Everything I've Been Looking For!
What do you like best about the product?
It's so user-friendly. I love the look and layout of everything. It's aesthetically pleasing as well as highly functional. All of my coworkers are loving it!
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything yet to complain about. Maybe the fact that I wish it could export to an excel workbook vs. just a CSV.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We made the switch from Google AppSheet to Airtable and it's been one of the best decisions. I needed something that could help me stay organized.
A relational database like Airtable is a game changer
What do you like best about the product?
Linking multiple buckets of information together to form a complex, but accurate picture. Record customizations and table views are limitless!
What do you dislike about the product?
No offline access, the date and time field is hard to work with for schedule-type records, calendar view customization is limited (almost unusable if many records are shown in a day), and print views need more customizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In past years, my organization had up to 10 different Excel or Word documents all referencing the same information for a month-long event. Any changes made to 1 needed to be changed in all other documents. With Airtable, we can eliminate all documents and simply have Airtable always up to date and changes show up for every organization and contact that we use.
A more powerful Excel
What do you like best about the product?
While I haven't build a base or interface from scratch, we currently use Airtable to manage our headcount. While this is task where excel may be commonly used, leveraging Airtable instead has allowed us to automate many parts of the workflow seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be tough to understand the different components of Airtable (base, interface, etc). We have many layers to our Headcount management base which can be hard to understand where the data lives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't currently have a headcount tool. Airtable is able to be our one stop shop for stakeholders to submit requests, review data, etc. while we can set up automations on the back end to streamline the process.
Airtable is One of My Go-To Tools I Can't Live Without
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is like a spreadsheet on steroids, and the projects you can use it for are endless. I use it to do things like:
- Host a list-building bundle so I can automate sending relevant emails and create a sales page in Softr
- House all of my digital product surveys and reviews so I can get feedback from students and customers
- Create beautiful interfaces so I can see my data and take action
- And so much more
It's a tool I can't live without in my business, and it integrates with so many things. If you're looking for a robust project management tool, Airtable may be the perfect one for you.

What do you dislike about the product?
There really aren't any least helpful features, but I think it can be a little tricky to learn how to use it at first because it is different. But once you get past those beginner issues, it's easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I really love that I can easily connect Airtable to tools like Softr and Fillout. You can make beautiful forms in Fillout, and house all your data in one location. I also love that it integrates with Softr, so I can create self-updating landing pages for sales like Black Friday, when every business has different sales dates. No more manually updating these pages in the middle of the night. I also use it for my affiliate program. I connect it to Softr and create an affiliate hub that makes promoting easy for my affiliates.
Need Time to Learn
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to create spreadsheets and adding more data. The ease of finding information and being able to star what need. I am sure for larger nonprofits, businesses, and educational systems, Airtable is great. My predecessor was introduced to Airtable by an educational institution.
What do you dislike about the product?
I lost a few years of data because I didn't know changing information would wipe out data. I made a copy of the survey I wanted to change. The new survey wasn't even in the system. Instead the answers were linked to a previous year's survey although questions were different.
Downloading everything should be simple. Also would like to have option of downloading as pdf file rather than excel spreadsheet, or downloading individual files.
Also have issues with integrations to other systems using.
The cost even for nonprofits...are small and having to pay per seat is not financially sound for us. The frequency of use is low because more people need access to information.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now, I don't see any benefit of Airtable since we only pay for a few seats and those who have access to Airtable don't use it.
I actively try to convince people I know to use AirTable
What do you like best about the product?
Not having to re-do work every time we want to look at something in a different way - the views options are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
automations are not instinctive to set up and really hard to do without prior programming knowledge
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The number of live documents we have going, the re-work of research - we can create a media inventory now so we do not have to re-do research for every single project when we know we repeat topics a lot for a variety of clients
Certified Airtable Developer
What do you like best about the product?
Functionality. Interface. Capabilities. In particular, automations.
What do you dislike about the product?
LIMITS!!! Limits are EVERYWHERE with Airtable; limits that handicap the platform's amazing potential. For instance, limits on automation runs are simply ABSURD!
Limits on AI use is also an issue.
Besides, speed when you have to run automations on larger blocks of data is unacceptably slow.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I build solutions for other companies.
We love Airtable!!
What do you like best about the product?
We have talked for years about developing an internal database, most likely in FileMaker Pro but never found a solution we were excited about. In under 4 weeks, we have 7 Bases, we use make.com to automate uploads directly to our Google Drive, we use the built in Agents to search for web articles and generate LinkedIn posts, and more!!
What do you dislike about the product?
I am looking forward to more robust integrations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We created an internal database so every employee has access to information, rather than it living in department silos. It will be the main access point for our Google Drive, and run an automation to rename file names and upload documents directly into Google Drive (using make.com)
Endless Possibilities and Functionality
What do you like best about the product?
I like the automations and integrations that are possible. We have an on premises database and use Crystal Reports for most of our reporting, but through Make integrations I've been able to get some data from our database into Airtable, which then allows for endless functionality (including texting!). I use integrations daily to help me with certain tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I will say that getting set up on the Business account took some time, including customer support being a little slow to respond. There's also a quite a steep learning curve without too much helpful documentation if you are using external solutions like Make. It's also not exactly the easiest to set up. I use AI to help set up a lot of my projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automations have been huge. Importing data through Make into Airtable allows me to get access to insights and connect with clients.
Advanced Yet Easy To Use
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is as advanced or as simple as you need it to be. It keeps our team organized across a multitude of projects, marketing initiatives, content, and more. I use it to keep vendor contracts in order, a schedule for emails, blog posts, and more. Comment back and forth to colleagues. It's amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really haven't found many. Cross-linking things can sometimes be confusing, but that could be user error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Content organization, team organization.
