Good Features & Great Advacements
What do you like best about the product?
Assembly AI is leveraging generative AI and the current technological trends, allowing them to introduce and provide amazing and better features as well as good accuracy in their engines along with added services.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel they can explore the generative AI specs more deeply and introduce more features rather than traditional Q&A, in order to provide better usability and product lookout of their offering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are solving the speech to text and helping us convert calls and voice recordings into text allowing us to utilise NLP based models in order to gain and provide insights

Most accurate Speech to text model for telephony audio data transcription.
What do you like best about the product?
Service is super easy to integrate via APIs whose documentation is available in multiple languages on their website so setting up their service is super easy for developers. Apart from this you pay for what you transcribe i.e they charge based on no. of hours of transcription.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their model's accuracy on telephonic Audio data performs much better than competitors but transcribes poorly in the case of Audio having high background noise and disturbances.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Extracting meaningful information from spoken language-based data is becoming essential for language-based startups and the ones who are trying to automate and improve their services. Training models require in-depth domain knowledge of machine learning and AI. assembly makes it easier to perform these tasks in a much simpler way without the need for in-depth domain knowledge in Language-based AI & ML.

All my clients are very impressed with the quality of the transcription, we moved from a competitor to Assembly. I am very excited to see where this business goes as they are ahead of the game already and still so new!

Nothing at the moment. Anything support we need, they are on hand to help.

One of the smartest decisions we made!
What do you like best about the product?
Changing our transcript provider to AssemblyAI was probably one of the smartest decisions we made. Not only the accuracy is better but they support cutting edge features that can empower your product to do more. We did a benchmark across multiple providers and they were the clear winner. The team is great, super responsive and does a great job keeping us informed about new features and updates.

Nothing that I can recall at the moment.

Clean and super accurate transcription + audio intelligence features that make our product shine!
Speech to text apps
What do you like best about the product?
Instead of having to type out everything that you need you can speak and transcript is provided so it saves alot of time with my school work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes like with all technology you do have to change words that the computer software heard but that you really didn't say.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves me alot of TIME.

Get it if you have to write alot with your work or school.
Great, but not best in the market
What do you like best about the product?
It’s great for the price but for people working with developers this software may be an expense avoided. I’ve used Google speech to text which also works.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are more features using the Google software, and there’s more accuracy as well. This software was certainly helpful but I’ve had more success with Google.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s good for converting and translating speech, especially when it comes to video transcription which is a big part of my role.

It’s great to use when playing a video to transcribe quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy information upload and the software is much quicker than what I used to use. The text feature is very accurate and I’ve had only minor issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there could be improvement with accuracy for translation but otherwise much better than other softwares available on the market.

This API software helps with our company translation a great deal, synthesis is much quicker.

Be in a quiet area for the software to work best, it minimizes the rate of errors.

Pay per second, lower prices than Google, highly accurate transcription, very easy setup

Sometimes requests can be slow, but they're working on that!

We provide automated mock interviews, and Assembly AI helps us convert the speech into text for automated analysis!
Easy to customize for custom vocabulary
What do you like best about the product?
We need to recognize a lot of proper nouns unique to our use case, and with the word boost feature, we can do that on a per-API-call basis.

I can't think of anything, overall everything has met my expectations!

We use AssemblyAI to transcribe tutorial videos for our product's help/training center

Accuracy on English recordings is great and was really easy to get into production
What do you dislike about the product?
We have to use another API for Spanish transcription, but it's easy enough and allows us to use AssemblyAI for English transcription since in our comparison we found AssemblyAI to be the most accurate for English transcription
