What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is a crisp and concise way to share task and project details with your friends. Airtable provides the lucrative feature of using different tabs for easier navigation and division of information for sharing between team members. My teammates and i use this app to share and provide feedback to each other for details related to every department of our project. Airtable has consise information sharing through tables that is easy to use like excel on computer systems. In my experience, Airtable has provided great ease to many business functions and my team members will keep using this for the amazing collaborative functions like data sharing, responsibility allotment and ticking tasks off our lists.
What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable needs a premium version feature wherein data can be imported directly from Google sheets. Moreover there are more collaborative features needed for better team functionality since multiple members of a team work on Airtable together. For better sharing on data among team members it is important that Airtable launches features that address the needs of organizational goals. The application can also focus on prompting features for easy use to new members using the versatile software. All in all i think Airtable has huge scope for improvement in the coming time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The various problems I am solving using Airtable are collaboration of work streams, sharing of data as well allotment of responsibility to team members on a running basis. I also use Airtable to finish and mark departmental tasks.

great planning application

What do you like best about the product?
For such an effective object, working with it is extremely simple. In the past days we had problems with minimal implementation of new processes and systems, because the device was far too complex for our customers.Even less qualified users are excited about the Airtable. It allows us to really organize and process difficult information in a visual and simple way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Permissions can be much better. File. The bees are gradual. The basic lack of online resources, because every raw material they produce should be very perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Air table allows our team to plan teamwork. With the possibility to sort and classify information by customers, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Air table is a very simple solution to use in case of a problem, the answer can be found in the tutorials

Great way to communicate and manage projects

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Airtable is intuitive, easy to edit, easy to export to CSV. It is a great platform for my own departmental projects and for inter-department communication. I like color coding, sorting fields, ease of creating new lines and items, flexibility of different fields (like you can have text, date, complete, priority, assign tasks, or whatever you think is relevant). I also like that you can easily nestle tasks within subprojects within projects within goals. I have also used it to create databases of information for clients and it is easy for them to view and understand vs something like excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a paywall for color coding and it isn't always easy to link projects and tasks together. Additionally, you cannot use equations in the cells to do any maths. I do not like that it sometimes crashes and you cannot see edits of others in real time. It also doesn't have a downloadable computer program, which would be very helpful if I am doing tasks offline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inter-departmental communication and strategy. Tracking and managing goals and tasks. A great benefit is that everything can be exported to CSV and there are multiple views for each table created. I have used it with both my direct reports and with my managers to clearly communicate what has been done and where each task stands. It is excellent especially as so many people are working remotely and google drive doesn't always work especially well for communicating tasks. Email is a graveyard where tasks go to die.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
IF you are looking for easy plug and play, this is good online support. It is very similar to excel,

Endless options

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has everything you could possibly need to manage your projects, currently as a team we are finishing and starting different projects and the capability of having all the tasks in one kanban is great to continue the work we are doing. The ability to put a color for each project is a must and works very well. Also each tasks has so many options to add either resources, or timing and other specifications, is very useful and the history of the status and the way you can comment in a tasks can help to resolve them in an easier way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of their number of options the interface is quite crowded, it should come with options to hide some of the not so frequent options. Also a wizard for understanding were all the options are located and what they do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are keeping the tasks we are performing for each project, and the assign of the different tasks to each member of the team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool for keeping multiple or a single project going one place. It has a lot of customizations so if one of your teammates don't like kanban view of tasks it can be change for him specifically. It also has a calendar to visualize the work that needs to be done before the end of the sprint.

Amazing for project management

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is really easy to use, visual, and has multiple views that allow you to look at your projects and tasks in different ways - grid, kanban, calendar etc. We use it for project management and tracking, purchase orders, a content calendar and more. It's great to have a tool that can be used in so many ways, and that allows for additional features through the apps feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
The trainings are great, but it took team members a bit to get used to it and start using it actively. For non-digital natives, there seems to be a barrier to understanding how to use it. We've found that our younger team members seem more likely to pick it up and run with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First, we are better able to allocate staff time to projects and focus areas. We're also better able to track our stock and what we need to order for the team. For our design team, we use the forms function to streamline requests. We have fielded over 200 requests through this form, which also allows us to analyze our workflow. These 3 functions allow our team to work more efficiently. Finally, Airtable allows us to have a high level snapshot of all of our work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Their sales team was great and able to work with us on an annual invoice.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use. It is the improvised version of Google sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
They do not have native integration with any tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We store all of our leads on Airtable and update their respective fields over there.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is very easy to use, and affordable by start-ups which are tight on budget.

This doesn't have all the functionalities which other CRMs provide, but you can consider using it when you are just starting with your business.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the interface, it's highly aesthetically appealing, and the different views and format to share information make it really convenient. All the platform is very intuitive to train new people how to use it, and it can be used for almost all business processes depending on the template you chose. I have been using Airtable for close to a year now with my current job, and over a year with my previous organizations. You can make of it whatever you need and I recommend scheduling an appointment with a Brand Representative to make sure you are fully using the capabilities of the software. After some demonstrations, we were able to add additional branding items, and with the upgrade, we were able to implement it as a registration system for our events.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't something I dislike. If I could change the number of people allowed to access the ProPlan I would, but other than that, their customer representatives are very quick if I ever needed to complain, but I haven;t had any reasons to. Perhaps, offering some kid of analytics or insights instead of only the raw data and columns for some forms would be interesting to see in the future
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many project management organization spreadsheets are laid out and easily customizable for all team members to see and explore. Attaching documents and external links to tasks makes it easier to have one centralized location. Some examples include using it as an Applicant Tracking system, social media posting track, checklist for planning, project dashboard with templates, external links.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend that you have a clear business defined by roles and departments before using Airtable, other than that, you may start creating random bases and there is an art to the organization. The product is there for you to support your information management, and definitely watch their training videos to grasp the concept!

Being able to easily keep track of data. Very beneficial in that color coding helps

Great platform to build collaborative applications

What do you like best about the product?
What I liked the best about Airtable is their features. Is a spreadsheed databased hybrid. We create an app easely and integrate it without mayor problems. We customize the workflow and enjoy these collaborate app. We used it like excel and structured information in a grid. Overall Price is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Is a cloud collaboration service. Has great features applied to a Spreadsheet.

Airtable for User Research

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable allows me, as a Product Manager, to quickly understand customer patterns at a glance. It takes me less than one day to ramp up my team and get them contributing as well. Finally, the UI is highly flexible allowing me to do way more than a spreadsheet - I can easily associate rows with one another, do counts, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know there are ways to make greater use of the product but it's unclear to me what I should do to maximize my usage. Right now, it's not easy to zoom in on the product - I am often presenting about the product in meetings and need to zoom in over the video call so that others can see what I'm showing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our user research documents were highly disorganized prior to Airtable. For example, we had separate Google Docs for each user interview we conducted. Instead, Airtable allows us to document all of our notes in one place AND intelligently group/filter notes to learn about common patterns i.e. 10 customers want 'mobile' functionality.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a day to fully explore it's features before dismissing it! There's a lot there.
