So fast and easy!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how fast and easy it is to create screenshot demos, and the AI voiceovers you can add in to make it sound personal and fun.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing huge, works well for everything we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building Demos.
Relatively simple to use and a great interactive alternative to powerpoint.
What do you like best about the product?
It allows people to view pages of information in an interactive format. In the format of showing a client where to go and how to use our products, it gives clients a hands-on experience of our services to fully understand what we have to offer. It's intuitive for clients and is much more exciting than a simple powerpoint explaining how to use our services. For myself personally as a new starter at my work, it has been helpful to both view storylane demos for my training, and see how it is made.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing a demo can be a bit of a learning curve, but that is partly due to the breadth of controls offered. The UI could be slightly more appealing, but that's leaning on personal preference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a sort of navigatable platform where you can see step by step how to operate our services. Compared to powerpoint where you just flip through slides, these demos show exactly how to use our platform in an interactive format.
Powerful, Affordable, and Easy-to-Use Tool for Product Tours and Guided Demos
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is a great product that has allowed our small and nimble team to create impressive guided product tours and demos to embed on the website and to use as sales enablement tools. The pricing is very affordable and the platform's ease of use makes implementation much easier than you would expect. There are a lot of features that you can grow into, and a lot of features that you only find in more expensive alternatives. I haven't really needed to use customer support because the product is so intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, there are not many downsides. There are other platforms that have more robust features and I considered those, but for the price, Storylane has everything that I need in a guided demo platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed the ability to create a guided demo for our website and also have an asset to share with prospects after sales calls. This product fits the bill perfectly
Easy to build product demos and show functionality of the platform I'm selling
What do you like best about the product?
Recording a video and having Storylane track all the important milestones without needing to input them myself
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd would have like to have more capabilities around editing a demo. Storylane is really good at using AI to get 80% of the way there but I found the 20% I wanted to do once the video was done was quite limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to send quick user videos to prospects to show them how certain parts of the platform works
I love Storylane
What do you like best about the product?
Its so intuitive and I can easily use it in my outreach campaigns. As a seller who also buys things, I understand the frustrations of buyers who just want to browse around before talking to a seller.
Imagine this, you walk into Raymour & Flanigan to buy a couch and immediately as you open the door, 3 sales people are in your face asking a million questions... this is annoying is how EVERY SaaS tool operates nowadays. Cant learn anything without having to talk to someone.
Storylane is the equivalent of walking into a Raymour & Flanigan unbothered, with the ability to ask questions when you need.

What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't encountered anything I dislike so far. Once I use it more I can provide proper feedback here! It is working fantastic as of right now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making the buying process more enjoyable for my buyers.
Bringing our product to life
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Storylane brings our product to life in an interactive way. It goes beyond simply explaining how it works and its potential benefits for our prospects. Instead, Storylane empowers them to explore our product on their own, especially when they're still researching and hesitant to schedule a demo. I appreciate their AI features, particularly the AI voiceover feature, which helps reduce the text-heavy nature of our demos.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind. I've had a great experience with Storylane.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane enables us to connect with our prospects on a deeper level, bringing value to life. By providing them with a comprehensive understanding of how our product works, we empower them to grasp "what's in it for me" in a more visual way.
Storylane is critical for me in my role as a Developer Advocate
What do you like best about the product?
It gives me the opportunity to create succinct product explainers for particular features. I like that I can group them into chapters to build "choose your own adventure" types of content. I use a lot of these as the basis for creating short product features as well. After using it at 5 different companies now, I've finally gotten sales to really see the value and start to utilize it, and they are loving it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only two things. The UI is wonky as heck. I've been using it since it launched, so I've had to relearn it a number of times, and I know where pretty much everything is now, but the learning curve to use it more deeply can be a little rough. The other thing is using it for videos. They added a feature that I absolutely rely on, namely, generating a video from the demo, but it seems to be perpetually broken for months now, and it is frustrating. The support staff has been helping me with getting workable versions, but I don't understand how this feature has been broken for so long.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a complex product, so this makes it easy to isolate and demonstrate particular features and functions in the product.
A very useful and intuitive tool
What do you like best about the product?
A very intuitive and useful tool when used with the extension. Great way to showcase the product, and useful for product, sales & marketing teams. Being shareable via email gifs and embeddable on website is very useful. The AI feature is also very useful, saves a lot of time in writing the copy for different steps and usually gets it pretty close on the first try. All in all, I would highly recommend this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I can think of would be the fact you're limited to screenshots. But this tool is much cheaper than others so you get what you pay for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asking people to create a login in order to see the power of our platform is not feasible. This allows us to show people the UI of our platform without the barrier of them needing a login. Also, the user wants to be in control of their journey, they may not want a demo with a sales person. This is one step before that, which again, reduces that barrier. Ultimately the goal is to get as many people to see how our platform works as possible. This is useful for ABM purposes too.
Simplicity that makes easy creating product tours
What do you like best about the product?
We use Storylane globally to create demos of our features across multiple teams. The tool is intuitive and very easy to use. It has served us well, and the final materials greatly help customers understand our product.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I have no complaints. It integrates well with our landing pages, tracks user flow accurately, and has served us well
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since we offer new products to the market, users often struggle to visualize how they work. It’s not as straightforward as selling a bicycle. The tutorials developed with Storylane’s help give users a better understanding of the product’s functionality and the expected outcomes.
Perfect for our product walkthrough use case
What do you like best about the product?
It's an ideal solution for our product walkthrough. We wanted something that was easy to edit and that we could do using screenshots of our solution - rather than having to integrate with a design system or live site that is subject to fluid changes. It also means we can gatekeep our walkthrough to what our customers want to see, and how we want them to see it. Overall it was super simple to set up and something I can see us using regularly going forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to ability to upload fonts and type faces so we can be completely on-brand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to showcase our solution to customers not yet live on the product - meaning we can give them a heads up on what to expect once they're live, without the need for a demo call with a member of our partnerships team. It also allows us to control the version of the journey we show, and we have the ability to tailor this further in the future too with multiple versions of a demo.
