Quick Start and Generous Free Tier Make It Stand Out

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy and fast to get started and implement, and the service offers a generous free tier that allows you to explore its capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI persona voice doesn't sound quite right in my language, which isn't very common, but I appreciate that they offer a wide range of language support. On the other hand, the English AI persona voice is excellent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They automate much of the training necessary for users to learn the custom software I provide. The interactive demo is far superior to any video, as it gives users a hands-on training experience. By the end of the process, users are better prepared, which significantly reduces the man-hours required for individual training without Storylane.

Easy to use to create a range of interactive demos

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has made it incredibly straightforward to create demos of our product. I’ve already put together several demos, including a platform tour, a choose-your-own-adventure experience, and a number of in-depth explorations. Although assembling everything required significant effort, the platform itself made the creation process easy. We also recognize the potential to expand Storylane’s use to other teams beyond marketing, and we’ve leveraged the playbook sections to help us prioritize where and how to grow our usage.

The customer support has been excellent so far. Whether I’ve reached out to our account manager or used the live chat, I can’t fault the level of effort and assistance provided.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, we've encountered problems with the sizing of the demos and how our product is displayed. This could be related to the way we capture the demos, and we've recently made some improvements in that area. Another challenge has been the mobile appearance of the demos; however, after reviewing other platforms, it seems this may be a more widespread issue with interactive demos in general. We've also received assistance from the support team to help us with this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our product offers a wide range of capabilities, and we initially found it challenging to communicate the full range of problems we can address for our customers. The demos have been instrumental in providing prospects with a clear understanding of the different features available and demonstrating how these can be applied to tackle their specific revenue content creation challenges.

What do you like best about the product?
The software is straightforward to use, offers a free version, and is simple to implement.

There are a few bugs, such as the software automatically translating from French to English when I insert a video, for example.

The onboarding process for users is straightforward, and the marketing demonstration is clear and effective.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, customisation options, and range of features available have all been impressive. Whenever support has been needed, it has been outstanding. Storylane has truly transformed how we manage product knowledge and onboarding, and it has also become an invaluable resource for our Sales team. They now use it to demonstrate the product and to send reminders about key features to important prospects. Implementing Storylane was straightforward, and it integrated seamlessly with our existing knowledgebase and email templates, allowing us to provide faster support to our own customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, we haven't encountered any issues—every feature has worked perfectly for us. Whenever we've run into a problem, the customer support team has always been quick to guide us in the right direction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We encountered multiple challenges when trying to demonstrate the product to potential customers, as many of them requested free trials, which we do not provide. Storylane has helped us address this by giving us access to an extensive library of interactive demos. Additionally, we have enhanced our customer support by creating a collection of interactive help guides and templates for quick support on frequently asked questions.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane makes it really easy to build professional, interactive product demos without requiring complex setup. I love how polished the end result looks and how smoothly it integrates into my website. It helps us showcase our product in a way that feels engaging and intuitive for visitors. The ease of use and quick implementation are definitely the highlights.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d love to have more flexibility in customizing the demo steps — for example, adjusting transitions, adding more control over step-by-step navigation, or tailoring specific flows for different audiences. While the current features are strong, more advanced step settings would make the tool even more powerful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane helps us create interactive product demos without needing heavy development work or complex setup. Instead of static screenshots or long videos, we can now showcase our platform in a hands-on, guided way that gives users a real feel for the product. This has improved how we present our value to prospects and saves a lot of time compared to building custom demo environments.

Storylane makes explaining apps to clients easy and clear

What do you like best about the product?
We needed to show a client how to navigate a special application we use in our cooperation. We were looking for an easy way to create a step-by-step guide – without editing videos or writing long descriptions.

That’s how we found Storylane. This tool allows you to quickly record every step of clicking through the screen and add clear text bubbles with descriptions. A great feature is the option to divide the walkthrough into stages, which helps organize the information and highlight the most important parts.

For now, I’m using the free version, but we liked the app so much that we’re planning to upgrade to a paid plan. This will help us show our clients how to use our solutions even more effectively and make collaboration easier.

I also like how easy the app is to use – it took me just one try to understand how everything works. Plus, the ability to edit the text bubbles gives a lot of freedom to adjust the style of the presentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
As for the downsides – I missed better organization of the screenshots. When I wanted to add an extra screen, it was hard to find the right one among the existing ones because many of them looked very similar. I also couldn’t find an option to delete unnecessary screenshots, which made things a bit messy.

In the screen editor, I wanted to change one text, but I couldn’t choose the right font or text size – I missed more flexibility when editing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane solves the problem of explaining complex processes to clients through long emails or text instructions. It allows us to guide the client visually through the entire process, step by step, instead of writing detailed messages. This makes everything clearer and more engaging, and it reduces the number of mistakes clients make in important moments.

Storylane’s Stability Transformed My Demos and Boosted Sales

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane’s biggest strength is its stability.
I used to run live demos by directly connecting to our demo server during client meetings, which was sometimes risky and stressful. After switching to Storylane, everything became much smoother and more stable. It’s incredibly easy to use — I was able to build an interactive demo within minutes without any technical help. Since using it for my live demos, my sales numbers have gone up, and I’ve received great feedback from clients, including a major furniture company in Korea.
What do you dislike about the product?
I just wish there were more design options for text bubbles and typography. The current selection feels a bit limited, and it would be great to have Korean font support in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
n my company, we develop and sell our own procurement system. Most sales managers usually run live demos by connecting directly to the demo server, which can be risky — the server might go down, or the demo data may not behave as expected during the presentation.

With Storylane, I’ve completely eliminated those risks. It allows me to deliver perfectly stable demos anytime, anywhere. Plus, features like zoom-in and zoom-out make my presentations far more dynamic and engaging than live demos, helping me capture and maintain the client’s attention throughout.

What do you like best about the product?
We've started using Storylane to help prospective customers see inside our apps without needing to install anything. It's a very easy way to help people see 'under the hood'. Creation of each guided tour has been very straightforward, as has the integration with our website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Increased flexibility around the inclusion of CTAs would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy Agile apps support team practices, so making a decision to adopt one of our products could mean a change in the way a team works. This isn't done on a whim. I need to be able to demonstrate how our apps work to people who are considering them. Storylane makes it really easy to capture guided tours that help people see what using the app would be like. Even on a campaign landing page, I can include a high-level tour that shows someone how to manage their work using one of our apps in just a few clicks.

Storylane Delivers Personalized Demos and Outstanding Support

What do you like best about the product?
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE STORYLANE!!!! As a Sales Engineer, Storylane is EXCELLENT because it allows me to send personalized presentations to clients. The clients love it because they can view the Storylane's on their own time. I can't say enough about their Support Team. They are always very responsive and helpful. Storylane is AWESOME!!!

At this point, I cannot think of anything negative about Storylane. The really check on every box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane is excellent for situations where potential or existing clients are unable to attend lengthy presentations. I really appreciate being able to tailor each Storylane experience to the individual customer. By incorporating their name, business, and specific circumstances, I find that clients become more engaged and their questions are addressed more effectively.
