Airtable
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has sleek functionality and the sky is the limit for creative developers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable has massive capabilities that can take time and energy to learn. It is not easy to build to its most capable functions without some experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization of complex programs across multiple locations.
One of my absolute favorite tools that I use daily!
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is so flexible and has many amazing features. They are also often improving the platform and do seem to have an ear out for their customers' wants and needs. I love how easy it makes collaborationg and sharing data on various levels with different views of the same data set. It makes creating and maintaining databases easy. It's also helpful that they include native automations that help optimize processes, especially around maintenance. And their new interface feature is awesome (though it can use some continued improvements) as it makes it eas to share visualization of the data and improves user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any tools and softwares, there are some gaps here and there. I think for my team, their billing and the confusion around how users shift in tiers has been the #1 pain point but the team has always been kind and helpful from the beginning (even when we only had two paid accounts).
As for general functionality, we wish there were a way to let people submit changes to their own data without requiring a paid account or workaround. Would love to see a portal type function without having to add a third party tool but really this is just a bonus. I also get a little frustrated with how record IDs function in automations. For some things, you can't access the record's ID if it's not a field in the actual base. The search record tool in automations is not often as helpful as it could be. Usually, I'd like to use the found record in an action but because it acts as a list of multiple records it doesn't always work out, so I have had to use workarounds.

Airtable helps us on so many different levels! It helps us create and maintain databases of people and data that we can share internally and easily have a public view embedded into our website or resources for our external audiences to access. It easily gives us control over who can see what information. It gives us the power to create out own databases without having to outsource for something more complicated when not really necessary. I also feel like it's much easier for me to sort and draw connections between data with Airtable, even for simpler items like expense tracking.
Flexible database collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite things have been Airtable's flexibility and relatively low learning curve. My team has used Airtable for everything from high-level project plans and performance tracking to web content management and to-do list minutiae.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found a downside yet. It's an extremely rare thing for me to not have some pet peeves about a software solution, but I honestly have no "I wish Airtable..." peeves. I've been able to adapt it to every use case so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves so much time, reduces email burden, keeps work transparent. Has helped us drastically streamline some internal processes (such as managing multi-author/reviewer content management processes and linking formerly-separate things like project work plans, performance management, and reporting processes together).
Airtable has helped me in my career and personal life.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of configuration, data manipulation, and aesthetician of Airtable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost structure, it makes it so you almost have to get a paid plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing ux research insights in an easily searchable way.
Effective PDF organization
What do you like best about the product?
I like the automatic linking of different fields, ability to access info through multiple devices
What do you dislike about the product?
The PDFs crash if you accidentally swipe sideways in mobile which is frustrating. Wish I could freeze a frame in mobile to always see, sometimes difficult to organize fields
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps organize multiple aspects of a single item
I use Airtable every day
What do you like best about the product?
I like it because it is low code and integrates with so many apps that I use. I managed my data well, but it also makes it accessible to me through other apps. I literally use Airtable multiple times daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Recently, image URL's are becoming temporary. That is one thing I would like the Airtable team to reconsider.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable has allowed me to keep 800+ records organized without using endless spreadsheets. It was the spreadsheet killer for me.
The backbone for all automations using API
What do you like best about the product?
The generous free plan limits that comes with API access.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been using it for months and until now it has answered all my needs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to send data from other tools into Airtable, do some data transformations and then send it to another destination. I've used it for dashboards, social media management, sales reporting, etc.
How did we ever live without AirTable?
What do you like best about the product?
AirTable allows you to house all of your ideas / work / tasks and group them however you need, be it by category, priority, date and more - you can then create actionable views that allow you to focus on the highest value / biggest impact changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, unless you have a very clear idea of what you're trying to do - it can feel overwhelming, but once you get to grips with everything it can do, it's game changing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clear prioritisation and grouping of hypotheses & ideas allowing for clear management, reporting & insights that can then be fed into future iterations for data-driven decisions.
Amazing tool for all
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is an easy to use information solution for people who know nothing about your bases and can barely use a spreadsheet. The intuitive interface and robust help center ensure that anyone can succeed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I understand air table needs to make money, but I wish more features were included in the "free" plan, or available on a per-use basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Airtable to manage film festival's, arts, events, personal collections, condo, associations, nonprofit organizations, and much more.
No limits
What do you like best about the product?
It is an awesome tool. It lets you organize your information, align teams, set limits, and change the views to whatever fits your needs best. It has all kinds of integrations and automatizations, which I love.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is an awesome free tool, the paid plan is totally worth it for the first tier. But it is too expensive to work with teams, so our whole team uses the same profile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
And sols the data storage issue, the automatization issue, the funnel and draft order issue. I have over 30 automatic sessions, with more than 300 steps. I have around six external apps connected to it. It is the core of my business operations.
