractive way of showcasing our Saas product before using Storylane. Now we can build demos for multiple use cases and embed them on the site or share them in emails etc.
