Using Airtable to manage large projects.
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is incredibly simple to use. It makes it simple to set up tables and establish connections between them. In addition, the wide range of options provides you with a wide range of options for completing your duties. I was able to utilize Airtable to handle a difficult program and have demonstrated it to other coworkers who are adopting Airtable to address additional problems. It's great that it keeps everything structured for quick and easy tracking; it's especially useful to keep shared records that help you manage all your data without having to construct difficult spreadsheets or tables.
What do you dislike about the product?
It annoys me that records cannot be linked between databases. As long as they are linked to other records, we can store a lot of data in one location and utilize that data to populate other databases as needed. Users who are used to dealing with spreadsheet-only software will find the capabilities lacking, therefore they will have to learn how to handle information in a new way using this application. These stringent permission levels for clients, which limit them to only viewing and not modifying or sharing resources, make the control you have over a resource or project extremely rigid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can consolidate our program and make it available to people who require it. It's made it easier for me to keep track of my daily routine. As a result of the features it provides, I've been able to perform with better productivity day after day, completing all of the tasks for the projects I work on at my firm.
The platform you have been waiting for beyond spreadsheets
What do you like best about the product?
In Airtable, you will find so many features that you wish other platforms would have. We love the flexibility of what you can do with your data and how you can you build workflows around them. The automation rules are incredible, which have helped us to quickly build complex workflows. I have to tell you; the UI is fantastic, easy to read, with many ways to customize your views.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps the only thing that I can complain about is the lack of some direct integration with other services, for example, some Google services like Google Contacts or even Google Keep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our main challenge before we onboarded Aitable as part of our software stack was the lack of a home for our internal technical documentation. Right away, we realized Airtable went beyond simple spreadsheets (a tool that we all use for tracking and storing data). Well, Airtable gave us so much more than just storing data with formulas but creating, among many things, automations, being able to customize views depending on your needs to display the data you want.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Let's be honest, so many technologies are long over due for a change. Spreadsheets are one of those, and Airtable was built from the ground up, putting up front easy data display, automations, and how intuitive it is. Please, don't be intimidated to learn a tool that most likely would replace a couple of other pieces of software because of how robust Airtable is. Give it a try with replacing small spreadsheets or Google Sheets to start with, and you will be surprised how cool your data might display.
Manage different workspaces, create state-of-the-art tables. Airtable has more than you know.
What do you like best about the product?
Its integration with Slack is great. We love using multiple Workspace management and new generation tables.
What do you dislike about the product?
UX can force the user. It took some time to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can manage different workspaces. We can create forms for our surveys and store them in tables. Moreover, we make use of its great templates for task tracking.
Makes Assigning Projects Super Easy
What do you like best about the product?
As a member of an editorial team with 4 other writers, I love Airtable because it allows us to assign projects based on the writer, topic, and more. It color-codes everything so you know exactly which project is yours and which one is not.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing about Airtable that I've found that I dislike thus far
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an Editorial Assistant, I am able to see what assignments are mine, upload my drafts, mark them as ready to be edited and featured, and more. It streamlines the entire editorial process for my company and I don't know what we'd be without it
Great experience managing tasks and goals with Airtable
What do you like best about the product?
Easily able to organize upcoming tasks. Easy to organize different tasks and objectives and how they align to different departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! Airtable is easy to use and accessible anywhere. Makes organizing projects seamless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing tasks and ownership of different objectives. It's easy to organize how they tie to different departments or teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're familiar with excel spreadsheets, this will be easy to adopt. It's like connecting your spreadsheets so you can access data easier. Sort of like Pivot Tables but easier to learn.
Project management tools
What do you like best about the product?
It's simply organised and organized simply. It's verry easy to learn but if you can code it, it can be verry flexbiel
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of automation that can be done, but I don't really understand how to make it works

Project management. I can track my project easily, and the team can know how long each process takes. Since they can track how long a card have been sitting in a category

It's really good once you get the hang of it. Just like Jira, it needs a lot of time upfront
Best Project Management Tool I have ever used
What do you like best about the product?
I like Airtable's versatility best- it is like Excel meets Agile softwares (like Trello), and very colourful and fun to use. Views show your data in "excel" list style, calendar, gantt or kanban (sticky note) style. Me and my team of volunteers and interns use it for everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
I must say I haven't found a single things I dislike about airtable as yet. We haven't tried their API (connecting it to a CRM, or other softwares) as yet- so I cannot comment on that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We organize our workflow (everything from team schedules, to content calendar to event management) in airtable. It has made our lives easier. Exports of data are fast, and simple.
Airtable- Excel with some gusto
What do you like best about the product?
The options for integration are super nice- it's customizable. We've used it institution-wide as our advisor management system, course management system, textbooks system etc. It's easy to navigate and the customization is super nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the more advanced and fancy type of customizations, you also need to have a subscription to Mini Extensions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable has come in and helped fill in the gaps we had with advising, curriculum management and building and our textbook process. We needed something quick to fill in and this has done the trick.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Focus on what types of tasks you are looking for. When building out Airtable, make sure you know all the features and things you would like integrated first, it's easier to build from a strong foundation than to add and change things once it's built.
Airtable as a Go-To for Marketing Operations!
What do you like best about the product?
Having been a fond user of Google Sheets, Airtable is like Google Sheets on steroids! Our team has built tables for campaign names, UTM generation in addition to a project request queue.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still early stages with Airtable, have not come across elements I don't like. Still learning the share features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Several inefficiencies have been resolved, namely campaign naming and UTM consistencies.
Airtable is a great platform for my team to house information and collaborate.
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is a great database system because you and your team can collaborate to create different apps within the CRM. It is very versatile and customizable to your preference; dependant on our teams, we track inventory, manage schedules, plan events, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations to formatting. You cannot sync between two different bases een in the same workplace very easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use AirTable for Project Management, which has allowed us to streamline many of our processes where certain things were being kept in mulitple different places by different people. It was hard to find everything we needed at a moment's notice, whereas now everything is comprehensive and in one place.
