Great overall tool for clickthrough demos
What do you like best about the product?
Makes it very easy to capture complex demos and streamline into an easy to follow path. Allows a demo to be rapidly used, repeated, and shared, while also cutting out processing time or extra clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Interface can be a bit clunky at times. Capture issues with certain types of pages, usually can be fixed by escalating to support but still adds extra time to using the solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to take a complex, time consuming demo that can normally only be performed live by a sales engineer and making it easy for routine business users to show the platform.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has really transformed the way I create and share product demos / training, for both external customers, and internally within our organisation.
It really does showcase the product I want to demo so users can explore at their own pace, and this makes our demos far more engaging than a video based experience.
New features are added on a regular basis, which makes it even less likely that I need to create a video demo ever again, such ad adding in voice overs, and now with a app, allowing me to demo not just web based products, but anything on my desktop really takes it to the next level.
Support is quick to respond when I've had any issues in the past.

What do you dislike about the product?
For a small organisation, the licensing being user based is expensive, but Storylane worked with us to come up with a good solution for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
being able to create a quick demo for a specific problem, guiding a user step by step is saving so much time, compared to the old way of recording a video, a voice over, editing, and publishing. I can get demos out to users far quicker with Storylane.
Smooth and Simple User Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The professional look of videos and walkthroughs which are achieved easily. Customer support is super helpful and provided lots of insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ai voiceover is still a little robotic - would be nice to see this become more natural.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can show our clients a glimpse of our expansive system while still going into a lot of detail.
Storylane simplifies setting up product tours
What do you like best about the product?
I think the ease of setting up product tours helps a lot. We have been able to set up multiple product tours in little time. Furthermore, it's a great way to simplify semi-complex software. Integrating the tours to our website has been smooth, too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything; honestly, it has been great so far!

It provides visibility into who has viewed a demo and their contact information if they shared easily.

My experience with Storylane
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Storylane to create demos of my company's product (an engineering standards management platform). Storylane is fairly intuitive and easy to use, and the demos work well once I've created them. I was impressed with the AI voiceover tool that allows you to add voiceover to the demos. Also, our Storylane rep has been really helpful. Whenever there's an issue with creating a demo or sharing it, our rep gets back to me with an answer really quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have definitely been glitches with Storylane, for example, when creating HTML demos of our product. There have also been glitches with creating gifs to share the demo on social and with the sizing of the demos. However, I think some of this is due to our product. The rep has been very helpful with fixing these issues when they occur.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane helps us create valuable content (interactive demos) to showcase our product to prospects/current customers.
Only Getting Better
What do you like best about the product?
The product itself is intuitive and provides enough optionality to build robust product walkthroughs. My company has only used StoryLane for a few months, but have already witnessed new features rolling out consistently. Finally, the product easily integrates with HubSpot for analytics, which allows us to perform a host of additional marketing functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
However, building demos can be somewhat tedious and requires considerable fine-tuning. While there are options for creating interactive demos, StoryLane should continue to enhance visual transitions and add more features to maintain variety. This is especially important as more B2B SaaS vendors begin using StoryLane, as the medium could become repetitive.
There have been concerns about pricing from our leadership team, but as long as the company continues to expand functionality without introducing tiered pricing, I will support further procurement.

Excited to get started with Storylane!
What do you like best about the product?
We just wrapped our first implementation call with Storylane, and I’m already blown away. The onboarding was seamless, the team was incredibly helpful, and the platform is so intuitive. I’ve used other demo tools before, but Storylane’s AI features are in a league of their own.
From smart annotations to auto-generated step descriptions, the AI dramatically reduces the time it takes to create polished, engaging product walkthroughs. The ability to spin up demos quickly without needing to loop in design or engineering is going to be a game-changer for our team. This is miles above where the product was just a few months ago when only screenshots were available as an option!
Can’t wait to get our first few Storylane demos live and improve our inbound lead pipeline!
I also love that they have a startup offer so it fits in my marketing budget. :)

Nothing yet- I'll update as I go along! So far everything has been pretty intuitive.

Ability to experience the platform on-demand in an interactive way

A sales asset that your prospect will share internally and drive engagement
What do you like best about the product?
We use it as a post-demo asset mainly. This allows our champion to share with other stakeholders to get them to another meeting OR get their buy-in without meeting with us. We had a senior level stakeholder sign off on Ambition without actually meeting with us -- because she reviewed Storylane. It's incredible for explaining use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real complaints. It has been easy to setup, easy to send to prospects, easy to track engagement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Buyers want to meet with sales less and less. Now, with Storylane, we can educate them prior to a meeting or create buy-in without actually meeting them.
