From disparate lists to interconnected insights, Airtable finally clicks
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Airtable is that it has incredible graphics in dealing with diverse content. We store a massive collection of course information which consists of video clips lesson outlines quiz banks and image resources. Airtable can hold all these different variety of files automatically with the results that have the same records and then present them cohesively in gallery or calendar forms. It implies that we do not experience the need to tie external folders to rows of spreadsheets anymore.
What do you dislike about the product?
Other times the initial configuration of certain automation chains feels less natural than I would prefer. Even simple workflows require a certain time to understand the exact logic required to perform more complex workflows without prior experience in similar tools. Along the same lines we can also be a little clunky to generate a truly custom print ready report directly off our base. We tend to take the data and then out them on a different program where we finally format it and then print it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our greatest challenge was organizing all our digital asset and their progression in all our hundreds of online modules before Airtable. The files were all over the place on different cloud drives, email attachments and among the desktops of individual team members. Given that we began working with Airtable we have one unified platform on each of our contents. We save so much time on seeking the right version of a video or a lesson plan to apply and utilize it instead in the development and improvement of our education programs.

What do you like best about the product?
Its flexibility and structure.
Airtable gives you the best of both worlds: the familiarity of a spreadsheet with the power of a relational database. I can link subs to jobs, roll up how many jobs they’ve filled, and filter or sort based on nearly any criteria — without writing code. The ability to automate workflows (like sending job claim confirmations or alerting admins) adds real efficiency, and the Interfaces tool makes it feel like a custom-built dashboard tailored for my school.
Plus, being able to customize field types, control visibility, and align the look with Brownell Talbot’s branding gives it a professional polish that you don’t get with a plain spreadsheet.

Flexible and User-Friendly Platform That Adapts to Any Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Airtable is how easy it is to customize and build workflows without needing technical skills. It combines the simplicity of a spreadsheet with the power of a database, making it perfect for project tracking, content planning, and collaboration. The interface is intuitive, drag and drop friendly, and supports views like Grid, Kanban, Calendar, and Gantt so each team can work the way they prefer.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Airtable is powerful, some of the more advanced features like syncing between bases or custom scripting are locked behind higher tier plans. Also, when bases grow very large, performance can slow down a bit. But for most use cases especially for small and mid-sized teams, these aren’t major issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable solves the problem of disorganized workflows and scattered data across tools. Instead of using separate spreadsheets, task trackers, and note apps, we now manage everything from campaigns to internal operations in one place. It improves team alignment, reduces duplication of work, and allows us to easily share structured data in a visually clear and editable format.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Airtable is definitely its incredible flexibility combined with the database structure – it's way more powerful than a spreadsheet. You can create custom field types like checkboxes, attachments, linked records, and dates, which makes organizing any kind of information super visual and practical. I also love the different views; being able to instantly switch from a grid view to a calendar, Kanban board, or gallery view for the same data set is a game-changer for project management and content planning. Linking records between tables means everything is connected, like linking client contacts to all their projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Airtable is that the cost can escalate quite a bit as you add more users or need features from higher tiers, making it pricey for smaller teams or individuals needing more than the basics. For simple list-making, it can sometimes feel like overkill and maybe a bit complicated initially if you just need a quick note or checklist. While powerful, getting into the nuances of automations or complex formulas has a steeper learning curve than I'd like sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is fantastic at solving the problem of scattered, disconnected information living in separate spreadsheets, docs, and emails. Before Airtable, I’d have one sheet for tasks, another for contacts, a document for project details, and emails for feedback – managing everything felt like juggling. Now, Airtable brings all that related information into one dynamic, connected system. It benefits me by giving a single source of truth, allowing me to see dependencies, track progress across different projects easily, and significantly reduces manual updates and the risk of things falling through the cracks.
Excel on steroids with amazing developer experience
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to use a database easily by both technical and non technical people. It has helped tremendously to communicate ideas clearly between me and my non technical colleagues to understand data and visualize it easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is an amazing tool for MVPs, quick iteration over products or easy communication between tech and non-tech people but for me as we go for advanced use cases i would prefer other advanced solutions instead of Airtable

1. Airtable's ease of use, integration and being able to be edited both visually and programmatically allowing both technical and non-technical people to use it has been the major advantage in using it.
2. As startup people, it helped us in focusing more on our idea rather than implementation. Because of it's excel like structure, it's extremely easy for us to iterate and test ideas quickly.
3. For vibe coding Airtable is the best database one can use, not only the docs are easy to understand but almost every LLM out there has great knowledge about it resulting in very smooth experience while building apps using vibe coding.

A great task management tool
What do you like best about the product?
We use Airtable primarly to allocate and schedule tasks for each team member. It has a lot of customisable options and features that helps us prioritise and work on tasks that requires the most importance. It makes the team workflow much more efficient with collabrative tools and integration into slack which is our preferred mode of communication in our team. We use it on a daily basis
What do you dislike about the product?
Considering our current workflow, there are no downsides in using this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With countless number of tasks and alternating deadlines, using airtable brings in a structure and order that is invaluable for a company. Allocating indiviudal and team tasks correctly to the right people is easy with Airtable. Working has been so much more efficient with this software.

What do you like best about the product?
I especially like the insanity of flexibility of Airtable in terms of dealing with various types of information. Its various viewing option is a game changer since I can view data the way I so need it, be it a kanban board of tasks or a calendar of the deadlines. The functionality of relating records on other tables is also excellent in relating the related projects and client information. This gives an impression of working with a complex data set that is quite natural and organized. I can find example that I can tie a certain marketing campaign to all of its corresponding creative assets and even to its budget with ease. It actually turns stinky spreadsheets into created order visual databases.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing plan may also be somewhat costly especially when it comes to bigger teams which require high-level functions. Some very important features will have a lock that feels like jumping. At the same time as being powerful the more advanced the automation capabilities are they may require a learning aspect in the beginning. Coming up with the capability of creating genuinely custom workflows requires some time and effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to Airtable, the information on our team projects was spread in different spreadsheets and various tools. Monitoring of activities and getting to know the project status was a sloppy nightmare that needed continuous adjustments manually. Today, thanks to Airtable, everything is in one common place. There is a single source of truth of all projects assets and clients interactions. This would reduce time spent in information search and enable one spend more time working. Our working processes have been so streamlined and we can easily tell where everything lies which is a big plus in productivity.

What do you like best about the product?
I am intensely in love with how Airtable manages to merge the characteristics of a spreadsheet with the strengths of a database. What it actually means is that I can prepare a complicated table such as a project pipeline or a content calendar with an unbelievable ease. It is extremely convenient that different views such as a Kanban board or gallery view can be switched. This actually allows our team to visualize data in the best manner we can in every task.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I do not particularly like is that Airtable can turn too expensive very soon as your team scale up or as you require more capabilities. At the start, it is a bit steep of a learning curve to establish complex automations or entrenched bases.

Prior to Airtable, our crew was literally lost in disorganized spreadsheets and email threads to follow projects. Much valuable information resided in different locations so that one could not have a clear picture of the level of progress achieved. These days everything about our projects is in Airtable in one place and easily accessible. This implies that there is only one truth when it comes to each task and deadline. We are saving hours of each week that were spent on manual updates and tracking information. Our teamwork has also been greatly enhanced since each of us knows the current status of a project at all times.
