Best Tool for Literally Anything

  • November 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how customizable Airtable is. There are an endless amount of integrations, and you can make any kind of view you want. Using the same data set for multiple views is fantastic and saves so much time. It's best for organizing content and keeping track of ongoing projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I dislike about Airtable. I have gotten feedback from others that there is a learning curve to use it to its full potential, but anything worthwhile will be hard before it gets better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work for a marketing company, and Airtable helps to keep everything organized and in one place. Information doesn't get easily lost, and everyone can customize how they want their workflow to look and feel. When processes are streamlined, my teammates and I are more efficient. We save time by working with such an excellent tool.

The simplest, most intuitive project view

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Airtable allows you to create tags. This makes classifications consistent and the color coding is an easy visual cue.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I do wish it were easier to see long text in a box (rather than expanding the cell each time)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable makes presenting information organized and engaging.

It is like magic. But it takes some time to understand it

  • November 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It may sound contradictory (given the title I used for the review) but I think it is "easy". It takes time, but you can do wonderful stuff, and if you start playing with other tools (Softr for example) you can create something powerfull.

I used it for a proposal/tool selection in a project and the client was impressed. For me, it was like collecting data in a spreadsheet, but I had a much greater control on the end result.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes time. That's life, but I guess you need to dedicate some hours to study Airtable.
It is not something that feels really useful until you start using it for a specific project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collecting and presenting data.
Creating databases for "normal use".
Directories and similar stuff for websites.

Basically, I can used this as my "own database for non devs"

The Database platform of my dreams!

  • November 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
After using a number of platforms, Airtable is the one that I keep coming back to - it is intuitive, flexible, and adaptable to almost any use-case that I have put it through.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real downsides to far - with the recent introduction of Interfaces, one of my biggest hurdles was overcome, and I am excited to dig into this new function more!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work heavily in community engagement and qualitative data-gathering - Airtable keeps our data accessible, easy to view, sort, and group, and automations + Interfaces help us to move through our first phase of analysis easily! We are exploring using it for project management, team workload tracking, and budget oversight as well, with great results so far.

Airtable is perfect for my team

  • November 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can work with my team on the other side of the world and give her instructions on changes I want made. It's easy to use and helps me to clearly see all of our social media posts and pictures she has created. I love how need and clean it all feels and with a simple change of status I can get changes from my team. Then I can approve with it looks good.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot that I don't know about Airtable. There seems so much that I could do but have limited time. My team could probably answer this better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need a platform where I can work out designs with my team from another country and use it to easily communicate. Then when it's time, they get uploaded to social media. I love it.

Great collaboration and tracking tool

  • November 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the trackers on Airtable the most. There are various options for collaborative as well as personal tracking. All the visuals and charting that can be created on AirTable are a great plus. Task automation has significantly helped as well. We were even able to create a company intranet on AirTable!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I dislike. Sometimes the extensions can take a while to load in trackers but that happens with any technology. I'm very happy with how AirTable has helped me in my daily work:
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real-time tracking of projects and everyday tasks. Creation of forms, surveys as well as task automation. Reduction of manual charting and visualizations. Overall business performance has boosted

Airtable Review

  • November 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is an awesome tool for managing clients, projects, and my team. I'm able to collect relevant information from clients to complete projects and then assign those to my team members. Within Airtable, I can track the progress of each event. Clients then also have visibility into the status of their projects at any given time, and I can easily see what has been completed. It's like a super organized to-do list!

I also really like that there is a basic level of Airtable that is free to use. Some Airtable Bases make more sense to be paid while others only need basic functionality from the free version.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am a big fan of the platform and use it daily, so I don't have much to say that I dislike.

I do think that there is an opportunity in the forms section to make forms more customizable in their appearance. I'd be more likely to embed an Airtable form on a website if this was the case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable allows me to manage multiple stakeholders at once. As an agency, I have many clients, and many projects within each client. Airtable allows me to manage clients by giving me a way to intake information from them. Within my team, I can then assign projects. Kanban view allows me to keep a to-do list for myself and my team members. This makes managing multiple clients so much simpler.

Airtable is great for small businesses looking to scale

  • November 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy to use and set up Airtable is. It is a pretty robust tool that you can take in many different directions depending on your business needs. It's a great flexible app to have in your business tool box.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how easily complicated Airtable can get; sometimes, it's hard to figure out what you're doing wrong when you get to the more advanced features because there are so many different ways to do one thing. Also, I wish that Airtable made it easier to scale bases a la carte based on each business's needs. The fact that Airtable limits you to 50k rows per base and the only way to upgrade is by moving to Enterprise sucks. We're actually moving to a different system that will give us more room to grow without forcing us to pay 10k per year. The lack of flexibility around pricing, features, support, space, etc., is a massive con with Airtable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable helped us build a financial reporting database to track and report on subscription metrics. It was straightforward to use and set up for not that much money! We were a tiny grassroots startup when we first started using Airtable. It made it easy for us to grow and report on that growth.

It’s excel on steroids.

What do you like best about the product?
UI and UX are so smooth and color coding, grouping, etc. makes it so easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I think there's so much more power to Airtable but I actually don't know what I m missing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization, document storage, record linking, spreadsheeting, analysis, pipeline, and more.

Airtable has changed my life - for the better

  • November 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It takes the power of a database and wraps in the ease of use of a spreadsheet. Scalability is a key, it's been incredibly useful for projects both large and small.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve can be a bit steep for folks who aren't used to relational databases. Not sure how to help this, but users who have bad "data habits" and used to working in google sheets and excel can still manage to gum up the works for everyone. This can cause a problem for us since we have a lot of freelancers, so there's a bit of onboarding involved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable helps us organized complicated data sets (mostly video and audio assets related to film production) in a way that remote workers can all access simultaneously. Saves a lot of effort and time.
