What do you like best about the product?
I first started usinh Storylane a couple of years ago and it has since become one my the go to tools in my pmm tech stack.
-> I like how easy it is to create screenshot demos just by clicking around the product
-> They also let you show demos on mobile devices, and choose if you want to bypass the “screen too small” warning
-> I also like the GIF feature which I mainly use to add clickable tours to our PPT decks and onboarding emails
-> There's AI assisted translation too which comes in handy
-> They roll out new features constantly
-> It's very easy to get started + teach other people how to create tours

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing significant comes to mind, the product keeps getting better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Storylane to create clickable product tours for a variety of purposes, including:
Launching new features: These tours help internal teams and customers learn what’s new.
Giving sales early demo of an upcoming product: The fact that you can create a Storylane from screenshots means I can use mockups to create a tour and give sales and prospects a sneak-peek of how something will work, long before it's available in production.
Explaining features: Embedding tours on feature pages makes it easier for visitors to understand how things work.
Sales slides: Our sales deck now uses Storylane tours instead of static screenshots. The GIFs show how features work and are much more effective.
Testing for better conversions: I use tours on pages like the homepage to see if showing instead of telling improves conversion rates.
Showcasing use cases: For example, creating tours that guide users through specific tasks like, “Want to do XYZ? Here’s how this feature helps.”
Replacing onboarding videos: Storylane tours are quick to update (just minutes) and are embedded on our site and in onboarding emails, saving us the hassle of creating and editing videos.

Easy-to-create interactive demos that don't break the bank.
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a solo marketer with a limited budget - so when I found Storylane I was pretty hyped.
What got me to bit was their Demo Hub feature - a place that I could curate a set of demos and unite them in one place for events, campaigns, and our website.
The flexiblity to deploy/embed my demos in the ways I want/need is great too - sometimes I need a stand-alone demo and sometimes I need to embed a demo or add a popup CTA button... either way, it's all done in a few clicks and helps make my life a bit easier every day.

What do you dislike about the product?
I've had a few issues with screen cap resolution when using the Demo Hub - but I believe this is an issue with our product design as opposed to a Storylane issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a tool that let me quickly build interactive demos that I could deploy to any channel, for any use, at any time.
Pretty solid interactive demo platform
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that the learning curve is basically negligible and getting a new hire up to speed with the platform is effortless. Overall, Storylane has been a great addition to our landing pages and has helped us improve our conversions, site engagement and SEO.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, nothing comes to my mind. For the price we're paying, I think we're getting immense value out of this investment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don’t currently offer a freemium version of our software, which sometimes made it challenging for prospective customers to explore our product independently. With Storylane, I’ve been able to provide a salesperson-free experience, allowing potential customers to interact with our product on their own terms.
Smooth experience
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the clean and simple UI. Most of things are easy to master and simply work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Marketing could take it a bit easier and slower :) , the first days of my trial I received several emails daily.
Besides that, haven't experienced any serious issues yet.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane helps us create clickable demos easily which we put on our website as an upgrade to screenshots.
Amazing interactive demo platform
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane makes creating interative demos so easy, with a Chrome extension that can take screenshots or all your clicks step by step.
It gives you just the right amount of options to not be lost but still have it look like you want and make your demo answer your use case, whether you use it for prospection, to enrich your website product page, or to be used by sales teams in meetings.
I also love their feature that lets you create several links for the same demo, so you can track what team uses your content for example.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I see lacking would be something about multilingual demos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our follow up emails to prospects after a meeting, we had very few elements to remind them of the demo. Now, they can retrace the demo and send it to their colleagues to champion our platform internally during the sales cycle.
One of a Kind
What do you like best about the product?
Storylanes UI and UX is so user friendly. It's really self explanatory and easy to use. I'm a massive fan of their work and they've created something special with this software
What do you dislike about the product?
It's expensive to add team members but besides that it's awesome
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us demonstrate how to use softwares and make demos so we can instruct users
Interactive and Innovative
What do you like best about the product?
As a designer, I appreciate the customization and stylization that can be applied to your presentations and the amount of engagement it forces the viewer to experience. It gives us great analytics to see where interest was lost or to determine if the viewer has gained interest/learned from our presentation. I appreciate that it also has the ability to embed videos as well as static imagery. It is a wonderful tool to have for any marketing team!
What do you dislike about the product?
My ONLY single complaint (and this is just because it is a new feature that I am sure will grow in time) is the hub. It needs a little more custimzation on the same level as the individual presentations and the ability to password protect the hub and not have to apply it to each individual presentation. But truly, it is a small complaint and everything else works magnificently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane is providing full transparency on the user experience when they come to our presentations. We can see where someone lingered, where they left off, and gauge overall interest. It also provides an engaging way for our current customers and potential customers preview and understand our products and overall company messasge.
Very easy to use and customisable!
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is an easy-to use software that we use to create demos for our website. It allows clients to access a demo at the click of a button. Unlike traditional demos where clients have to book via a link they now have the software at their fingertips. It is more convenient for our prospects to see our software at their own time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't a lot I dislike about Storylane. The one main point would be to have more ability to change icons on the screen. I.e colour of boxes, size and shape of boxes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem Storylane is solving is the time saving of showing potential clients the software. It is freeing up our team to work more on hot leads. We also use Storylane when exhibiting at shows, it's an easy way of showing the software on a loop without standing there and clicking.
Easy way to showcare your software
What do you like best about the product?
It's and easy way to showcase your software to potential clients and to show new feature release to existing clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
the conversion of 'storylane' to video or gif for email is not stable enough
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can show our software to all clients and potential clients without having to book a demo. This way everybody can learn about our product in their own way and speed.
Great way of showcasing "hard entry" type of products
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy is to make a "hard entry" product accessible to prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customisable fonts and integration form from hubspot doesn't look as nice and UX friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating product walkthroughs for prospects and how to's demos for onboarding new clients.
