Storylane is a fantastic way to tell your ideas story

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is both intuitive and a breeze to use. This combined with super helpful customer support for any questions you need answering and their comprehensive documentation makes it a must have for any startup seeking to bring onboard new investors or partners. The ways in which it can enrich your product showcase are endless.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if there were more voice avatars with different accents. They were all American, so we decided to just use a voiceover so we could use a British accent. It would also be nice if it was easier to add image slides with no modal option. These are minor upgrades I believe could add extra value to the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It puts the demo storytelling in your hands, so you can produce the narrative in house without outsourcing to a third party.

Delightful tool!

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it was to capture a video screenshot demo. Adding tooltips was a breeze, too. I also love the zoom-in feature and the ability to add screens from another demo.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides as such, but the tool gets very laggy when I have a lot of screens. I wonder if deleting some screens or videos from the library (not inserted in the demo) would help?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am the primary pre-sales person giving live demos of our software. Storylane helped me create a self service demo that can be used by our sales team too, without having to involve me everytime.

What do you like best about the product?
There is a minimal learning curve. It is very intuitive and user-friendly. The demo videos can be used for multiple purposes. Whether it's a training video, a recorded demo session, or a marketing campaign, Storylane is the perfect tool for everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the application uses a lot of bandwidth. It tends to become slow when you are editing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Create an interactive demo so you can get the message about your product effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it's simple to get started, and that it allows our team to scale more efficiently by making demos available on demand.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't seen any downsides yet, it works perfectly for our use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to make our product demos available on demand, on our website and elsewhere. This allows potential customers to see the actual product, understand what it does and how it does it, and most importantly, do so whenever they feel like it!

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to build tailored demos and flows, can create click through for customers instead of needing another call to demo it live. We now use storylane as our go to rather than a live demo. the AI tools are incredibly powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
the interface to show all the slides can easily get overwhelming when there are a l;arge number of slides. works well for smaller demos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We dont always have access to live systems to demo, this means we can take recordings and use them across the team instead.
It also allows us to do a demo even if the systems have gone down without an impact to customers.

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use, very customizable, and has a lot of screen capture options. AI assistant/feature is also great - I only use it for text/message, but the voiceover feature looks very promising
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some issues with html screen capture (we experience issues with our mobile screen - when we want to do desktop to mobile screen workflow). There are also some smaller issues with UI and UX (for example when I want to edit the background screen in a guided tour and blur it, i can barely navigate through the field and zoom in). Nothing major, but still causes some inconveniences when you do a bunch of demos with 30 screenshots.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great way to do a product demo which is:
- Concise
- Not boring
- Very customizable
- Can be updated in the future without re-uploading the asset/changing links etc
- Has a great in-build analytics and tracking

What do you like best about the product?
its simplicity and intelligence, demo creation used to be a boring and laborious process, but now it is easy, simple and intelligent.
What do you dislike about the product?
some bugs as usual with all software but support is top notch

Great tool to enable your GTM organisation

What do you like best about the product?
We use Storylane to enable our GTM team about new products. What is particularly helpful is the ease of use, setting up different product demos and tracking the usage of them in one tool. You notice immediately that the Storylane team has a background in software sales and this is noticeable using the tool and understanding it better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Storylane is a young company and I had experiences of recognizing bugs within the frontend. This is not something I noticed in a very negative way and I know the product will improve over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Storylane to enable our GTM team about new products.

What do you like best about the product?
It is super easy to make the recordings and gives you lots of options for customizing them. I like that you can create your own UI theme and it's very handy that you can insert pages from other storylanes to the one you're working on. Also the many export formats are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike really, I use it a lot. Only wish: a few more customization options for the start and end overlay to create more attention grabbing CTAs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to create clickthroughs and videos of our product for our help center and marketing. It provides a more immersive user experience and clearer guidance than step by step descriptions only.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use is within anyone's reach. You can create efficient prototypes from a coded solution or even from Figma screens.
What do you dislike about the product?
No particular drawbacks on the application.

Present the platform easily on the website, have a presentation for sales post-meeting that the prospect can show in their company.
