The best mobile databasing experience.
What do you like best about the product?
The dead simple mobile UX. Way better than traditional spreadsheet apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is convincing people to not default to using GSheets and such.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping custom data current with my phone.
Like a web Swiss Army Knife
What do you like best about the product?
Being web-based, it's available to all my staff on whatever device they are using. We love the barcode scanning capability to keep track of IT Assets and their serial numbers. API access also allows for automation through email triggers and services like Zapier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've noticed that the iOS app isn't able to use the full camera features - like macro mode - which would be really useful for scanning tiny barcodes from product boxes!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Airtable as our IT Asset register to track what assets we have, where they are and who is using them. Since multiple users can be editing the register at the same time, this allows us to be more productive.
In-depth ability to organize
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable allows me to add specific fields and format calendars and data a lot easier than using Google Sheets. I like that I have access to drop down lists and can display information using different views, like calendars for social posting.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a lot of time to setup and I also find it can be harder to bring in team members that are used to simpler interfaces. They are less likely to interact and use the bases to their full capability. I also have found it hard to link to items like image files, etc. and uploaded images tend to be harder to find for others reviewing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable solves the problem of being able to get very specific and organized without the formatting and limitations of sheets. You can view data differently and connect it in a better way.

Able to organize all the user interview notes and cross reference

The condition of the table column is a bit complex to understand

The Best Data Organizer
What do you like best about the product?
It streamlines workflows so efficiently. We use Airtable to keep track of our financial requests. We have had fewer errors than ever before.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can do a better job at calculations, it would be nice to have excel-type capabilities.

Streamlining and keeping track of tasks in the office.

They are rolling updates out so fast that it has effected our architecture. Using the current product vs. what existed 18 months ago, I would've built my base differently.

Collaboration, gathering information from team members, sharing and communicating information, reducing manual processes, increased use of automations.
The quickest way to organise datasets
What do you like best about the product?
I love the interface,especially how I can fly through my bases with keyboard navigation

Pricing has tripped me up a couple of times when wanting to collaborate on short term projects

I'm able to quickly enrich data sets and I love how nicely it integrates with lots of other tools I use, especially webflow.
Best organization software for an organization FREAK
What do you like best about the product?
I love the colors, and how you can organize not only your data but the way you see your data. It is so easy to work with forms that will go directly into your database, it makes it easy not to forget your to-dos! I highly recommend the software for any organization purpose.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is quite a learning curve to learn how to take advantage of all the built-in tools, but it is totally worth it!

Airtable makes handling current and incoming information, the software is highly flexible. Once you use it, you can't live without it!
A great tool to have an overview of all my projects
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is very helpful in managing one's workflow. With a glance, I can have an accurate view of how every project is currently going. Its gorgeous design helps the user to navigate smoothly from one task to another. Airtable offers different views: Gallery, Calendar View, Tasks List, or my favorite, Kanban. In the Kanban view, for example, the cards easily rearrange according to your interests and are highly customizable. I also love how easy it is to learn; I am indeed a basic user, but it is always good to have tools with a non-steep learning curve. Lastly, the mobile app works great.
What do you dislike about the product?
As I use Airtable in solo mode, I find the extensions not valuable for me. I have the sense that this tool has a lot of potential for teams, but I would like more options for individual users. Airtable implemented the Gannt View more than one year ago, so there are team options that can also be valuable to soft users like me. The other thing I dislike is the lack of cheaper options; 10 dollars/month seems a little expensive for how I use this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable helped me precisely organize my research. Since I began to use it (back in 2018), I have a much more accurate map of how every academic article is going. In addition, I have included several fields so that I know at every moment what I need: deadline, funding, coauthors, the area of study, resources I need, and so on. So, to sum it up in a phrase, Airtable provided "peace of mind" because it allowed me to have my research always in order.
Great solution for workflow management and MVP

Easy to learn - started with templates and quickly modified to meet my own needs
Super consistent navigation. They do a great job of applying standards across functions so you can easily find or search
Robust. Lots of ways to explore.
I think of Airtable a little like my Mac. It is super powerful, but doesn't put all the functionality right out front - this means learning is fast and easy, but feature set is deep when you are ready for it.

Reporting capabilities are weak. I'd love to be able to show year over year graphs or charts and there just isn't a way.
Interfaces are great - I love that it's native and doesn't require clunky connections. But, would love more ways to personalize (colors, links, etc.)

Great workflow tool. I was formerly a heavy SmartSheet user and this is much better.
