Improved upon database, value depends on whether you need the features
What do you like best about the product?
I like the variety of views for calendar, event-by-event, and table. There are definitely projects where linking all of these types of data (people, resources, locations, dates, projects) together is necessary and Airtable makes that intuitive and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like that I kept making new, empty tables by accident. I don't know what was wrong with my account or maybe just how I was using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were managing our conference schedule: what was available, what was important, who would attend and why.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Play around for a while before you structure your data.

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has proven to be a critical tool inmy team’s daily flow. I love the way everything looks and everything is very nice and functional. I like it all.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I love it. As far as my use is concerned, it’s really good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team collaboration, assiging tasks, project management. It has really helped us with the flow.
If you need data organization this is for you. Works like a spreatsheet and has neat calendar views.

I like the way I can organize and collaborate the data in a way that make for ease of use. I also like the calendar view aspect. It really makes life easy especially with all the available templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some getting use to but once past the learning curve you are all set. The cost may be a small negative factor but overall it's probably worth it

Our data organization was a hot mess until we found this and now it's all good !!! The benefits are better organization and ease of use when searching for needed information.

It is a very complex program. If you are looking for something simple this is not for you. If you want to break down data/pipelines to be highly specific and targeted then this will work great for you. Good for medium-large teams

The ease of communication. It is very user-friendly.

Sometimes the graphics are hazy. It can be difficult to link.

The loading and processing can take an incredibly long time.

Know that it will be very slow in processing and that people will have difficulty with the amount of time that it takes to load and submit questionnaires.
Easy to dive in
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable came up as an integration in an online webpage design studio as an option to store form entry data. I was easy to set up, and I loved being able to get right to business. Whatever Airtable couldn't do, it had integrated API resources that allowed me to integrate with other online platforms like Zapier. The basic use of Airtable was really easy (and in an odd way, rather fun). Perhaps the UI is to thank for the ease of use.
The API was simple enough to set up. It allowed me to interface with two other online platforms which allowed me to get everything done easily.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see integration with Microsoft Flow and PowerApps - or other online platforms. The selection of integrations is great, but I find that more is always needed with mots online platforms because each platform seems to have a niche that others can't fill easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing data in a spreadsheet. Using API from Airtable to let Zapier know when a new line of data has been entered and it sends an automated email.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try if you ever need an online spreadsheet that can integrate easily with most automation platforms. If you just need a spreadsheet, Excel and Google Spreadsheets are still going to do what Airtable does (without the easy integration with Automation platforms - but much more in other areas)

I use Airtable for my small business to keep track of inventory and sales. It is very simple and well designed.

You have to download an app to use on phones or tablets, no direct access to the website through mobile.

This helps me organize my products for sale by category and keeps track of inventory and sales records.
