Stop using spreadsheets! Really, just stop.
What do you like best about the product?
The developers are constantly working to improve, there's a terrific community forum full of useful insight and suggestions, and it's easy to share a base with others. It's as easy to use as a spreadsheet, and so much more powerful. I find myself constantly making an empty base and using it just to make some simple data cleanup. On top of that, with the terrific formula support, internal automations, and tons of extensions there is almost no end to what you can accomplish with your data. They have a generous free tier that allows you to create an unlimited number of bases, invite a few friends, and have as many as 1200 records in each base. For home users, it's almost a no-brainer. I've tried some alternatives and haven't found one that's as easy to work with, or that has good formula support.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things that feel like limitations. One of my favorite database products is Filemaker, and its 'portal' feature is fantastic. I'd love to see something similar in Airtable. Yes, you can link tables, and perform lookups or rollups to pull data in from other sources (including syncing from other bases). It's just not the same.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Several. I've used it to merge data sources and clean up the results. Our company uses it to develop content. I've set up tables and bases to track and understand the permissions in cloud services, or keep track of all the cloud services we use (pricing, payment schedule, cost per user, etc). I have syncs set up to automatically show users in products. Set up a base to generate and post 'tip-of-the-day' in Slack. Another to calculate the usage in Make automation. Truly an all-around useful tool, and almost anything can be done without subscribing.
Easy to use and powerful
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to learn, and has lots of useful features. Intuitive interface. Regularly updating and improving.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have things I dislike. It just works
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable tracks my leads, portfolio, and contacts,
Great database for no code projects
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable's API is easy to use. It integrates well with Make and Zapier and can work as a database/admin panel for many kinds of no-code projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is more like a spreadsheet than an admin panel so it's easy to delete or overwrite data if you are not careful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to create a backend/admin panel/database for no code projects.
Just when you thought spreadsheets couldn't get any better- Airtable proves otherwise!
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many things I could name here! The versatility, the features, how easy it is to collaborate and share, the integrations, the solutions this platform provides and streamlines to make staying organized so easy and aesthetically pleasing. I could go on but those are top of mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is that I didn't find Airtable sooner! Although that is more of a me problem haha.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is helping me stay organized in my business and in my life. I am able to keep things top of mind and check project statuses at a glance. This helps me to ensure I meet my by-whens without being stressed out trying to remember where I made what note (in my phone, on a piece of paper, a voice note...I used to be so disorganized) because I am able to keep all info in a "Notes" column for the corresponding project in my Airtable!
Changed my business in the best possible way.
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a freelance architect and have been looking for the right project management software for YEARS. Finally, a software friend recommended Airtable. I actually paid my friend to build my framework since he was so familiar with Airtable and it is AWESOME. I use it to manage my work flow, make sure I don't overbook myself, AND project my earnings. It's been a huge game changer for my business. It's saved me so much time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would have taken me a lonnnnnng time to build the framework myself. I'm glad I had my friend to help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing my work load, project flow, and financial projections.
Airtable makes anyone a master at organization
What do you like best about the product?
It easily acts as a single source of truth so that everyone on a project's team has the visibility they need. It prevents duplicate work from being done and makes it simple to go back and get data when you're looking to evaluate the impact of your efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, the pricing is the worst part. I think you all should move away from charging by the user because it's not realistic for agencies or large companies who have teams of people hopping in and out of airtable even if it's just to QA or get visibility into something, or peek at a branding doc, etc. Also, I think that Airtable has amazing capabilities but charging by the seat put all the pressure of maintenance on a single person or a few people. I bet AirTable is very underutilized by customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping multiple projects for multiple client accounts organized. Unfortunately, because of the seat pricing, my clients are reluctant to use it and getting buy-in for them to utilize it is hard. It would work so much better is both were invested in it.
Also, it makes running a content calendar so easy, and is great to catalog resources like ebooks, whitepapers, etc.

What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
THE SHARE BUTTON COULD BE MORE ACCURATE WHEN SHARING FILES
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
EVERYTHING SEEMS EASY ON airtable I BENEFIT OF IT
"Versatile" is a term that doesn't do justice.
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is a new universe there it took an arbitrary visual language (spreadsheets) and took it to new levels in different dimensions in many industries. I like the options it offers; from productivity templates to the fact that I can use it as a backend database for landing pages!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I feel a bit lonely discovering this thing; the whole community should accompany it as a live event. A mentorship program would be handy for new users (future big customers).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

2. Database organization (richer formats)
3. Collaboration features (remote working)
4. Simple backend for my landing pages.
5. Selective sharing features between team members.

Better and more intuitive than Excel
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is like Excel on steroids, but with much more built-in, intuitive functionality. It's VERY easy to learn and to teach others to learn, even those who are not very tech-savvy
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features that would make it a little more convenient to truly integrate Airtable into our workflow are not available on the free plan. Working for a non-profit, we don't have the budget to pay for Airtable
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to quickly group (or ungroup) records to track the data we need in various ways has been invaluable and absolutely saves our team time because we don't need several different reports or spreadsheets to accomplish this.
In love with airtable, it solved my life
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable gave me the opportunity to upgrade my small business operations from a pile of spreadsheets to an integrated ERP tailored to our needs for a fraction of the price of dedicated, ready-made software.
It makes my work and my staff's easier, quicker, more organized and productive and on top of all that, with automations and integrations it takes lots of tasks off of our hands plus avoids mistakes

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an intermediate plan before enterprise to access more functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From Bill of Materials for cost an price calculation and instant quotes on custom-made products, to planning and reporting of marketing actions and assets, through inventory, sales and purchases.
