Great tool
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable allows non-technical people to create complex trackers without writing code by combining the familiarity of a spreadsheet with the power of a relational database. I adore how easily I can share a read-only link with stakeholders in a matter of seconds after switching between grid, calendar, Kanban, and gallery views. We can replace half a dozen SaaS products with a single platform thanks to rich field types like attachments, linked records, lookups, roll-ups, and formulae. Every week, hours of manual changes are saved thanks to automations and the reliable API that seamlessly connects to Slack, Zapier, and Make. Even for first-time users, the interface's color-coded filters, drag-and-drop field reordering, and personal views make adoption simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price increases a lot for larger teams if you reach 1,000 records or want sophisticated automations, thus the generous free tier quickly fills up. On bases with tens of thousands of rows, performance may slow. Although snapshot backups are available, there isn't a native point-in-time recovery for a specific table.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our dispersed spreadsheets, impromptu Trello boards, and isolated project trackers were all replaced by Airtable's single, integrated workplace. Status meetings and copy-pasting have been eliminated since real-time collaboration, automations, and relational linkages provide all stakeholders with a single source of truth.
Smooth coordination solution for creative planning
What do you like best about the product?
For me, the best aspect of Airtable is that it unites people around the projects, not only around the information. We keep track of our testing progress and internal thoughts on the project using it on the product team. The option to comment, assign jobs, and add media files has turned Slack into a team workspace. It brings together creative and practical work in a good way. We also use Slack and Drive so that our updates are always updated in the same place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable’s way of dealing with discussions can be challenging. It can be hard to read through the comments, especially when the project is busy. In some cases, feedback gets overlooked or is not brought up. The app also seems to have few features, and that can be annoying when we need it while traveling or working at events. It has caused delays on a few occasions and forced us to use email once more to stay on the same page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was common for us to feel confused about when content should be delivered, mainly when working with different teams. Airtable brought about a change in that area. It allows us to know who’s handling each job and where different parts of the project are now. Having all the information in one place cut down on the usual moving back and forth. It has helped organize our work so that the whole group can work swiftly and clearly.
Easy database for Excel users
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of setup for creating mock databased for product demonstrations in my line of work (Presales Consulting)
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much at this time. Its been very easy to setup and use so far. Maybe an assistant to help me find API resources would be helpful but thats minor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable allows for creating very fast databases for those who may be more comfortable with excel type UIs. Adding and retrieving is very fast and easy making dummy data for my demos very easy.
Airtable is my go-to tool to manage and automate all business workflows.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to build custom systems for operations, CRM, and automation without code.
What do you dislike about the product?
It gets expensive quickly when scaling to larger teams or needing advanced features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me centralize client operations, automate repetitive tasks, and scale service delivery without increasing overhead.
Incredibly Flexible Cloud-Based Platform For Info Sharing & Automation
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is easy-to-use, incredibly flexible for what you might need it to do, and has a sleek and professional feel. The addition of the Interfaces feature has really opened a lot of doors for low-code app development and internal tooling to improve our processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app is a bit of a mess – very inconsistent and crashes quite often on the Interfaces feature. The formulas can also be a bit limited, though you can often work around them with automations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable allows us to share internal data more easily, centralize our data and processes in one place, integrate external tools to improve our workflows, and develop new tools to improve our work.
Airtable is basically everything in one
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Airtable is databases don't seem cumbersome. I can start from a blank base and the library of templates is extremely useful. The templates have been a great way for me to build databases as I just had to modify them as I work. Also, integration with Zapier has been life-saving
What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable's pricing structure is out of this world. I can say it is certainly overpriced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a project manager, I have been able to organize and manage different teams using airtable. Also, I believe Airtable is one of the best no-code platforms out there, as I am able to create different workflows easily.
Easy to use and navigate
What do you like best about the product?
We are able to import through automations and organize with ease. It integrates will with other platforms and is easy to implement company wide.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found much yet, to be honest. It's what we are looking for
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to upload and parse through large amounts of data, setting up our online platform with ease. We are able to make modifications quickly and find issues with little roadblocks
Very useful and flexible tool
What do you like best about the product?
I can custom design exactly what I need for many purposes. weve used it to manage recruiting processes, sales flow, and those are connected now to tie sales reps that were entered in the recruiting process to the sales they make. our processes rely on Airtable that has been built as our needs expanded.
What do you dislike about the product?
i dont find the Ai to be useful at all. possibly user error though I dont think so i always end up just googling solutions to formulas and strategies
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
managing workflows to monitor multiple variables and stages in our business processes. we have various views setup that are monitored by different people on our team making for an efficient production line that our competitors have not successfully achieved
Great for managing data — love the automations!
What do you like best about the product?
I use Airtable daily mainly as a database or as a project tracker tool, and it’s been a game-change. The automations and integrations are super helpful and save my team lot of time. It connects easily with other tools I use, which makes my workflow smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only wish is that the formulas worked more like Excel — they can be a bit limited or tricky to use. But overall, it’s a great platform!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easy to track projects and collaborate with others. The automations save me time by handling repetitive tasks.
Overall Great Product, can definitely make some improvements
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is simple on the surface but crazy powerful. We have been able to build great things with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it is so powerful, simple uses grow and grow. Airtable can do it but things get messy. Airtable needs to provide more tools to organize the database. Being able to vertically separate sections of fields and even collapse those sections would be a good start. The interfaces are nice but permissions are too limited. Finally, their non-profit discounts is a nice idea and I suspect helps many, however the rules to qualifying exclude many. I asked the company about that policy twice and never received a reply. Also, other companies are much better at sharing their feature request list and soliciting feedback for the roadmap. Airtable does nothing like that to the best of my knowledge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are actually not using it for product management but student and school management. Airtable is super flexible, allows us to create whatever we want. The you can create any view with filters, grouping etc. We use automations extensively.
