Great way to showcase software
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and can be a helpful tool for multiple departments at our company - support, marketing, and sales.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of any downsides at this time.

We have UI that is constantly changing, we can easily swap out outdated screens using Storylane.

Storylane is an amazing tool for revamping help articles and making product support more engaging. It allows you to turn static content into interactive walkthroughs that guide users step-by-step. The interface is intuitive, making it easy to create demos quickly. You can personalize your content or take advantage of their built-in AI to speed things up. It’s perfect for onboarding, training, or showcasing features in a clear and user-friendly way. I’ve found it especially helpful for simplifying complex processes. Highly recommended for any team looking to improve user experience and support!
What do you dislike about the product?
Storylane is a powerful platform with a lot of potential, but it does come with a bit of a learning curve. It takes some time to feel confident when creating demos, especially if you're new to interactive walkthrough tools. That said, their YouTube tutorials are incredibly helpful. It's clear, practical, and full of tips on how to effectively use Storylane for sales pitches, marketing, and product support. One standout feature is the HTML demo version, which really elevates the user experience by mimicking a live environment. However, it could benefit from some refinement in how the final output is presented, particularly when compared to their more polished traditional walkthrough format. Once you're up to speed, though, the platform offers a lot of flexibility and value. Overall, it’s a promising tool worth exploring if you’re looking to enhance engagement and support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane is helping solve the problem of static, text-heavy help content that users often skim or ignore. Instead of just reading instructions, people can now interact with walkthroughs step by step, almost like they’re using the real platform. For me, this has made a big difference in how we present features or processes. It’s way easier to guide someone visually than explain everything in a long article. Plus, it’s saving time on support because users can find their own answers more easily. It’s also helped make training resources more engaging, especially for those who learn better by doing rather than reading.
Quick, impactful demos with easy customization!
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane's interactive demos have truly transformed the way our team works. Our customers respond so positively to the demos that the Sales team now prefers using Storylanes over traditional slide decks. We also incorporate these demos throughout our website and in our email communications. The customization options for both text and images are flexible, making it simple for me and the marketing team to create engaging content. Integration and implementation were straightforward, and we rely on Storylane daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The back-end features continue to fall short of expectations. Basic functionalities, such as letting users favorite demos for later use, linking directly to a specific step within a demo, or hiding certain steps without having to create a whole new demo, were all requested over a year ago but still have not been added. This ongoing lack of updates leads to increased project management time and causes confusion for the Sales team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By giving prospective customers the opportunity to see what our product is and how it works, we are able to save time. This approach also helps us create more interactive sales experiences, which in turn leads to increased business.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane demos have been a success in the collaboration between product and sales, helping us to directly deliver the product value to prospects, and providing sales with an asset they can share with their prospects to shorten the sales process steps and reduce friction as well.

What do you dislike about the product?
It'd be great to have more straightforward options to natively embed Storylane demos into formats such as emails and social media (instead of linking the demo) without the need to use plug-ins or integration tools. I also encountered issues when using UTM-tagged URLs in CTAs.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane helps us showcase the value of our product directly to the prospects or product users. With Storylane we can present the value of the product to prospects in a much earlier stage. We also use Storylane to promote the usage of our products and present new features and capabilities to users. Finally, we also use Storylane to improve our customer support content, providing interactive content for product onboarding.

What do you like best about the product?
Quick customer support, super ease to use UI/UX, a lot of updates to the actual software. The tool is great, we are using it a lot in Product Marketing and it is bringing us beyond the expectations we had.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the resolutions on the events look clunky on a big screen.

It solves the problem of not having an interactive demo before haha :)

It was easy to install the extension and get my first demo up quickly. Overall the app has been working well, allowing me to prequalify prospects before I even meet with them.

The analytics portion could be stronger.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane lets us build platform journeys that buyers and clients can easily follow. We use it for step-by-step instructions as well as higher-level platform overviews. I appreciate the ability to record video/voiceover or use the AI assistant.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love the AI voiceovers to be more realistic. Lots of creative prompting to get them to sound more human.

Great tool, very customizable!
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use. Easy to use company branding and show people around in your tool. Making onboarding a lot easier.

The 'guide' is outside of the platform itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to showcase parts of our USP quickly, without having to give access to our platform and without the need of an actual person sharing screen.
An easy-to-use, flexible option for showcasing our products
What do you like best about the product?
I've found the platform really straightforward and intuitive to use, and the AI demo builder honestly blew my mind the first time I used it, with how smart it was! While it still needed a human touch to get the flow and messaging right for us, it definitely helped speed things up for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, not much comes to mind. However, as all demos are hosted within the Storylane platform, I'm conscious that if we ever end our subscription, we'll be losing the current access level and functionality around any demos we create.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've started using Storylane as a way to give prospects a better feel for our product before moving them to the trial stage: something more interactive than a video, and more engaging than our usual overview PDFs. I particularly like the clickable nature of the demos - they let users explore at their own pace and spend time on the things that they're most interested in.
