Perfect software to engage prospects
What do you like best about the product?
I love how interactive demos work for our clients. The engagement significantly increased, and it's easy to set up and embed on the website.
What do you dislike about the product?
add an option to edit screenshots in the screenshot mode

We noticed that our client has seen a higher conversions on the website and more leads.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has been very easy to use. We've designed a lot of presentations for our website visitors as well for other educational purposes. Customer support has also been available when needed.
Overall: Storylane has already shown us true value in a short period of time.

Perfect for SaaS companies
What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity and versatility of creating interactive product demos with Storylane. We use it as part of our app documentation, for user guides, to create marketing campaigns, but also for individual customer support cases. We use it on a regular basis and it is very easy to train new colleagues to use Storylane.
The platform is incredibly intuitive and the plugin for Microsoft Edge works perfectly. The analytics feature gives us great insight into how viewers are interacting with the demo, which helps us optimise for better engagement. Highly recommended!

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the live editor is glitching a bit when duplicating screenshots, but that's just a minor issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Storylane: Publishing demo's made easier
What do you like best about the product?
Its ease of use is one thing i like about it and along with that wheneven i want to edit an existing demo it enables me to take that particular screenshot with their browser extensiona and seamlessly add that to existing demo.
Capability to either choose video demo as well along with screenshot based one.
It was easy to integrate to webpages too as it has directly gives embed code for webpages to use.

What do you dislike about the product?
While editing an existing demo one thing which used to bug me is that i am not allowed to select multiple steps at the same time and move across the flow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating an easy to use demo along with capturing the analytics of the user interactions with them and controlling the demo even after it is published.
Perfect solution for tutoriel and customer support
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to use, the settings are flexible. The possibility to add different flow, work on the background (blur, zoom ect) make it so convenient, both for the creator of the storylane and our customers. It's one of the most used tools in our company and I recommend it warmly.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've been using this solution for a year now. They fixed the small issue, so I don't see any downsides at the moment.

Demo of our solution and personnalised tutorial for customer. We use it for our Blog, our knowledgebase and for some customer support.

Storylane is a fantastic tool for onboarding and training, serving both internal teams and customers effectively. As a Product Manager, I appreciate how quick and easy it is to create feature demonstrations that clearly convey value. The interactive "click-and-experience" approach is a game-changer, especially in an era of short attention spans—it grabs attention and drives engagement much better than traditional video formats. This is particularly valuable for showcasing features and driving understanding during product demonstrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven’t encountered any major roadblocks in gaining the value Storylane provides. However, one area for potential enhancement could be features that facilitate internal collaboration when creating demos. For example, having options for multiple team members to co-create or review demos in real-time would streamline the process and make it even more efficient.

Storylane solves the challenge of effectively educating both internal teams and customers about the value of new feature launches. Its interactive "click-and-experience" approach makes it easier to communicate complex ideas in a more engaging and digestible format compared to traditional methods like long videos or static documents. For onboarding, it simplifies the process by creating step-by-step demos that users can interact with, ensuring better understanding and retention.

Fast and easy way to create interactive demos
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane gives us a really quick and simple way to create an interactive demo that our customers can use to learn more about our product. I like that it takes just a couple of minutes to set up everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price jump from Starter to Growth is too big.

It cannot be split into multiple paths during the flow. Only possible to do the split on the first screen using a product tour.

When selling to a champion and the key decision maker can't attend a demo, especially if the champion is going to present on your behalf, Storylane allows the champion to demo the software exactly as you intend them to

I haven't had anything that I've disliked about Storylane.

Our software does not have a free trial option, so building out interactive demos in Storylane has been really helpful to show what our product can do.
