Quick wins and so much more potential with this simple yet powerful tool.
What do you like best about the product?
For a product with such robust functionality it is remarkably easy to use. We've had challenges in the past with poor adoption of new systems and processes because the tool was too complicated for our users. Even our least tech savvy users have had a great things to say about Airtable. It really allows you to organize and work with complex information in a simple, visual way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to link bases in order to estimate total workload for an employee based on the tasks in various bases.
Because the functionality is so robust set up can be a bit overwhelming but, the tutorial videos, templates and 'universe' are incredibly helpful in supporting development.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable has helped us implement inter-departmental processes that have improved collaboration, increase efficiency and reveal trouble spots. We've started using it to manage our content calendar, technical issues and will be expanding its use to streamline our ad copy process and fundraising campaign management. Fewer things are falling through the cracks and we're able to be much more strategic in where we're focusing our efforts.
We're still at the beginning stages but have received positive reviews from staff who find it easy to use and appreciate that it allows them to be more proactive.

Airtable is an exceptionally well designed experience.
What do you like best about the product?
I find that it is better for tasks like project planning and management than some dedicated tools in the area. I'm honestly having trouble finding the perfect fit for airtable within my organisation, but i just love airtable so much i am willing to keep trying.
What do you dislike about the product?
Permissions could be better, folders. Api is too slow. There is a general lack of features because every feature they make has to be so perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for our sprint planning and for data sorting and filtering - we connect it with our live app and use it as an analytics platform.
Airtable: a quantum leap in application development
What do you like best about the product?
Easy of use, excellent documentation, very reliable, no bugs (till now!)
What do you dislike about the product?
1) A bit slow to load large bases. 2) Timestamp for record modification missing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Education tool for students of course "Software programming and Information Systems"
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Excellent for Team Collaboration
Airtable has been a career changing product
What do you like best about the product?
I hate working in excel and building databases. But Airtable is intuitive easy to use and customizable to my needs. I love Airtable!
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is a little high and I had some issues that took longer than I would have liked to resolve. But they were ultimately taken care of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am organizing all my projects, and visual archives using Airtable. I am more organized than ever before!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I love Airtable, it's easy to use and to build your own databases for whatever you need!
Versatile, user-friendly, possibly the greatest thing since sliced bread.
What do you like best about the product?
I love Airtable. It's hard to narrow it down to one thing, but I'd say its flexibility. You can literally use this tool to manage and organize any kind of project or data. You can give other users different degrees of editing access, so you don't have to worry about something getting messed up (like it might in a spreadsheet/Google sheets).
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the cost (if you have a lot of users, I imagine it can get a little expensive), but I am a small business so it's really cheap for me to use. And you can even get credit on your account for referring people, which I do all of the time!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I keep my editorial projects organized in Airtable. I am a content marketer who creates a LOT of content -- written and design -- for my clients. With the ability to categorize and sort data by client, contractor, status, etc., I can easily check on the progress of each task and generate custom reports. I am still learning all of the details, but it is SO easy to use and has been a major time-saver and sanity-saver for me.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check out the awesome tutorials and content around it -- there's a lot of helpful stuff and inventive ways of using it that might not occur to you on your own.
Fantastic Cloud Database!!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to use in pretty much every aspect. The UI is clear and reads like a spreadsheet. The api is generated for your specific tables and very clear. The code samples to get you started are wonderful!
What do you dislike about the product?
The 5 api calls a second limit makes it hard to scale. Also it is not intuitive on how to do lookups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for data managemebt/storage. We love how easy and intuitive it is to pick up and start coding.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want database management in the cloud for your website that is dirt simple to use, you found it. Everything is just so smooth to review/edit/implement
A useful, free tool for EVERYTHING
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use (even to older users with no technological training!). But most of all the versatility. I use it for everything: from conference planning to marathon training to grading students, in addition to my duties as an editor.
What do you dislike about the product?
Upgrading is per user. So although I have over 60$ in credit, I can't actually use it to upgrade my current workspace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team all works remotely, some with PCs and some with Apple. Our projects take months or years to come to publication, and keeping track of the data and the people involved through excel spreadsheets became impossible. Although I have training in database software, my team does not and found it too difficult. Airtable solved these issues--it's easy to use and understand (like an excel spreadsheet) but has all the benefits of a database.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start out with the templates, even if they aren't relevant to your business, just to get a hang of the features.
Best Collaboration Suite
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the different formats your spreadsheets can be displayed. We all take in visual information differently so I appreciate that it can be customized to the individual.
What do you dislike about the product?
If they had a more streamlined invitation process that would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
color coding has helped a lot with prioritization.

Great Multi-Use Project Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is extremely flexible and customizable. It meets a wide variety of needs for me, both professionally and personally. I currently use Airtable at work to track memberships, plan our organization's full year calendar across departments, and manage a highly complex event with over 1,000 attendees.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I personally find Airtable extremely intuitive, I think the variety of options are overwhelming to some less technologically adept colleagues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Event planning and management - we track event sponsors and monetary commitments, the expense budget, marketing collateral, vendors and contact information
Non-profit development - use Airtable to plan our full year calendar; the ability to include (and thus sort by) date, type, priority, etc. is extremely useful and allows me to easily see if we have set too many tasks for one date range and if we are doing enough of each type of task

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you understand all the tool can do and watch some tutorials as this greatly improves your ability to manipulate bases.
Great for Planning and Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Love the ability to create custom views for the data. Each team member can present the data in the way that works best for them, while keeping everyone on the same page and up to date.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few field types that can be hard to comprehend, but the help on their website walks through everything very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Future planning and team collaboration.
