What do you like best about the product?
Airtable helps us manage a LOT here in our office. We used to work solely in Excel which, while that's great and all, we ended up with conflicted copies of files almost constantly. Airtable is easy to use and they're constantly updating their features. I really like that they're constantly updating the platform and providing new options for widgets. I've been able to handle journal submission management, conference management, planning for email schedules, tracking of stats, and more using Airtable!
What do you dislike about the product?
All the good features are part of the premium plans, although I definitely understand why! Because we're a small business, we can't afford to have all of the employees on the premium table that we use. There are some limitations to it, but for our uses they're mostly limited to the form upload option. The automations are limited to only users within the premium plan, which is a pain for what we're trying to use it for, but there are work-arounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conflicted copies of excel files and being able to access information on the go. We do a lot of travel for conferences and Airtable has made it easier to get to our documents/information, especially when we don't have access to a computer. We've been able to get clients involved in using Airtable to help manage what they're doing as well. The drag and drop features are very helpful when planning schedules/timelines are being updated. We're able to have multiple users in each table at a time messing with the tables and it all updates in real time so it takes the guess work out of who is updating what and when.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out. The best part of Airtable is getting to play with it beforehand and seeing how it can do everything you need it for.
I recommend it to all my colleagues!
What do you like best about the product?
It's incredibly easy to use and makes organization and project management a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are small things, like the ability to highlight certain cells, that are limited to paid accounts, but it's still amazing all the tools that are available for free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to organize every publication I produce, events I manage, editorial calendars, etc. It's easy to share with others and allow them to contribute. It's easy to duplicate tables for new issues of magazines without rebuilding.
Airtable empowers people to be productive
What do you like best about the product?
The easy way to transform data into structured and organized tables.
Also the possibilities of using it to be the backend of so many web apps and projects.
It definitely helps me to build things that otherwise were impossible - like managing my social media post, or building internal processes and tools to improve my quality of woerking.

I use it for everything data related.
For example, i have a list of all my invoices, spends, earning, sells... and every client that i work with.
It also has helped me to build amazing data recopiling systems that can be used to gather data from a lot of people and afterwards reach to conclusions.
It manages all my projects so i'm very used to using Airtable.

Airtable - Spreadsheet and Database in an intuitive way
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is very intuitive to use when you have a basic understanding how to use spreadsheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing I don´t like is when the layout suddenly changes due to updates. And that you cant switch between multiple accounts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have now been using Airtable over the last 3 years and loved it from day one. Many of my friends and business colleagues use it now too. For myself I use it for 3 different purposes but mostly for business.
Within my businesses I mainly use it for collecting and sorting data, structuring them, creating surveys for external users to leave their feed back.
Airtable has as well a good source of templates and use cases which you can view to get ideas from or utilize yourself.

Our performance was raised thanks to Airtable features like predefined multiple selection, link between tables and formulas. We get our user insights quicker. The Page Designer App is also a nice way to have directly our reports ready to send to our clients.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

If you use excel, Airtable is the visually-appealing next level site! Perfect for getting organized while working from home
Airtable has been a game changer!
What do you like best about the product?
I've been able to use Airtable for everything from my own business management and organization, that of my clients' businesses, and even for things at home like meal planning, tracking our budget, tracking household chores, etc. I love that there are different views, making this an easy tool to collaborate on even if those collaborating have different preferences for PM tools. My life has been made infinitely easier by Airtable all around. I also really appreciate the message boards and AT universe, both of which made it much easier to learn and stick with Airtable
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could be improved upon (in my opinion) are the options for collaborating with team members on a free plan. I run my own business as a project manager and online business manager for small businesses, so I'm often working on many different things - and with many different people - at any given time. I have separate workspaces for each client (all on the free plan) and then my own business is on a paid plan. It would be great to have an option to limit abilities for clients who access the bases I have on my paid plan - I simply can't do it as it would cost me an extra $20pp/pm - which would put my AT bill at $300 monthly. All that said, I've been able to figure out workarounds but there is much more I could do if that cost wasn't a barrier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Content/social media management has been a big one, as well as general project management. Sometimes I have to convince my clients to use it as intended, which doesn't always work in my favor, but even so - I have access to all the information I need right at my fingertips to answer questions even if they're not comfortable finding those answers themselves (within our shared bases). For as much as I love Airtable, and I use it from sun up to sun down basically, I know my knowledge is barely scratching the surface and there is so much more I could do once I take the time to learn it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It can be hard to get in the swing of things at first. I left Airtable at first because I was overwhelmed but once I after having taken the time to learn it properly, I'm so glad I gave it another shot
Airtable can do it all

Nothing! It's all really great. Oh not being able to see full views of the task name in Kanban view.

The Tool I Never Realized I Was Missing ... and Now Can't Live Without
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is incredibly versatile. I started using it at work to consolidate a large number of separate Google Sheets my team was using to track information we used on a daily basis. Once I got familiar with the platform and started to experiment with its more advanced features, I found that it was even more useful than I had originally expected. I was so delighted with it that I created a personal account, so I could use it for projects at home, as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
The two things I want to do with Airtable that I am unable to do are 1: use forms to create records and 2: access data across bases.
1. I use Airtable to keep track of all the events and assets my marketing team promotes, and we really want to use the Form view to allow members of other teams to submit requests for new events and assets they want us to add to the rotation. However, since there is no way for them to see a list of events that are already in the system and then add a new one if their event is not listed, we have to do a complicated multi-table flip-flop process where people start filling out a request form, and if the item they want is not in the dropdown menu, they have to click on a link to a separate form to add it, and then return to the form they're on. Then to get everything in its proper place, someone on my team has to go through and transfer data from one table to another. It's unnecessarily complicated.
2. We have multiple teams using Airtable, and it would be so helpful to be able to share data across teams. For example, our Organizational Development team has an Airtable in their Workspace that keeps track of team members, and the Marketing Department has an Airtable in our Workspace to keep track of events team members attend. It would be incredibly helpful to be able to link our table to theirs, so we have access to their headshots and bios and can also keep a running log of which events team members speak at without having to copy and paste information from one table to another and remember to check to make sure it's current. With the number of people using the platform, the cost to upgrade to an account that syncs data across table is prohibitive.

We use Airtable to keep track of all the events and assets our Marketing department promotes. We are able to use separate views to keep track of event details (webinars, conferences, Meetups, and training courses all have a different set of details and URLs we need to have handy when we create web pages and social media posts). We also use it to keep track of our email calendar and what events and assets are promoted in each email. And we have a record of all the content available for promotional use (case studies, solution fliers, videos, etc.). We also keep track of holiday card recipients. The primary benefit for us is being able to keep all of this information in one place, so we don't have to keep a huge pile of separate spreadsheets updated.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a way to consolidate large amounts of critical information in one place, so you can access, sort, and act on it quickly and easily, Airtable is without question the best tool I've seen for that. We literally could not be as efficient or effective as we are at our jobs without it. I recommend it to practically everyone I meet, and my team actually has a running joke that my answer to any question is likely to be "Airtable," whether it's relevant or not!
