Alida is one of the BEST!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the built-in support system Alida has for all of its partners. They are one of the most responsive companies I have ever worked with, which really makes us feel valued/
What do you dislike about the product?
Alida still has some work to do to play on the same field as a Qualtrics. I'd like to see more capabilities for building out crosstabs and dashboards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alida is helping my company address gaps in our current data.

The user interface is easy to understand and use.

Small features that usually exist but I can't find / understand because I'm new to the program.

Agile Tool for Quant/Qual Research Community
What do you like best about the product?
We use the Alida platform for our quant/qual online research community.
Alida’s strengths based on my experience:
1) Robust in-platorm survey programming tool that allows us to store all of our member and survey data in one place for easy analysis. We used to rely on an external tool to program surveys with advanced logic.
2) Flexible member data capabilities that allow us to create new profile variables and append external customer data as needed.
3) Modern look & feel of the Member Hub and improved survey-taking experience.
4) Smooth in-platform recruitment process that can be used for external recruits as well as internal referrals. Huge time saver compared to our previous recruitment process.
5) Impressive client support from the Alida team. They are collaborative, attentive, and dedicated to meeting our community’s unique needs.

What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, there are no moderator tools (in-platform messaging, backroom comments, etc) in the Member Hub and no way for members to easily track their points or activity completion history. This is a problem for our community, but Alida is actively working with us towards a solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alida provides the quant survey tools and member data management that were lacking in our previous platform. We have much better analysis capabilities now.
Confusing due to the many learning curves involved.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Alida provides transcripts with a keyword search feature, making it easy to find key insights and create highlight reels.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Alida difficult to use due to frequent tech glitches, a complex interface, and a lack of integration with Outlook or other platforms.

It allows for scheduling and videoing all in one platform.

I've had the pleasure of using Alida for several projects, and I'm consistently impressed by its capabilities. Alida has become an invaluable tool in our quest to deliver actionable consumer insights to our clients.

Easy to program and distribute surveys both to the recruited community as well as database customers.

Lack of AI capabilities. Reporting tools / analytical capabilities are outdated.

Simple platform but not entirely user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Alida is an easily accessed tool and useful for daily needs for guest sentiment.
What do you dislike about the product?
You cannot preset rotational survey changes on the system, leading to difficulty in changing. For example, I am the only person in my team, I do not have anyone else to cover in my absence or day off in a 5/7 business so it can be challenging to change the rotations based on business planning.
I also find it non-user friendly in terms of extracting data and guest comments for an analysis purpose and involves using extra AI platforms.
My needs of the Alida platform is purely to extract data and understand themes, emotions and common problems in comments from guests, alongside NPS etc

Alida allows us to rotate surveys based on different themes
Quant-heavy panel tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to send surveys to the panel is great and the back end reporting for those projects work well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It needs more work for moderating qualitatively. If a member comments on a post it's hard to go back and have a back and forth conversation because you can't find the original post. It's hard to create a community collaboration feeling

We have ongoing surveys with members and previously were using a more qualitative focused tool. This allows us to manage reporting better.
Extremely valuable
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that we didn't just get a software suite and left to our own devices, but instead have a support team assigned to us has been invaluable. The community management aspect as been extremely helpful. And the software itself is extremely useful as well. Being able to create custom member groups, profile variables, etc. All very helpful. I also find the survey creation tool very usable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much focus on mobile testing features. If the mobile app allowed sharing their phone screen while in a call, we'd be able to use Alida for our full testing processe. As it stands, we use Alida to recruit for playtests, but then conduct the playtests through Microsoft Teams on their phone, allowing them to share their screen while in a call.

Helps us recruit players for playtests, both locally and remote across North America. Keeps our members engaged, increasing their likelihood to respond to playtest recruitment surveys.
