Airtable is Crucial for My Companies
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility. I absolutely love how I can customize each base to the point where I use it for tracking my team of employees repairing wheels at dealerships; I use it for musical instrument manufacturing to track inventory and parts lists of thousands of parts which can then be turned into an automatic purchase order and quoting forms or project management and tracking—all the way to using it to track personal finances or projects around the house. I can make each base as complex or as simple as I need, and it keeps up. And the best part for me is it's all free. I'm even able to use it to automatically notify people when tasks need to be completed or share data with people, and so much more. The versatility of Airtable has become a crucial tool for all of my businesses.
I've used this for video shoots, home renovations, lead generation and tracking, prospecting, marketing campaign management, wedding planning, and so much more. It truly is a tool that can be used for just about any situation or anyone.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback for me is when you want to start using the paid features, it gets very expensive very quickly. For one of my bases, I was looking at over $100 per month just for premium features on ONE base. Thankfully I haven't needed to upgrade, but I wish it weren't that expensive because there are even more features and apps I would love to take advantage of. I just can't justify spending $100/month per base when I use so many bases. Other than that, I absolutely love it, and there is so much you can do on the free plans, so this hasn't been an issue yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are honestly too many problems I have solved to list here. As I mentioned above, I use Airtable for just about everything, and I keep discovering new ways to use Airtable and solve more problems. The main thing this solves for me is being able to track large amounts of data such as thousands of parts for manufacturing or tracking progress of instrument builds and what needs to be done, working efficiently with a team that isn't even in the same office, and so much more.
Practical and Organized
What do you like best about the product?
This software is very user friendly and easy to use. I enjoy how easy it is to group candidates together and keep a running list of people and comments needed to reach out to regularly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not see any downsides of AirTable other than that when it is being updated by the admin side it gets a little temperamental on the user side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reaching out and marking down candidates for positions needing to be filled at the company. I find myself way more productive than the other software we were using prior.

Airtable helps keep work organized, especially when working with a group. It also ensures everyone filled out every part of the table.
Airtable - nocode database marvel
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the simplicity and very low learning curve of the platform. You can literally share anything amongst your peers like ideas, stocks, information , plan an event and much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't support connectors type features in MS power platform. To connect with third party apps like Jira, Salesforce, Dynamics , you get issues while connecting through APIs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration amongst teams to handle daily coding tasks. Bug management, project management and resource allocation in different accounts within different verticals. No need to depend on excel sheets where it is difficult to track who changes what since it travels through different accounts.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Airtabel is very easy to use. It's super user-friendly and you can implement it very fast. It also connects with several programs at the same time and it shows real time numbers.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this time, there is nothing I dislike about Airtable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Airtable for booking orders. It captures the data very fast and it's very easy to work with it. The benefit I found is that you can edit a lot of things and play around with the tables.

Airtable is life savior, go for it.
Love Airtable for Project Management - great ROI
What do you like best about the product?
Super connected database. We use it to track progress of many projects, it's much cheaper than any tailor-built solution and much more powerful than excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be slow with very large databases but not critical.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management for hundreds of jobs. Automation really helps us keep track of everything, and notify if any issues arise. Airtable saves us 10,000s per annum on custom software for project management.
Newer user but finding it very useful for project management
What do you like best about the product?
I am a newer user who found Airtable via reddit and I am finding it very useful for project management at work. I have 20-30 projects going on at any time (some of which intersect with each other) and I have found Airtable very flexible to manage these projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, I think I am basically scratching the surface when it comes to using Airtable to it's fullest capabilities and so I am not really sure how to get trained up so I can use it fully. Self service has been okay but I need more training and hands on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The number one issue I am trying to solve is project managing my to do list. I have lots of projects that I am working on as a manager, and I need to make sure I keep them organized and completed.

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is a great project management tool. I appreciated the features that allowed multiple tasks to be recorded and followed. It is better than its competitors because it has a lot more to offer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more storage on the plans. For small and medium sized businesses the free plan is okay but to get more storage you would need to pay more. I would like to see more storage on lowe plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is kind of like a cleaner and more visual excel. And everything is saved in the same place. I felt more productive because I was able to create and go through spreadsheets more efficiently.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely recommend using this tool over excel and for project management.
Great Tool for Digital Asset Management
What do you like best about the product?
One of my favorite parts of using AirTable as an asset management tool is that you can set up collections, based on tags or categories, to share with colleagues. Your colleagues can then access those collections or data sets instead of the whole database and download just what they need. It makes it easier for you so you aren't having to hand pick every asset and instead, it's based on a broader category.
What do you dislike about the product?
To use the functionalities that I like the best (categories, tagging, collections of data or assets), you do have to take time to upload them properly and add the keywords you want. This is a fairly manual process, but it is one of those things that once done, it works perfectly. Just make sure you have staff who can upload and manage and are all on the same page about how you want to use your database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had an asset management problem with photos and videos saved in too many different folders and usually duplicates or photos that were very similar. By using AirTable, we've been able to streamline the assets available, making sure the ones uploaded fit a variety of needs, and we can then share with colleagues. Before it was an exhaustive process every time to choose photos to share and oftentimes, we'd end up reusing the same ones. This gives us a visual showcase of photos and the benefit is that others can choose which they'd like to use within controlled boundaries.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Airtable has a lot of standard uses like task management or project road mapping, but they also have a lot of uses that could be outside of the box type solutions. They have a ton of great templates you can explore to see how you can make it work for you. Overall, the database is flexible and great if you aren't 100% sure what you need, other than some organization help.

What do you like best about the product?
To be able to keep track of all my "TO-DO's" and assignments.
What do you dislike about the product?
The first list set up was a little confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had a mixture of handwritten notes and digital to-do lists that I was able to combine.
