Very pliable and easy to make do exactly what you want it to do!
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is the most flexible and fun database/spreadsheet program I have ever used. I have used a little Excel Spreadsheet but never really cared for it. Then I discovered Airtable. It has been a gamechanger for our little dog rescue organization. Without it, we would be lost. We use it for every facet of the process from tracking the pups through the system from rescue to adoption, to keeping our foster and adopter datebases up to date. We also track the incoming flights that will transport dogs to us and do income and expenses within it. WE LOVE Airtable. I feel like we have created such a robust database/spreadsheet for a rescue organization, that we could almost sell it to other rescues, all thanks to Airtable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could create sortable groups of emails for fundraising purposes among our adopters. I would like to be able to batch groups of them and then send them to gmail for a specific fundraising opportunity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing a small dog rescue and keeping all the facets in order. WE are a tiny, volunteer-driven rescue that is mostly a couple of part-time volunteers and me. We all have access to it and can see where is pup is in the process just by using airtable. Additionally, volunteers can get in to find email addresses, snail mail addresses to send thank you notes to donors!
Powerful, agile, no-code/low-code software with endless use cases
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is a customizable software that fulfills many different use cases and needs for our organization including project and workflow management, data insights, surveying and more. As an operations professional without a technical background, Airtable's no-code features allow me to create powerful systems to support our work that can be tailored to our specific data, processes, and existing systems to work more effectively; and the API allows our dev team to connect data across multiple platforms for deeper insights. Features like automations have streamlined our work and increased capacity, and their new interfaces feature has allowed us to work cross-functionally in new and exciting ways. In the pace of work at a mid-stage startup, Airtable allows us to evolve how we work in an easy and impactful way.
What do you dislike about the product?
With so many features and flexibility, there can be a bit of a learning curve to onboard new team members into the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable allows us to connect data that is siloed across multiple sources and tools to deepen our insights. It also allows us to work cross-functionally and effectively by giving a platform to share data and information across teams.
An Air Table Evangelist
What do you like best about the product?
When I first started using Air Table, I was looking for an easy way to add images to the data I was collecting. I had been previously been using a spreadsheet program that didn't handle images well. I gave Air Table a shot and it's changed the way I work in so many ways! I can not only add images but also link data in different tables allowing me to see connections in a completely different way. I love that they have a free plan, but honestly once you start using it you'll find more and more uses.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the frustrations I have is when I share a table with someone it's way too easy to accidentally set them us as a creator and get charged for an extra using on the account. They should add a pop up that asks if you want to add a new user and that it will incur additional charges.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Air Table for many different purposes. It's great at handling images and document attachments. I also like that the app lets me use it on the go. I've actually used it at events, adding records, taking pics, and including notes. It works great!
A Game Changer
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable allows users to customize their view and use of shared, live data to an incredible degree. We have removed several steps in our workflows because of the automated, intuitive way we can sort and see our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable is not printer-friendly, and is not available for use offline. The page designer extension is also lackluster and we have had to lower our standard and alter our data entry in some cases to accomodate this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable, with it's ability to link records and data points, allows us to cut out much of the human error and typo frequency when it comes to establishing and updating data in multiple places, which we do a lot of.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have a single source of truth for data while customizing the view of the data to each user has been a game changer for my internal team and clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable's pricing structure seems way too focused on enterprise clients only. I do not believe the amount of storage space needed should correlate directly with the number of people on your team. You should be able to upgrade the amount of storage regardless of team size. Why can't a small business have a lot of products? Small teams can still do big things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is providing us a way to organize a lot of different types of data and information so that we can focus more time on the creative aspect to our projects.
Always the right tool for the job!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to all share the same data, but be able to pull aside and create my own views to see what matters to me. Also, all the integrations make it easier to cut out repetitive steps that you might need to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are little features that could make things MUCH better, once you really get into it. I trust Airtable knows and is working on those. But in the meantime it can add a little more work. I want the ability to make the page designer pages into PDFs and then upload them to the same record that they were generated from.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the problem of where do I put all the docs and info I need to run a small CPG startup. I don't miss a beat. What do you need? It's in Airtable!! We have an audit for our organic certification? All the audit paperwork and totals are in AIRTABLE! It's seriously stellar.
Excellent collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable allows my very large team to collaborate on projects. It is great for sorting data. We use it for just about everything
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you can't customize your homepage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us all to work on one database at the same time. It shows history. We get work done faster.
Fun for all
What do you like best about the product?
User interface is fun to use. I love how intuitive everything is.
What do you dislike about the product?
Working with teams can cause destruction of your tables if you're not careful. Also being able to add team members to only fill out forms would be nice without having to get a full membership.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management. I like creating a view that allows me to manipulate data. I can drum up a specific list easily.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Air Table can be used for a lot of different projects - tracking, record keeping, etc. I also like that it integrates with Zapier.

Sometimes I have trouble understanding how to link tables
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping track our customers and send automated emails to them when they join our network.
Excellent for organizing data and ideas! I have used it for years and I love how flexible it is!

The flexibility and being able to adapt how you view your information depending on the task you need it for.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having so much flexibility can make it confusing at first but once you get familiar it opens up a lot of possibilites. More templates could be helpful.

I use it a lot to stay on top of clients and appointments. It helps with keeping track of details!
