Powerful database that helps to connect stakeholders with critical information
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is a flexible database that enables several teams at Yubico to manage content creation and to then share it out in various views so our stakeholders can quickly and easily find the content they need. We use Airtable to track our customer interactions around advocacy which helps us to pace our asks of advocates to provides a clear record of advoacates who are truly engaged with Yubico.
We have other marketing teams that use Airtable to manage content they are creating and help with scheduling the content they will issue on social channels as well as campaigns that the content will support. The flexbility that Airtable provides enables different teams to manage their own bases and to do support completely unique use cases.
Airtable is used daily by different teams and the sheer ease of use has enabled success across teams. Our stakeholders love the easy access and quick answers that our various views provide them.
Having used Airtable at two companies I have seen teams of all sizes benefit from what can be created, developed, managed and supported in Airtable.
This flexibility of the database is a major strength of Airtable. The easy integration across our various teams is also a major benefit. Some of the new features will be a benefit as we expand our use of the database in the coming year.

What do you dislike about the product?
Working on formulas by myself has not been very easy for me. I have been able to lean into Airtable support to help me work through creating the proper updates to my bases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For customer advocacy, we are using Airtable as a foundational platform for our program. I use it to track customer leads, requests, and progress content and as a way to share live and available content. This helps me to stay on top of our customer advocacy program.
For our social team, they use it to plan out their social posts and to enable their delivery across social channels in an organized fashion.
For Campaigns, they have used it to help our agency and team members be aligned on themes, campaigns and planning.

More than a cloud spreadsheet
What do you like best about the product?
I like using it as essentially a database, with tables that have relationships between them, calculations I can just set once (rather than having to ensure it's in every cell of a column) and that use the names of the columns rather than an abstruse column letter, and easy ways to create forms to fill it in and charts to show the results.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I would like to have the flexibility of a plain spreadsheet, to put something else in the mix. But usually when such a situation arises, a bit more thought reveals that I really should be doing something else, like embedding the results in a page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving two related problems in one area, plus another. First, I maintain a database of conference "CfPs" (calls for papers/presentation/participation/whatever) for a consulting network I'm in, that has a Speakers Network within it. Switching from Google Sheets to Airtable made that much easier to deal with, especially as the main table has to reference tables holding things like cities (which refer in turn to countries), speakers, and so on. Second, I'm also using Airtable to extract a subset of that, filter out the ones I don't want to apply to, keep track of my opinions of the conferences, etc. Third, I'm also using it for my frequently used personal bookmarks, with views that extract those labeled as Daily, Weekly, specific days of the week, and so on, and sort them by priority, plus I have various other tags.
Like Excel on Steroids
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, Airtable created a novel and simple solution to spreadsheets. It may not have the breadth of functions as Excel or Google Spreadsheets, but its power is how you can relate data. Think of it like a simple database but in a format that everyone understands; spreadsheets. I have been able to use it in product management to track and surface insights from customer interviews in a matter of minutes. All from creating related views across different sets of data. I quickly surfaced the key features my customers wanted.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, if anything at all. Well except for the price. It's a little expensive for the paid license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've used it to track and store our data integrations along with their corresponding data schemas, product insights, customer research, credential storage across teams, and much more.
Level up your lit reviews and data science
What do you like best about the product?
I mostly use Airtable for data science and literature review projects. It makes it easy to do some frustrating or impossible things in excel, e.g., attach files to records, track history when collaborating, and implement ontologies.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found the built-in data visualizations or plugins especially useful. They are also frequently adding or tinkering with features, which means that sometimes there are workflows or functions that I have to revise when they introduce (what to me is) an unnecessary change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable has leveled up my working and thinking regarding data science and literature review projects. It makes it easy for me to manage more data; as a result, there are projects and challenges that I would never have attempted before. But now, because I am comfortable with Airtable, I can take on more projects and complete them faster than I could before.
User-friendly, great for non-profit use
What do you like best about the product?
I love that, for free, we can track things like receipts and inventory with images and in the cloud!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I understood the apps a little better and I wish I could experiment with them without having a premium account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking receipts, listing kit inventories for libraries. I wish that I could integrate my inventory with a reservation calendar, but I can't figure it out.

What do you dislike about the product?
Easy integration into an excel or sheets format for larger coding purposes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Amazing experience
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Airtable to me in my company is freedom. Different of other systems, Airtable give us the opportunity to adapt easily or necessities to they attributes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, in heavy bases with a lot of data, the Airtable could be slow and unstable, but we have to be honest: it's completely normal and others systems have the same problem, but, will be good for everybody if the team could work on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable give us the opportunity to have a lot of data, of all sectors of our company, in the same place and the freedom to manage this data according our necessities in a easily way, increasing our productivity a lot.

Best app for personal and business management
What do you like best about the product?
Managing personal and business thru different types of views.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to use the tables embedded on places like Miro or Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization and accountability of tasks and expenses.
Great for prototyping!
What do you like best about the product?
For context - I use Airtable with clients. Usually, small non-profits who rely on spreadsheets to manage their mission. It's the flexibility to put in ANY spreadsheet quickly and then start improving things in front of their eyes. Automations, reminders, confirmation emails etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Email communications. The automations are good but the format options are restrictive and the 100-a-day volume limit is difficult. It usually means another app is needed for that - hence another subscription and more cost
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me move clients from spreadsheets to automated processes quickly and without a step an angst ridden learning curve about client journeys or data structures.
