What do you like best about the product?
I love the Kanban view for project management
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! It's all really great. Oh not being able to see full views of the task name in Kanban view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Client onboarding, social media management, etc.

Give it a shot! It can do so much more than you realize.

The Tool I Never Realized I Was Missing ... and Now Can't Live Without

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is incredibly versatile. I started using it at work to consolidate a large number of separate Google Sheets my team was using to track information we used on a daily basis. Once I got familiar with the platform and started to experiment with its more advanced features, I found that it was even more useful than I had originally expected. I was so delighted with it that I created a personal account, so I could use it for projects at home, as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
The two things I want to do with Airtable that I am unable to do are 1: use forms to create records and 2: access data across bases.

1. I use Airtable to keep track of all the events and assets my marketing team promotes, and we really want to use the Form view to allow members of other teams to submit requests for new events and assets they want us to add to the rotation. However, since there is no way for them to see a list of events that are already in the system and then add a new one if their event is not listed, we have to do a complicated multi-table flip-flop process where people start filling out a request form, and if the item they want is not in the dropdown menu, they have to click on a link to a separate form to add it, and then return to the form they're on. Then to get everything in its proper place, someone on my team has to go through and transfer data from one table to another. It's unnecessarily complicated.

2. We have multiple teams using Airtable, and it would be so helpful to be able to share data across teams. For example, our Organizational Development team has an Airtable in their Workspace that keeps track of team members, and the Marketing Department has an Airtable in our Workspace to keep track of events team members attend. It would be incredibly helpful to be able to link our table to theirs, so we have access to their headshots and bios and can also keep a running log of which events team members speak at without having to copy and paste information from one table to another and remember to check to make sure it's current. With the number of people using the platform, the cost to upgrade to an account that syncs data across table is prohibitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Airtable to keep track of all the events and assets our Marketing department promotes. We are able to use separate views to keep track of event details (webinars, conferences, Meetups, and training courses all have a different set of details and URLs we need to have handy when we create web pages and social media posts). We also use it to keep track of our email calendar and what events and assets are promoted in each email. And we have a record of all the content available for promotional use (case studies, solution fliers, videos, etc.). We also keep track of holiday card recipients. The primary benefit for us is being able to keep all of this information in one place, so we don't have to keep a huge pile of separate spreadsheets updated.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a way to consolidate large amounts of critical information in one place, so you can access, sort, and act on it quickly and easily, Airtable is without question the best tool I've seen for that. We literally could not be as efficient or effective as we are at our jobs without it. I recommend it to practically everyone I meet, and my team actually has a running joke that my answer to any question is likely to be "Airtable," whether it's relevant or not!

What do you like best about the product?
Everything! The ability to collaborate with colleagues, the ease of use, the app, the overall utility!

Nothing! I love it and have recommended it countless times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization! Using Airtable has saved me so much time. I conduct research and I'm able to collaborate with colleagues. I use Airtable for organizing my research, the materials I use for the classes I teach, and for pretty much everything I do related to work!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is an amazing product. It's intuitive, collaborative, and extremely helpful. There are numerous features to streamline tasks. As an academic, I love that I can upload articles, work on projects collaboratively, and keep everything I need to be productive in one spot!

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can build my Airtable however I like and feel comfortable with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d like to be able to link to my Outlook for email and contacts. Not quite sure how that integrates, but it would b very useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before I started using Airtable, I was using numerous Excel spreadsheets and even a word doc to track all my projects. now, it’s all integrated into one place!

Give it a try, set up a few projects and see how you end up using it.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Airtable is extremely customizable. Rather than having prefilled, immovable fields, it allows you to create, change, move, and/or delete fields to create the software that will work for YOU!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some people that I have recommended Airtable to have decided not to use it because they have been intimidated by the robust software. The simple fact that it can do so much is a turnoff to some potential customers because they aren't sure how to get it set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have two separate direct sales businesses that I run from home. I have been able to create bases, or databases, for each of them with Airtable. It really streamlines my life and makes everything SO MUCH EASIER because I know that I am tracking inventory, orders, expenses, customers, etc.

A wonderful project management tool

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoyed how versatile airtable is - no matter the task I could find a way to organize and project-manage. I like how I can have multiple boards and timelines, with different employees assigned to do certain tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Oftentimes it takes me a while to figure out how best to use airtable. Sometimes, I will hit road blocks and would have to scrap the template or continue using when I know there may have been a more efficient way. I say the time it takes to learn upfront can be a little daunting. I also would say that I'm mostly accustomed to google docs/sheets so at times, I try to approach airtable in a similar manner and because the airtable template may be new, It takes up more of my time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to know manage on a project level as well as task-level and be able to track where my interns are at with their workload.

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable makes it easy to manage many different simple or relational data tables and access them to enter or retrieve data from desktop or mobile.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, no complaints. I use Airtable almost every day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I track personal and professional date with Airtable, especially records for routine maintenance for hardware, contact details for contractors and partners.

Give Airtable a try, it's very easy to get started, and powerful when you need it to be.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use. There are many templates for any solution that you may need. Also easy to modify for your own use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limits to the base size for pictures.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shared budget with roommate, job search tracking, home improvement projects, vacation planning, just to name a few. What I find most useful is setting my budgets.

What do you like best about the product?
The strategies of each team are planned in a better way and gives more productive results because Airtable gives you the tools to empower your workers, arranging calendars for a more comfortable performance of tasks, the workload can be modified easily so that there is a balanced and fair work for each employee, offers a real-time chat for the entire team, has an option for autosaving. It gives you an option to share the content to your website.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile application is very simple if we compare it with the desktop version, it does not have enough functions to do a big job, just to check and organize. The formulas are not great as in other spreadsheet software. You can't link records between two or more bases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By tracking hours and expenses, we have been able to save capital and focus on other important matters such as budgets and resources. The options in contact management are useful to reduce work time, the import and export of contacts is great, as well as the search section and the management of potential customers. The work notes and reminders have been very useful
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They should work on fixing bugs that are appearing lately where work advances and filters are removed suddenly, it is a bug that they have to remove. Airtable can improve the text formats and place more options for longer fragments, at this moment it is somewhat limited
