Studio Creatio
Customized workflows and dashboards have streamlined service management and accelerated delivery
What is our primary use case?
Studio Creatio is a CRM product with offerings for service management, marketing, and sales management, along with some GenAI offerings.
It is a low-code/no-code platform that makes it very easy to customize and prepare workflows or dashboards in any way you see fit, allowing you to create anything you need.
Studio Creatio has a drag-and-drop interface that makes development very easy. It is a very easy tool to integrate and works on many databases, making integration straightforward as well.
What is most valuable?
My primary work involved developing workflows, developing customized dashboards, and integrating the platform with other platforms rather than working on process modeling.
Doing this work through Studio Creatio was relatively easy and fairly important.
The capabilities offered are as per industry standard and comparable to peers such as Zendesk.
What needs improvement?
Studio Creatio offers sufficient capabilities. We cannot expect Studio Creatio to scale up to the level of Salesforce because Salesforce is a much more premium product. However, Studio Creatio offers more customization.
Studio Creatio is somewhat better capable than Salesforce if you want to use CRM for service management, such as customer retaining. My understanding and feedback from customers also support this view regarding the service management aspect of Studio Creatio, which is at par or better than Salesforce.
If you actually want to spend on service management, you would rather choose a service management-focused CRM such as Zendesk. Zendesk excels in service management compared to Salesforce as well.
Studio Creatio is for customers who do not have the budget of Salesforce or Zendesk and have a very fast turnaround time. You can plug in Studio Creatio there and quickly develop and deliver on short iterations however customers require.
The problem with generative AI is that everyone is experiencing a loss of identity. A tool such as Studio Creatio, which heavily marketed itself as a low-code/no-code platform, now has Claude Anthropic offerings to compete with, and there is a possibility that it can lose its identity.
There is a possibility that a random developer can use a platform such as Claude to completely develop something that Studio Creatio was offering. My personal opinion is that the low-code/no-code capabilities are at a threat. If you see their marketing, they position themselves as a low-code/no-code offering. They are a CRM, but their low-code/no-code offering is their selling point. If I can customize and build that using other generative AI products, then Studio Creatio will be at a loss. However, Studio Creatio would still be cheaper, and they have a community of developers on whom you can fall back.
For analytics, they have standard dashboard capabilities. However, they are not a BI platform, nor do they position themselves as a competitor of Tableau. Tableau is a visual analytics platform that was acquired by Salesforce to show their dashboards. Studio Creatio would not be able to compete at that level. They have their own set of bespoke dashboards, and you can customize dashboards to your liking. Of course, you can have live offerings as well. However, there is nothing remarkable about it. If you really want a BI-capable tool, it is better to acquire licenses of such products. They do not have anything remarkable to offer apart from what they have and their customization abilities.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using the solution for more than one year.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I moved into a different role, so I am not currently working with Studio Creatio.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
I have shifted to Anthropic-based solutions.
What other advice do I have?
Standard offerings are of course present and are as per industry standard. I would rate this review a 10.
