Project Management great for marketing use
What do you like best about the product?
I like the color coordination, the options on formating for each table you work with, How you can have different tiles to manage each project separately. The tabs on each project are nice because you can differentiate budget on one and photos on another as in event management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly appreciate how there are paid features and others that are free. You need the paid version to add colors to some options. You also cannot highlight within your table, which I wish was possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefit is organization. You can gather your thoughts all in one place and keep them all in order. Nothing gets lost when using airtable.
Beautiful for client facing
What do you like best about the product?
I like how clean, organized and pretty it looks for presenting to clients, while still be able to be used for internal project management tracking. Airtable is also able to be automated to an extent which can be very helpful with labeling and assigning tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you can only have 25 automations per base which isn't enough if you have multiple tables within the base and each table needs its own automations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were solving the problem of project task management and ensuring that tasks don't get lost or forgotten. We are much more productive and have been able to grow the company and the projects we are working on.

Make sure you know the limitations that Airtable has before you spend time completely setting it up.
An easy tool for efficient organization
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, colorful tabs. It helped us to keep our lab inventory organized for everyone involved, from students there once a week to managers there every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have too many. Sometimes the inventory wouldnt save the lab materials in the format that I wanted, but I usually could fix this relatively quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had many people coming in and out of our lab and this made it quite challenging to maintain an organized and updated inventory for chemicals and supplies. This helped with that problem.
No need for google sheets anymore

Automations, easy links between different tables, easily sharable

The 50,000 records limit even in the paid version

Airtable is great to organize and share files between teams
What do you like best about the product?
Our team can add and edit various marketing materials and share these files with other internal teams through Airtable. We were able to sync Airtable views up to SharePoint sites and most of this sharing becomes a one-touch solution, especially when documents need to be updated or removed.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you are in a view and trying to filter to find different documents and another team member pops in to find a separate document. There are times that you will fight over the filter status because there is no indication that someone is active in the view and looking for something. In cases like this, you have to ping the team or wait to find your document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is providing us with a complete repository for all marketing work done by our team, and we can filter out what is shared with the rest of the company by different tags and statuses.
The best no-code relational database solution
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has unparalleled flexibility when it comes to content. The variety of field types, formula functions, and attachment storage capacity means you can get anything into a base precisely the way you want. More recently added features like scripting and automations make the product even more powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nit-picking here, but I'd love to see more powerful formula functions for working with Arrays.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've deployed Airtable as both a back-end databse and front-end interface for our CRM needs, enabling our sales team to manage lead flow through our sales funnel quickly and efficiently.

If you understand the basics of relational database design and implementation, Airtable has the potential to supercharge your and your team's productivity
Great collaboration software
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to see the projects and the collaborators that have also been involved. Can show a detailed view of the project and works as a hub of information for those involved .
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little challenging and overwhelming at first to find the information you are looking for but once you start working in the system it is easier to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working with an out of town vendor to collaborate a installation of art pieces. Being able to access the information all in one place is very helpful and efficient.
Automation in a few clicks
What do you like best about the product?
The automation features in airtable are really easy to use and it requires no coding experience to use them.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing missing from airtable is matching similar fielda and populating according to them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using airtable for automating my entire workflow of business by using integrations like zapier and gmail for advanced options.

Just go for it.

What do you like best about the product?
We liked the ease of creating records and tracking the records across multiple projects. The ability to clearly track assets and create labels for various platforms was a plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we felt that we couldn't have records in multiple projects or I guess a better way to say it is that you really have to stick with the parameters built into the project to get the most out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowed us to better track data for youtube/Facebook/Instagram video publishing across various web shows and clearly see the social media promotions attached to each "record."

User friendly, possibility to have filters, efficiency

Too much information in the beginning, bugs, a not very fluid interface
