Great collaborative spreadsheet application, lots of customization, unlimited use cases
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable stores a lot of information in spreadsheet format, making it incredibly easy to use and multi-functional. It also loads incredibly fast for the amount of data it contains. We have some sheets with over 10 tabs that each contain thousands of rows of data.
Great that it's also very collaborative and shareable across the team. Customized views make a HUGE difference for team usage. The fact that it's web-based makes sharing very easy.
Also a fan of the color scheme that Airtable has. It's bright and eye-catching without being distracting or blinding.

What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside for our team is that Airtable is not always consistent when it coordinates with other tools, which has given us some headache. Data will occasionally go missing because of wonky-ish integration.
There is also a bit of a learning curve since it's different from a standard spreadsheet product like Excel.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it as a project management tool, CRM, and ATS. It's pretty impressive how multi-functional it is.
A Type A Person's Dream
What do you like best about the product?
How easily customizable and dynamic the tool is
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really comes to mind. It's a great resource
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used Airtable to better organize anything I was putting into an Excel file or Google Sheet. Specifically, I used it for a content library for marketing and tradeshow schedule and tasks organizer.
Fast and Lightweight
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to quickly filter entries and customize for your needs. It also has a nice user interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a while to get used to it, just like anything that's new.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used Airtable as a spreadsheet and as a content calendar. It has different templates for different uses.
Airtable
What do you like best about the product?
Allows you to link attachments to data entries and allows syncing between tables/bases. Also their forms & automations are super useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The admin portal is limited. Certain features that you would expect aren't there (like ability to change the background color of all cells in a row). It's not actually a project management tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to save attachments and use automations. It saves time.

Simple, Fast, Complete. Airtable Works.
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable provides the simple capability to create and share large project Gantt Charts -- without resorting to a full project management application (or license). Sometimes, you've just got to work fast to get a project going, and the team focused. Time is a critical factor. Airtable allows the user to schedule and combine tasks and deliverables in segmented stages quickly. And efficiently. Also, there's not a big learning curve. And they provide a few training videos that provide tips and techniques. I like this app.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had to pay $$ for additional features (from the free version). The YouTube videos move quickly - so you have to pay attention or rewind and try the techniques. I would prefer an online tutorial. It's sometimes difficult to get people to move to a new online app that has so many capabilities when these people are used to using, say, Excel, to detail a project's deliverables and timeline. But these are little things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving complex project assignments - with a small distributed team - and achieving launch and marketing results.
stop using Excel, this is better!
What do you like best about the product?
visually appealing, easy to learn and able to be used for many different kinds of data
What do you dislike about the product?
no Save button when creating a new entry
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
easy database that can be accessed on website and mobile
Great software to organize any project
What do you like best about the product?
Among relational databases that do not require SQL, Airtable is the gold standard by which all others are measured. With Airtable, I can do the same tasks that I would with SQL databases, but in a way that anybody can understand. Quickly move between multiple views using Airtable customizable views. Each morning, I enjoy having the calendar view as my main dashboard, but I can easily move to a spreadsheet if necessary. I hope this helps. Unique fields can be easily added or edited. My favorite feature of Google Sheets is how easily spreadsheets can be imported. As a result, it has become my preferred spreadsheet application.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would want syntax highlighting and bracket matching in the formulae. It's a pretty common characteristic. Why they're not here baffles me. It is my belief that we will eventually be able to obtain them. On the other hand, I wish the free plan had more color coding possibilities. Due to a lack of some display options, the mobile app might also be a bit cumbersome to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Forms (data collecting), automation (using Airtable as a database for Zapier), and organization are some of the skills you'll need to succeed in this position. On top of all that, we can personalize it for each job. A dashboard ability to filter and sort individual displays is more straightforward than Excel or Google Sheets. We use the attachments function to generate gallery views for different projects since some of us are more visual than others. To take use of the automated capabilities and connectivity with Google products, we plan on upgrading to the premium version later this year.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Airtable is a great tool for everyone to have in their toolbox. No need to worry about a free trial because the free plan itself is very generous with the tools and preferences it provides. Starting with a blank sheet is simpler for me than using the templates they give when I'm just getting started. You'll be able to construct bulleted or numbered lists using the same record and structure the text meaningfully if you enable rich HTML formatting for lengthy paragraph fields.
Visually appealing and super easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
Editing the blocks and notes is a breeze. Love how colorful it is which makes it easier for organizing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there is nothing I dislike about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collecting data into this one platform helps manage my time.
Spreadsheets for people who hate spreadsheets
What do you like best about the product?
Airable makes storing information easy and accessible, especially across teams and disciplines. I've used Airtable for storing survey participant data and managing editorial production—it's flexible, smart, and streamlined.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a learning curve when shifting from other tools, like spreadsheets. When my team transitioned, we had a point person internally who managed both the data migration and the internal training. I'd recommend this approach!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a single "source of truth"—while Airtable is flexible enough to allow folks to view the same data in different ways, it also allows for the centralization of data and processes
