Quick and Easy Demos That Showcase the Product Well
What do you like best about the product?
After a few attempts, it's very quick and easy to use. The demos look nice and show off the product well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Minor issue, but sometimes the demos don't look as good on a mobile as the clickboxes seem to move around very slightly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I initially wanted to demo one think, so was using the free plan which was great. But then that demo got me a lead, so I wanted to give the new client their own personalised demo. Having it all pre recorded ahead of time made my life easier as it meant I could show off all the parts I wanted to.

Best-in-Class Auto-Captions for Demo Recording
What do you like best about the product?
Previous Response: I think it’s the best. I really like the auto-caption feature while recording a demo; it automatically understands what I’m showing and helps generate the captions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Previous Response: The AI voice feature isn’t that good right now, in my opinion. Also, when I export a demo as a video, it reduces the video quality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane is really helping in the marketing and product departments. The interactive demos are impressive and help people understand the product easily. With the real-time experience, it also helps improve the client and customer experience.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Storylane has simplified managing demos with its impressive flow for adding and managing new demos. The ability to record voiceovers directly within the tool adds a level of professionalism and a human touch that static tours just lack. i find their editing and duplicating capabilities top-tier because if we need to create a different version of a demo for a specific vertical, it's as easy as copying the existing framework and tweaking the tooltips in minutes. This speed of iteration is critical for our small company, as we don't have a dedicated demo engineer on staff. Implementing Storylane was one of the smoothest software rollouts I've ever seen, and the browser extension does all the heavy lifting. Their support has been excellent, and they are constantly shipping meaningful updates. The ease of use is a huge win for us, especially as it keeps demos fresh with very little effort. It's become an indispensable part of our go-to-market strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the tool is excellent overall, the AI auto prompt feature still feels a bit hit or miss for our specific technical niche. It often requires a significant amount of manual rewriting to make the guides sound like they were written by a product expert rather than a generic bot. I've also found the record video function to be a bit less polished than the HTML/screenshot capture flows. It can occasionally be a bit finicky during the upload or syncing phase, which disrupts the otherwise seamless no-code experience I've come to expect from the rest of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane solved our wasted time in the sales cycle by providing an interactive demo alternative. It reduces sales overhead and informs prospects early, allowing our team to focus on technical evaluations instead of repeating basic demos.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s very easy to create product tours with this tool. The interface is intuitive and straightforward to use, and our team was able to spin one up within just a few days.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t found anything missing yet. If I had to suggest one improvement, it might be the ability to apply tracking directly in the or , but I’m hoping the direct integration with the CRM is enough.

We can explain UI operations that are difficult to convey with text alone in real time alongside screenshots.

The Japanese text-to-speech function has not yet reached a quality suitable for practical use, so we are utilizing separately recorded audio data.

Even operations that are easy to overlook in videos require users to click the actual points they should interact with to proceed, making it easier for them to intuitively understand the controls.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use and AI features of Storylane. All of our users were able to jump right in and become productive at creating storylanes. Our support team can answer user questions quicker and more efficiently than in the past with simple screenshots. The initial setup was extremely easy, which is a huge plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm looking at a way to download the demonstrations or such and create an online help system using these. One that is hosted internally so the clients do not need access to the internet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Storylane for clearer explanations, easier training, and quick support answers. It's easy to use and enhances productivity in creating storylanes. Our support team can answer questions more efficiently now.
