Great tool for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I think it's a great tool for project management, and smaller companies to keep track of all sorts of company data - HR, Finance, etc. We use it to track deliveries and I like the fact that it does not require coding skills and pretty straight forward to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it gets confusing where all the options are and how to give access and what type of access to peers. The different views can also be confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking dates and product delivery - helps with streamlining and getting rid of excel sheets.

What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly haven't found anything we don't like, but our team's use of it is pretty limited since we use Workfront as a primary project management tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to track all internal communications and marketing efforts for our university audiences. It gives us visibility into what each audience (students, staff, alumni, prospects) is receiving in a given day and manage overload.
It equips us to quickly and accurately report to executives about integrated comms and marketing efforts. It provides a one-stop location where any team member, not just the team member who planned a campaign, can provide an update.

What do you like best about the product?
APIs are great, connectors to SnowFlake, Salesforce, JIRA
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a fan of how tables are linked to each other, limitations on table and workspace level

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is highly flexible which allows us to use it to explicitly meet our needs without a bunch of extra features we don't need. This means we're really only paying for what we need it to do and don't require the use of expensive consultants and developers to set it up or make changes as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downsides are that it does require quite a bit of planning before you try to build any kind of complex system. And there aren't a lot of pre-built functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is working like a very customized CRM for which also serves as the underpinning for our external reporting systems.
We are able to provide multiple stakeholders the data they need and allow them to interact with it.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to create public views for interfaces and views, customize the individual record view in the interfaces, and use the AI functionality to assist me with writing formulas.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. The download button does not work on the publicly shared interfaces. It acts like it is going to download, but it never does. I think it is because of the Java scripting, etc., instead of just being a command to download the data, like it is within the View.
2. Need the ability to do larger batches with automations and APIs.
3. We need the ability to conditionally format things not just by the row, but like you can in an Excel or Google sheet. We would also love to have a formula field that is also a single select, so we can use it as a filter on an interface.
4. The ability to have Filters on an interface with a dropdown menu with formula fields.
3. Since the headers cannot be wrapped around, it would be very helpful to have the option to wrap text for the top/header row.
4. That you cannot create an interface using a view within a tab; instead, you have to use the whole tab, which then requires me to set all the filters, etc.
5. You cannot change the data source in an interface tile/group if you have to recreate it.

Allows us to have a relational database for an extremely agile project when an SQL database is too rigid.
Took a while to learn, but Air Table IS VERY HELPFUL!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that there is a way to keep data organized, but different views are available. Very easy touse once I learned the programming.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could use data in one tab and separate it better so we don't have to toggle so much. I also wish the App allowed the collapse setting option in KanBan view. Not initalially user friendlt if you are used to Excel/MS Prooducts.

Organization, collaboration, and management.
Multi-faceted solutions for multi-faceted work
What do you like best about the product?
I like that everything is available online at all times and syncing across bases and linked records works like a charm. It's really leveled up my ability to manage complex data structures.
What do you dislike about the product?
The base UI on phones and tablets needs some work if you're not set on spending countless hours setting up interfaces for phones and tablets. The only other drawback is the fact that there is no offline functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My problem was that a variety of sources were being used for events that I managed and that data was only accessible to my internal team. This limited transparency and caused discrepancies between documents. Now, with Airtable, I am able to connect everything at once and my internal and external teams are able to view. It's truly next level!
Great for databases
What do you like best about the product?
Makes it very easy to create and connect multiple tables.

Navigating between databases could be better.

Excellent custom database for small Non-Profits
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate that Airtable does not require any in-depth tech knowledge or experience in order to create a custom database. My background is in the humanities but I was able to create and implement a fully-functional CRM database for my organization with only a few days of effort. My team and I found it easy to use right from the get-go so implementation was painless. If I ever encounter any issues (which is very rare), Airtable support is quick to assist with helpful suggestions. My organization uses it to track our grantmaking, relationships with individuals and organizations, our meetings/projects, and media. Highly recommend!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I would change about Airtable at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a CRM that was low-cost to implement and also tracked grants, projects, media-mentions and meetings. It was impossible to find this software ready-made so we opted to create our own database with Airtable. Now, our organization can easily track all of these instances and more. We have a clearer view of our relationships with other organizations and individuals and can track our grants with ease.
Airtable has made event organization such a breeze and so easy to share among colleagues.

Airtable is easy, intuitive and great for teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of functionality that is too in the weeds but that's not a drawback, it's just that I need to learn more!

It's streamlining information for our team and making everything easily accessible.
